When I arrived many moons ago, Defiant was at the top of the default server list for new accounts so I clicked on it - as did almost everybody else. They then moved Union above Defiant because people were complaining about Union being empty...

The search function was never that great anyway to be honest. There's a generic Kheldian Guide on the US boards still.

I have one toon on Union, the rest (with no free slots) are on Defiant.

We had this very discussion last year so it doesn't look as if anything's going to be done about it. They spawn at random locations at random levels within the zone's level range. Not a major problem at higher levels but in Atlas and Galaxy it's a real pain in the neck.

Heh tried to edit that but it's too late. They don't actually spawn at random locations, the presents are always in the same place. Just the mobs spawns themselves are random levels for the zone.

The auction house really needs some more time spent on it. It falls over with monotonous regularity. It's 14:15 on Friday 19th December 2008 and the thing is as dead at a dodo...again.

I can't see a server merge happening. NC have said it's not going to happen. If it did and I lost any of my higher level toons names (which I'm now quite attached to) I'd be off for pastures new like quite a few other people.

I'd like to add something to this suggestion - take the halo's out of the aura group altogether.

Because it's an aura, it can't be used with any other aura's, you either have a halo or something else. The flaming halo would be a perfect aditional to a toon with a flaming torso aura but it can't be done unless you use a flaming shield. That really reduces it's usefulness to...well nothing really. A halo on it's own looks pretty pathetic.

Oh, while we're talking about halo's, the scaling is a bit skewed as well. On tiny toons, the halo sits almost on the head instead of a few inches above.

Though the desciption on NCSofts site still says they can be tinted. The lack of ability to colour the things is the reason I've not bothered getting them for my toons - will collect the canes and unlock the halo's but I'm not using them as they are...

They need to think again I'm afraid. This doesn't explain why my lvl 50 PB (unexemplared) failed to get a reward twice in a row.

I'd agree with that. Seems a bit daft to be able to get the things at level 1 but not use them till 30.

Yep. Agreed. What on earth is the point of allowing you to earn something at level 1 that you can't use till level 30? Almost as annoying as clicking on a present in Galaxy at level 1 and being flattened instantly by a group of level 7 snowbeasts...who thought THAT one up?

CCleaner isn't a firefox tool, it's a freeware 'system cleaner' for windows systems. Some people have had good results with it, some have had problems. I've never used it myself. I clean my system 'bits' individually when I feel a need to.

There are options on the privacy and network tabs (tools menu/options) on firefox for clearing the cache and cookies and such things if you need to.

pfft don't believe anyone who says Firefox is perfect. I use it because I have more control over it than I ever did over IE, plus it has lots of amazingly useful addons available. Perfect it ain't.

I'm using firefox as well, seems ok at the moment. The CoX forums do seem to be surprisingly unreliable though, compared to others anyway. Sometimes there are no problems, other times I can read from them but not post, often they're completely unavailable.

56 that want to be seen that is. I wonder how many people are normally hidden these days. I know I tend to hide from searches on my higher level toons (especially my fire/rad controller) - I get a constant barrage of farming/fill/pl requests from logging in to logging out if I'm not hidden.

They can't help. On the few occasions I've looked for a new game, I always do some research first to see what the people actually playing it are doing/thinking. The official forums for the game are one of the things to look at. If half the threads are saying the game's dying, I'm not going to bother going any further.
