Ok, as it stands right now, if everyone shows up, we could run 4 teams of 6... Or a little over 3 teams of 8.

So what would you all prefer? It's been my experience that Posi is easier on smaller teams.... but the Freedom Horde tends to blast through everything in its path, so full teams of 8 might not be too horrible.... My goal is to have this take less than 3 hours because of the later start time, and a lot of the players being East Coasters...

As it stands, I have 3 confirmed leaders (myself, MB, Joe), so I'm going to probably need 1-2 more leaders. We also could use 1-2 more people that have Stealth -and- TP available by level 15. So check your builds and if you have that and haven't told me you do, please let me know.

You don't want that one. I had the HTC Touch for 3 days before I threw it back at Best Buy for being a craptastic phone.

The later iterations from HTC are a considerable improvement, but when it takes me 20 minutes to use their ghetto voice dial to make a call? It's not a phone, it's an internet portal that occasionally can make calls.

On a side note, I'm going to focus my DXP weekend playtime on leveling a villan. The trouble is that all my villans are on Virtue. I'm afraid to see what role playing I'll find on my way around THAT server...

I *used* to have all my villains on Virtue. A few that I abandoned in the low levels are still there.

Honestly, the general atmosphere there just creeped me out. I moved a few of my favorites over here to Freedom back in December and started over. Much happier here

Yeah I can try to get you all on the same team when possible. The only problem might be where I rely on Joe as a third team leader. So I can either switch you all to Joe's Team when he runs one, or you all can stay on MB's, and Joe will just be lonely

Like I said, it'll just depend on whether we have 2 or 3 teams running. If we have 3 teams, I'll stick them all (or most of them) with Joe. If it's two teams, you get them, since two of them are your regular team mates anyway for these events.

Edit: I made note of who all was on Vent for now, and I'll keep it in mind when making teams in the future.

Before we started our static team runs, KS & I along with some current members of our static team used to run TFs every week. This one week we ran the Respec Trial (not sure which one), but we were moving through it & got to the hall, the usual warning about the bombs, etc - when KS spots one & blasts a bomb...just as our emp defender Doc Codis is walking by (this was prior to the one-shot code), so Doc goes down.

He rezzes, KS apologizes & we move on...

...but then King Sac proceeds to blast a another bomb...once again just as Doc Codis is walking by...so the good doctor again goes down...thanks to King Sac!

...and I won't let him forget it... (That's what friends are for!)

I'm never really one to worry about XP leaches. It's a very rare thing for a Freedom Horde team to not steam roll everything in its path. A lot of the sign ups will be exemping, so we can always sk you up.

Normally I'm not too worried about stealthing abilities, but this TF can be very long if you don't stealth some of it. The lack of travel powers of some people, and the 5 defeat alls can really slow the whole thing down. Since we're not starting until 10pm Eastern, I'd like each team to be *able* to stealth if needed so it doesn't take 3-5 hours for the East Coasters.

Oh yeah, that's right! I forgot about that. Actually it could have been me or Grimnor as well to blame. We both did AoE Rain attacks right before you died .

But if you want to blame King, go for it

Thank you to everyone that showed up last night! We had six people signed up not show up, but we had 3 people decide to join us at the last minute. We had 3 teams: Joe with 7 people, MB with 7 people, and my team with 6 people.

My team was:

DarkestFrost: Dark/Ice Defender
Flames of Mr. E: Fire/Shield Scrapper
Xort: PB (Fantastic tanking!)
King Sac: Energy/Energy Blaster
Grimnor: Fire/MM Blaster
Archantos: Fire/Kin Controller

My team finished in 1:10:41 with 4 deaths.

I was of course first death, and I think 2 of the four deaths total. My first death occurred in one of the defeat alls, when I lept over a wall to land in the middle of a group of Rikti. I would have been okay, but I lagged right then, and was unable to pop off a heal before I took the alpha strike. Oh well!

The final 3 deaths occurred during the end of the reactor room. One of the final spawns took down 3 of us squishy's (myself, Grimnor, and someone else). Not really sure how it happened.

Thank you to everyone who came out! This concludes Round 1 of the Monday Night TF's! It's been nutty and a lot of fun, and I've really enjoyed seeing everyone every week.

Next week starts up Positron. I'll post the sign up sheet later today. It will only automatically include people who I spoke to last night that I know are coming. There are so many people in that other thread, that I think it might be best to let you all sign up "officially" for Positron, versus me assuming you are still interested/available.

I've never played the Elec set so I have no comment on it. My husband has a Fire/MM blaster (Grimnor) that he's enjoyed.

If you really want AoE, I've played and *loved* my Archery/MM Blaster. I love her to pieces (Artemis). That is if you can stand to do another archery toon so soon.
