Just an update:
I'd like either Mr E or Xort to co-lead my team tomorrow night. So if either of you is willing please let me know.
My cold is turning into bronchitis, and I cannot stop coughling long enough to do much. It *might* be better by tomorrow night, but more than likely it will not be. I don't want to slow my team down by coughing so much I cannot go back to the contact etc. I'll still be playing, but I think it would be better if someone else had the star on my team.
Just now tried playing CoH w/ the husband, and I had to stop ever mob and cough my stupid head off.
So just an update for anyone stuck on my team for tomorrow

That'll be my MoLRSF runs until I can get another villain up in range... or if you all are short people, I can fill. Just don't want to take up a spot for someone else to try to get it

. Great job on regrouping and taking it out. That spider is trouble when it hits the 3rd stage of its morph. It packs a a good punch if your not getting a good heal in.
Although I'm sure we'll run this TF again before that point It's such a good one!

Unless the new issue fixes it, it is still bugged. Ran this with Mr E during double xp weekend, and we had to have someone in range to start it. Luckily that night we did.

However, Issue 16 of City of Heroes will launch probably within the next week, at which point you will most likely see tons of people in the tailor shops redoing the color of their powers, or trying to get the Master of Badges for the ITF and the new Dr Kahn and Barracuda TF's. Becaues of the new power customization, expect to see a lot more people standing around being useless in Atlas Park again

PS: If you still have room, make sure to give a shout out in the chat channel. There tends to be a lot of lurkers in the channel that don't like to sign up, but they will often join at the last minute

I would probably bring Tabby this time instead, and I haven't brought her to PvP before, so I don't know how well that would end up. I might need to work on that second build soon. haha
Edit: MB, you two get a time worked out, give us a shout in the chat channel, or post it in the MoTD in the chat channel (a few days in advance). I'm sure we can scrounge up enough people with some notice.

This ^, except you are technically scored individually, not as a team.. though the team can earn certainly points together. If you start defeating turrets, and THEN form a team, it's possible for you to reach 1000 before everybody else. Likewise, if somebody joins a team late, it's possible for the whole team to earn 1000 except for that person. You can join and leave teams as many times as you want, and your individual score wont reset until the Dimensional Reversion or until you leave the zone.
You mainly earn points by defeating the turrets. Taking 6 boxes and winning the zone only gives you a little over 500 points though, so there would have to be Villains taking them over as well so you can keep going until you have enough points before finally winning the zone. You can also earn point by defeating other players and by taking out the AVs.
It's important to note that you don't get the Longbow Mech when you reach 1000, nor do you get it when either Hero or Villains win the zone. I don't think there is a way to lose points, and you can still earn the Mech even if our "side" didn't win the zone. You can still earn points once a winner is declared and the Mech is awarded to anybody with 1000 points once the Dimensional Reversion finally resets the zone a few minutes later.
Hmm one night when a lot of people are bored, we should round up a crew of Horde and go visit RV. Just don't advertise it on here, cause it tends to cause trouble when that happens. (Note: I'm not leading this :smirk: so don't assume that I am!)

I didn't think we were going to need you because we didn't have that many sign ups, but Joe wasn't feeling well and I didn't have much advance notice, and I know you are such a great leader

Heck, you all did better on your run then most of the times I've done that second TF. I think last run it took my team like an hour and a half, at least half of it in the final mission.
As for having the other healer in your room at the same time I agree it's really handy. My husband, while he usually doesn't play a support toon, almost always takes the medicine pool, so we have field medic scrappers and blasters. We've often been in situations where its come in handy and he'll let me know who he's rezzing so I don't waste my rez.
In a group I've joined that runs once a week, we use TS, and that's always handy as well so that you're not wasting rezzes.
I just wish people would remember they have rezzers on their teams and let us at least *try* to rez them before they pop a wakie

Whats the skinny on that? I don't believe I've ever got one of those.
You get a Longbow Mech by being on a team that has over a 1000 points (I think?) when a round ends in Recluses Victory. I think I earned one once on Luna. I probably still have it on her
You can have only one Longbow Mech at a time, but if you use yours, you can go back to RV and get another if your team has over 1000 points before the zone resets. -
