  1. 1 question does the tank get this buff and teammates? or just teammates?

    Take out one of the healing IOs(cause more then 3 and it's pretty much wasted) and that's how i have it slotted.

    I'm new to dominators but this is where your argument falls flat on its face. Not everyone has billions to sink into builds for permadom and remember I hope so cause I have read it on these boards countless times "this game isn't balanced around IO's"

    Pfft tell that to my fire blaster who is built around recharge. Start giving blaster soft capped ranged def and this game becomes even more of a cakewalk then it already is. I can solo EB's just fine and with great speed I may add. And my blaster can throw of 3 attacks before any melee toons even get in melee range.

    Smoke and mirrors my ***.

    Maybe you should just learn to play blasters better
  7. ya i've been getting them since the patch so I figure their working again. I would also say it's probably one in every 100 i get one too.

    Well buy recipes craft them and sell the enhanement you might just be suprised at how much more is some cases the crafted goes for more then the recipe.

    And TF/SF's get you merits and those in turn and be excanged for some very exspensive IOs

    Buy low sell high
  9. These were exploits, people had multiple npcs following them around in the manner you describe SBing them, bubbling them, buffing them like it was going out of style and making said people near undefeatable.

    Come on now you really think the devs were gonna allow something like this to stay in AE.

    To good to be true all and all that.

    TP friend is interruptable so you have to actually hit the person using the power to stop it.

    1. you can drop offesnsive toggles cause MA is the only set that has reliable stuns for scrappers
    2. It's got some heavy hitters

    I believe you ultimately missed my point here so I'll attempt to be a little more clear about it:

    I am reasonably sure the Devs do -not- have any problem with the idea that there are some powersets which are not solo-friendly. Not every set is supposed to be easy to play. I do not agree with the idea of "tinkering" around with powersets that have been established for years just to fix a supposed problem that for all intents and purposes doesn't really exist.

    I do not think the game in general would benefit from making every powerset perform well in all situations. Empathy has its strengths and weaknesses just like any other set. If you don't like the weaknesses then either don't play with the set or realize that any buffs to the powerset would have to be balanced by nerfing its strengths as well.

    When I offered the solution of Vet combat powers I told you there'd be some who would not like that answer precisely because I knew full well that some people don't have access to them yet. So what? There are plenty of people who have played this game for years under the "harsh" conditions of not having Vet combat powers to help them. If you decide you really can't handle or don't like the challenge of Empathy then maybe you could put Empathy on the shelf and play something else until you do have the crutch of Vet combat powers to help you.

    Buck up little campers. The game should never be nerfed to make it easier for a minority when the majority doesn't seem to need it.


    I think you missed MY point. I don't want empath changed it's fine the way it is but what I'm saying is saying vet attacks are or should be solution for anything is not a good answer for anything no matter what the question. Get it now?

  16. Hehe I was there but i wasn't one of the leaders lol. It actually started cause someone was asking how to spawn the Hamidon so some others and myself piped in and that's how it was started. I was like one of the first 5 in the hive.

    Jesus christ it was a mess though I swear to god the tanks and scrappers had no idea what to do. I think after the 3rd or 4th wipe I just left lol.

    pvp recipes only drop for other player kills and yes they drop in arena
  19. your fire/em still should do good in zones.

    I roll in RV with a fire/devices blaster and he rocks, so go give him a try again I assure you you wont be dissapointed. Fire still has respectful damage in PVP zones.

    ok cool so now I know what a cycle is but, is their some way I can keep track of how many points i have? or is their a chart or something that says what each thing in the zone is worth points wise?

    Edit: oh ya 1 more question do these points restart everytime a new cycle starts?

    I saw a player with this the other day and I asked how s/he got it but no response so I decided to look it up on wiki and that just brought up some more questions.

    it says you have to have a 1000 or more points at the end of a cycle. What or how long is a cycle and what do you have to do to get these points?

    How would stuns kill the set? come on say something like this you better have a good reason for thinking so other then you don't like them. Stuns put enemys out of commision they don't knock **** all over the place. So I'll ask again how would stuns kill Martial arts?
