  1. I run with 2x Acc 3x Recharge and if I have a spare slot 1x ToHit. On the basis that it can't hurt, and if there is only one mob like an AV or if it fails to hit half of the mob (and it does even with FA ) Gives you that little extra, same reason I stick an End Mod in Dark Consumption. (Normally)

    Siphon life is out, I found that een in protracted battles against multiple rikti head thingies (lvl51+) I never used it, Dull pain and reconstruction did me fine.

    Dropped hasten and SS, always slghtly unhappy with SS. Hasten I like but seems a waste of a whole pool, . Might mean my attack chain is a little slow, but I have five main attacks, plus ToF, plus Laser beams from my fricken eyes (or something ) So I hope that it'll be okay.

    Laser beams, better to slot def debuff or damage?

    Dropped Fly, don't need two vertical powers and SJ/CJ should keep me in the air. Took TP for the annoying hard to reach stuff, and the Shards. Took TP Foe because soloing in high level areas (think RCS & Shards Storm Palace) I just don't have the regen to cope with some of the huge spawns there. Plus its fun to drop things off ledges.

    Kept Stamin but have taken it later as QR does keep up with the demands mainly but at later levels and in large battles that bit extra Regen is handy. And Dark Consumption will keep me topped up. Very useful in late fight stage to keep the end flowing.

    Tried laser beam eyes on my current build, loved it.
  3. I desperatly need a respec for my lvl36 MM (Robotics/Dark) And will do either for it. 2nd Would be prefered as IIRC I don't lose my lvl32 upgrade. PM or reply here with a suggested time as I tend not to play much at the moment. If I am in game, @Lost Ninja

    Any of them, lvl50 Scrapper. Don't need to so if you have a full team I'm fine not doing it. Would prefer either of the 2nd two, spent an awful lot of time failing the first one in I3.

    After I6/ED I used up my respec and ended up with a poor build. I'm hoping that a free respec is forthcoming with I7, or possibly with the first anniversary of CoH in EU, on Feb 4th.

    I mainly use Lost Ninja in PvE, I do a lot of exemping and play primarily for fun, I like to be able to play constantly, so hanging around while waiting to regen is a minus point for me. I also hate running from a battle until everyone is dead, but I also hate debt. So running from a fight when soloing is fine when I have zero end or if I'm very low on health and my clicky regens are recharging.

    Any glaring errors or points? Pick some holes or I'll get it wrong again and spend a whole issue moaning that my build is gimped.

    I'm intenionally taking IH very late, I hardly ever use it but its nice with GM/AVs most of whom I have fought since I hit 50.

    Combat Jumping with Hurdle and SS makes a more than adequate travel power, I tested this quite alot in RCS the other night. This coupled with a slow fly (no flight enhancers just endrdx) means I'm manauvrable in battle with okay above ground capabilities, but doesn't mean I'm stuck with the lack of speed that hover has.

    Is air superiority worth using as a main attack, if not what other pool power could I take instead?

    Main question is would I be better getting stealth than CJ? I know that stealth has been nerfed but by how much?

    This can be last build before I get another respec, free or earnt (I have earned all my normal ones) as I have one character on test with a respec remaining.

    In god knows how many hours (which ped do you use to check BTW?) Lost Ninja has never been held, disoriented, or any of the things that it protects from with Integration running. Thats ever. If it happenes it's because I wasn't running it or I'd had it dropped, normally by a sapper.
  9. IH is no longer a definition power in my mind. I take it late (49) and just stick three recharges in it. I tend to only need it in AV/GM fights most of which I do in my late 40s. On the other hand I can't live with out integration, Dull Pain, Reconstruction and for me Siphon life.

    Hasten I specced out and found my attacks just don't back quick enough, so specced it back in. That was before ED though so not sure now. I took Tough and Weave, and found them wanting, sure they offer a boost but not enough to make them that useful. (And yes I know weave is [censored] anyway. )

    Scrapper Ancilaries... Take focused accuracy in Body Mastery then you can be sure that you'll hit. , thats all I ever take (3 Tohit 3 endred).

    Leadership, as has been said its not that useful, and I'm having problems seeing it as better than anything else, unless you are building for PvP. If thats the case then I don't know.
  10. I specced Stamin out on my last respec, biggest mistake I made, well that and taking weave.... Haven't used it once since taking. Can't post my build because it wasn't planned just made. But I currently run 2x Acc 3x dmg 1x recrdx in all the attacks, mainly as I do a lot of exemping and so lose the benefit of FA. If I can get another free respec I'll probably drop FA all together get the weapons mastery instead (or something).

    MoG used to be awesome....

