The sound that normally plays when the power is first toggled on, instead loops repeatedly every time there are foes in range to give you the extra buff. It's VERY annoying.

Nah, you all are safe. The downfall of the "Hormonal Rage" set is that it has an annoyingly long recharge time. :smirk:
The "Stress Armor" set has a quick recharge time, but its full of powers that don't do very much!

Edit: The Tier 9 in the Hormonal Rage set is "Instant Death to All Nearby Foes" and the Tier 9 in the Stress Armor set is "Mental Breakdown". You get a +50% buff to all powers, followed by a 5 minute period of not being able to do a darn thing.

Really, bring whatever you want to, I don't mind. I think lately we're had 3 solid rads joining us every week, so we've got that covered. Tankage is still a little touch and go. Some weeks we have several, and other weeks we have only 2. *But* on those weeks I usually try to get at least a PB/WS on the team without a tank in hopes they can Dwarf Tank in tough spots

- This task force requires at least 6 to start. We will be running at least 3 teams that night.
- I will leave it up to each team leader to decide if they want to run a regular version or attempt a "Master Of" version. My team will be running a regular version after a team vote (half hearted vote) last night.
- We will wait to form teams until close to 10pm Eastern. This will allow us to get a better idea of what builds we have present. Anyone not at the contact, or that has not sent me a tell letting me know they are on their way will not be included.

I think I'm going to play with an abandoned toon next round. Still deciding what. Maybe a kinetic (I have 3, and would love to have a high level one of those), or a WS/PB (force myself to get used to playing one!), or my poor Ice/Thermal controller that cannot solo worth anything. :smirk: -

We had a couple of people unable to join us, but we also picked up a PUG tank. My husband (who wasn't paying attention to chat) cracked me up last night. He saw that tank standing there (who I had Joe's team grab) and he said "That's not one of our usual people, and he's a Tank!". I said yes, and by that point Joe's team had started and was headed out. My husband didn't realize this, and he started going "Oh no, he's getting away! Don't let the free range tank get away!" :smirk:

Per the request of my team, we decided that I should bump my difficulty up to +2 since "it was just a respec".
First mission went very smoothly, great xp was had by us lowbies.
Second mission comes, and we have the borked AE door that doesn't exist. Grrrrrr! So after consulting w/ MB, we restarted.
King Sac had to leave us at this point to do some prep work for his fantasy football league. So we restarted minus him, and stealthed the first two missions of the TF.
Then we get to Terra Volta. We wait for some slow pokes in my SG to zone, and we go in. We buff up, jump in, and start getting one shotted. Turns out that something borked up with the final mission, and we entered to find level 46 Tank Smasher bosses. About 6-8 of them. We were scalled to 36 (my level). Needless to say it was a mess.
We went outside to regroup. I lowered my diffuculty (off of +2 and went to -1) and we relogged. We logged back in to find the enemies at 43 now. <Sigh> After more debate and relogging, we decided to relog as a group again and have one of the 50's (Thanks Scruffy!) relog in first. That did the trick! The team logged back in as 42's. So much much better!
We finished in 1:24:05 with 6 deaths. Oh yeah, that doesn't count the one death I had 90 yards from the contact on the first go around. <Sigh> I really hate super speed in Founders. I think it's time to respec Dyanthia to pick up flight. :smirk:
I've decided on future runs with a wide level range (ITF, Sara Moore) that we're going to have a 50 lead the team just to be on the safe side. We did nothing wrong and the silly TF messed up on us last night. Bleh!
Next week is the ITF! Remember to have the zone unlocked before hand guys!

Captain Negative was inspired by (for those of you who don't keep up much with comics.) the Marvel Zombies and lately by the Black Lantern Corps from Green Lantern. It's a nice easy way for me to use Captain Power, but not.... And so if you see Cap running around, it's in name only....lol. He's Captain Negative right now! lol. Also it's a forshadow of the upcoming resurrection of Captain Power....due out sometime around Halloween. (hmm, resurrection around halloween, and a zombie version of Captain Power running around.......) yea it's so cliche' it's pathetic, but I'm a traditionalist, I can't help it!

I hear you all on the wanting to switch around more, and I'll do my best on it.
My biggest problem with the Monday night crew is that we have a lot of "I wanna play with this person whose my mate, friend, SG mate, etc etc". We also are really short on tanks and debuffers this run. I try my best to get one of each for each team, but sometimes I just cannot. So in turn I then try to stack that team to make up for whatever is missing.
The players I have the easiest time moving around are blasters, scrappers and buffers. So if you want to move around alot, those are the AT's I suggest you play
I'll try to mix up the teams more in the future, but sometimes when you put all the variables in place, the teams end up pretty much the same each week
