The same applies for the other recv and regen procs

No it doesn't maybe read the notes a little better only the numina is stated as be fixed
  3. Anyone else have this happening to them this mourning? 3 times to me already and I haven't gotten mapserved for as long as I can remember.

FYI: Never said I was a good pvp'er. I kill some and lose some, but people like you are the reason I limit my visits to pvp zones.

Obviously you all think that bringing break frees is the end all argument to beat Doms. (I don't really see how we got off track of the original discussion, but I'll roll with it.) It's a valid tactic. I don't have a problem with that. However, it's a tactic I personally find dishonorable. You guys go ahead and spam inspirations, I'd rather let the better build/player win the fight--sans inspirations, unless I see that they're eating them up.

Oh, and black? Calling others "kid", says something about yourself. The way you type, I wonder what age *you* are.
I dont usually comment on these boards but this tru wirror thing is stupid to say the least. No inspirations? lol. Honor in a video game? LOL. Seriously stop making up stupid rules and start playing by the ones the game allows.
  5. Umm this is excatly what Going Rogue is about, whats the question?
  6. Cryptic owned it before when villains was released then NCsoft bought it and gave it to players for free(what I've read). So unless another company buys city of* from Ncsoft I think we're as likely to get GR for free as the booster packs.

Is that a joke lols, messing up your own global name is worse then messing up an influence transer threw the market(how people currently transer moneys betweens servers). Stupid is as stupid does mamma always said.

As is my DM/Elec can survive about anything out there before sets. What is even more buff is a Brute version since he can have higher resistances. My scrapper can hit it resistance hard cap easy which is better then being soft capped defense. A brute gets 15% more resistance.

You should really be comparing ATs that are like each other. A scrapper is melee damage period. A tanker is to tank period. A brute is to tank period. That is there designed roles. As such it is hard to compare ATs. The interesting comparison will be Brutes and Tankers. and what will happen with GR.

So here is my question to the posters. Can a Brute on average do the job of a Tanker while doing more damage then a tanker? And yes I know that tankers will always be able to take more of a beating then brutes. I am talking averages.
Of course they can, Yes. Look at redside content usually harder and even the LRSF many of whom would argue is harder then the STF and redside doesn't have tanks just brutes and it all seems to work out.
  9. No word yet but it has to be released before double exp, so anytime before next weekend we should have our answers
  10. Awesome I'll be playing this alittle later today and about this part

    Willpower?

Thanks everyone some great advice here! Deffinalty gives me some ideas.

    Willpower?

I've never rolled a willpower before and decide it was time so I went claws/willpower anyway. What types of bonuses to people shoot for I was wondering? Willpower seems like a mix of everything.

Should i go for regen or more HP maybe, not to sure maybe some def? What seems to be the consesus when building willpower toons and what set bonuses to shoot for and in what order?

Thanks to anyone with any answers.

Your all as big of ***** as I am by automatically disscounting everything I write without even reading half of what was said or even trying to understand a diffrent point of veiw might be possible past your own.

Now.Let me break something to you Chief.

The compairison was a Fire/Fire Tanker vs a Fire/SD Scrapper. So if you want to go off of a AV fight you'll have to redo some of your math for both builds.

Your SD's Damage boost in its set gives BARLY ANY Damage buffage for ONE TARGET.So you just got a failing grade.Your compairing 180% damage boost from a Dual BU Build that also has a Damage Aura going off to a Scrapper that gets a single BU and SD Damage buff for under the Tankers Amount. Not only that but it has no Damage Aura.

Redo your math.Your not adding what was being talked about in the first place Bill Z Bubba.

You guys try awefully hard to keep me in the red when im trying to be polite. That makes many of you worse then me.
I've tried to ignore you I really have but... you spew lies and claim them as fact that is as bad as it gets especially when new players might read some of the stuff you claim. That's why it ticks me off the spread of false information to new people who don't deserve it.

NO ONE is worse then you on these boards PERIOD.

    Rad/Nrg

Fire has better then good AOE and single target.

The survivability support sets offers is not to be overlooked. Assault sets can kill enemies quite well, but don't offer the same help to illusion. Illusion is all about getting enemies to attack something else, while making oneself less of a target. (See two invisibility powers) assault sets take the direct approach, which reveals/refocuses aggro to the dominator. This is problematic to a dominator with a ST confuse, a ST hold, and a long-recharging PbAoE hold, since they can't rely on decoys 24/7 and the terror can't be targeted, and they can't help their phantasm stay alive as well.