    Now hmm, it isn't bad, but I suspect that like Elude from the SR secondary its can be beaten by 2x ACC in attacks and Build up etc etc etc. I personally wouldn't take it, and I had it for awhile in I3 & I4. Basically it knock 75% (or 90% can't remember) off your HP then gives you insane end rec. Which sounds good, but you cannot be healed, or heal your self (not really a regen power then ). It has no resistance to Psionics or Autohits like caltrops. Not sure how many other autohits there are now.

    Plus when the two minutes are up you have no health or end for 15 secs, same as elude I suppose, but they can have health I think...

  16. Okay I generally play melee class characters, my main worry in PvP is controllers and defenders. If they have fly and I don't I'm screwed, I can't close. If I can't close they can continue to hold/debuff me ad infinitum. SJ sufers because its too fast, hover on its own is too slow, so I reiterate if you know how to use it fly rocks. And if you don't there are binds that will allow you to move with fly and attack with hover.

    Its PvP, in a game where the levels in any one place could be vastly different WoW for instance I won't gank, nor will I in this game go after someone who is on there last legs, through PvE. But If I see someone with plenty of health being attacked in a PvE battle and I can attack them I will, and if the position was reversed I would expect them to do the same.

    If you want to just do PvE stay out of the PvP zones, if you want to PvE in the PvP zones (better XP ) then accept that there is a risk of being ganked! Its not about courtesy its about common sense.

    Fly is a stupid power in PvP, unless you use it to flee. It has NO combat purpose what so ever except for fleeing. It uses way too much endurance, your halted to an allmost complete stop if you as much as touch your powers. I tried really hard to make a hover / fly combination work on Imaginary. It just didnt work except for fleeing. If you want flying I highly suggest SJ or TP and hover instead. I know its two powerpools but its much more effective.

    On the other hand providing you actually know how to use them Fly/Hover are as good if not better than alot of other powers.... Try chasing a flying blaster with SS+SJ or with TP+Hover sure you might get lucky but it would be that luck. There are a range of binds that can be used, some of the best switch between fly for movement and hover when staionary.

    In fact I would go as far as to say SJ is best for running away with, it has no other function in PvP!

  20. Okay just been reading through looking for inspiration for my lvl12 BS/Rgn. Some quick questions:

    1) I notice that several builds don't include Parry, having read several I5 guides on the US forums which all have it and have it slotted has it changed in I6 to make it less worthwhile? Further does anyone have figures as to how it works. Planner puts its melee (positional?) 23.6, will that mean that I have 26.3% def for each application or will it be Base+23.6%= x +23.6%. Sorry maths isn't my strong point.

    2) AS would/will put the sword away each time I use it I assume, does this make it more of a situational power or is it still good to have in the chain? The though being that if it is situational I'll take it instead of Fly, as with 2x Acc I'll free up a slot and still be able to mainly hit even with fly's -acc debuff.

    3) Again going by the guides elsewhere I'm told that build up is situational. I'm taking it late (18) but would it be better early or later and what is the ideal slotting? (Going by my current build not the one below.)

    4) Assuming that I slot Fast Healing with 3x Health and take Health againwith 3x slots. Plus reconstruction and dull pain. Is Instant Heal essential?

    Taken Stealth as a filler power mainly but will give me a little advantage in PvE getting to boss mobs, and in PvP hopefully allowing me to move a little more succesfully, while not in combat.

    IH is in there, can't think of anything else to add or slot.

    Before 41 Parry would be 2x Acc 2x DefBuff 2x RecRdx, hopefully will give me the defensive edge.

    Attacks as above I want them to hit, I'll no doubt see by 41 if 2x Acc SOs will do the job or not, if they do I may well slot my attacks 1x Acc 3x Dmg 1x Rec Rdx 1x DefDebuf, or something else, maybe pull a slot out of each and have MoG fully slotted for those Oh ***** moments.

  21. I went Rob/Traps in beta, then went Rob/Dark in retail for just this reason, I was only wanting maybe three powers from traps, and tarpit has a good slow with better radius than caltrops. Plus the heal is better than the beacon
  22. Very strange I can both in PvP and in PvE, or could last time I played them, so maybe its been patched out in the last few patches. Haven't played in 10 days or so (not my MM anyway)
  23. SS has no Stealth in PvP IIRC so that won't make a difference, plus someone besides you has mentioned it... The evil santa up there at top!

    I'm sorry but that bollucks. Why the hell should I be forced to not use part of the game? One or more ill tempered brats who should be asked to mind their manners or leave by the devs, are spoiling mine and others enjoyment of the game. Sure I can ignore them, point is I shouldn't have to, they should be dealt with by the community support team, if we as a community cannot make them see the error of their ways. And we can't it seems!

    So rather than allowing these brats to take over the arena and broadcast channels by just ignoring them, and while it may be futile, with hope petition them before you ignore them.
  25. If I understand you want to tell them to attack the target of my friend? I just give them the attack command while targeting a friend. Works for me.