Just sounds like bad playing style to me I could survive and even thrive with illusion control for doms. Thye have an AOE fear that does minus to-hit and is up every spawn plus decoys which tank. And for the record doms keep their pets alive threw controling the enemy same with controllers only diff is controllers can buff their pets which is NOT the case for for 5 of 6 illusion pets so seems like it would be even more ideal for doms.

I skipped it but went body mastery for both physical perfection and Energy torrent which is a wonderful cone and does knock up much better cone the fire breath in my opinion.

Due to the presence of many electric controls in various sets/NPC powers, alongside the /electric assault set, I'd say electric is waaay ahead of illusion.
The same could be said about controllers and containment and how they rely heavly on control to survive, buffs and debuffs to a smaller degree. Have you ever played Illusion control to a high level? It doesn't sound like you know how the powers actually work.

  20. I had the same problem then I said screw it and made a fire/SR scrapper, I already have a MA/Shield and was so tempted to go fire/shield but in the end Im glad. I have both soft capped to all 3 positions but the Super reflexes toon just feels more solid maybe it's because of aid self maybe it's because the scailing res SR gets Im not 100% sure but my SR toon can go whole rikti raids and never die not so with my shield.

So I think SR even when both soft capped is tougher but SD is more damage obviously.
  21. Just give doms illusion control and call it a day.
  22. So when is this going to be available for pre order? Double exp starts next week and the add says we need to pre order to get DP for double exp early release.
  23. Lucky666

    Renewed

I didn't realize this was next week already, they better start pre orders for GR soon.

    And Welcome back!

Overall, I'd have to say that the CoX players and Devs have a much better relationship than some other games I play. The Devs talk to us, and take our complaints and bug reports and discussions fairly seriously. Many other games - not so much. For one of the games I play, the "joke" is: no matter what the problem - no matter how widespread - no matter how clearly it's server-side issues ... it's your ram.

My feeling is that if it were easy to fix these things that have plagued some of us, they'd have fixed them.

Also, how many different players do the ITF? Is it a majority of the player-base? My guess is that it is not. That, combined with the fact that the TF mission in question is playable, even if it's not ideal, says to me that it might be prioritized a bit lower than some other issues that affect more people more of the time. Triage for programming bugs tends to be: if it breaks something critical, it gets priority over other stuff. If there is a work around, it might get a little lower in the priority list, but it will still get attention. Sometimes stuff comes up that is found while researching a major problem or putting in the groundwork for further development that they discover will be simple to fix or implement, and that might get slipped in before major stuff is fixed.

It's sort of like life. If you have to clean the garage, and when you start moving stuff around, you notice that the latch on your big toolbox is a teeny bit askew and that's why you haven't been able to get it to latch right for months, you might take a few minutes and a pair of pliers to just bend it back to the right angle and, voila one small problem fixed before the major priority project for the weekend! You can then work on the 2 day garage cleaning project.

At the end of day one, all you can report to your spouse that you fixed the latch on your toolbox, but the garage is in mid-shambles because often, cleaning projects start out with pulling a lot of stuff out of places and that makes it look worse than it did before you started... By day two, you may have fixed a few more little things in the process of finishing up the garage. Hopefully, by the end of day 2, you have a bunch of little things and the one big one done... but sometimes, the big project is bigger than you thought and it's going to take one more weekend.

But next weekend, you have to take the family to visit your in-laws for someone's birthday or anniversary and you can't finish the garage until the following weekend. Or you get a huge storm, and there's water leaking into the basement... which makes the garage project a lower priority than getting the water out of the basement... It might be a month or more before you get back to working on the garage, and then some of what you did before has likely been undone by other people shoving stuff out of the way, and you have to start back a few steps earlier than where you really left off ...

Your spouse is not very happy about where you are with the garage-cleaning project at all now, but you've been doing the best you can with the time and the tools that you have.

Yeah, it's kinda like life... and most of the time, it's stuff that can't be avoided.

    Storm

100% agree that's why Im still playing, the only thing I think is these problems do need to be brought up every now and then so they are not forgotten and I don't know why some people get defensive when issues are brought up.
