If you get caught in a CoT prison cell the doors stop you from teleporting, surely the devs could add this to drones making it impossible to Recall, TP Foe or Teleport within its range. Hospitals and safe zones I would think have enough drones for the effect to cover the whole zone. Outside of bases areas TP Foe is a perfectly valid tactic, and is no less sporting than an AS or stacked holds, or instant healing.

I find apart from Eluded scrapper/stalkers, and anyone in PFF 2x ACC in all my attacks hits fine, thats without Tactics and FA (very seldom enter the arena where FA is allowed
That all said MA has 5% base accuracy so its more accurate the DM which is what I have.
Without perma hasten and assuming that you do take stamina either dropping the sixth slot in the attacks or slotting with recharge reductions would be o my mind preferable over end reductions. Regens seldom lack END but chaining attacks is essential. -

I know tactics on a scrapper is pointless (or very nearly) but could be quite useful in PvP any point? What would be good instead? -
I'm planning on leveling my Stalker (currently at lvl13) up so that I can see from the other side. She'll be [censored] in PvP because I am at the helm so to speak.
But no I don't hate them, in fact I don't hate any AT in the game. Though I won't play a Kheldian again as I can't bear them, and I'm not a big fan of Blasters.
Some of the people who I have met over the last year and a bit on the other hand I wouldn't give the time of day to. And that is irespective of their AT or build.
People make stalkers nasty not their powers. -
Was in there late on with TG and co, to be honest I don't spend a lot of time reading local/broadcast chat. Got one hurtful (possibly) comment directed at me but not sure if it was meant as a joke or not. So didn't respond.
To be honest I am in PvP for fun, soon as the fun stops I leave, if I'm getting grief from others wether verbal or physical ganking I will leave. I don't go in for much of the trash talking, I find it all a bit silly to be honest.
Will be back in tomorrow maybe, so you can come and kill me again. -
If your Twighlight Grasp is not enough to heal the pets they will die to quickly anyway. Plus in PvP heroes will not bother with your pets they will just hit you and kill all the pets in one go.
Repair is good for only one thing and that is to boost a prot bot that has run out of end.
Prot Bots are better specced for damage than for healing as their heals are too random to be relied upoun. (1-2x ACC 3x DMG 1x End RDX - And depending on how may ACC a Disorient duration is useful to extend the disorient from the grenades.)
Plus theAssault Bot is only really dangerous to squisheys or when it has all its upgrades. If I kill it first I would then either have less problems killing the replacement or I'd kill the MM either works fine.
At level 32 you would be better off getting the final upgrade power, while both the hold power and the cone fear power are rather good and give good extra control, if you don't upgrade the pets they won't be able to kill fast enough for you.
If this is to be a PVP specific build I would recommend getting at the very least Stealth and Grant Invis. But Teleport is good too, a well slotted TP Foe can be used to grab enemies and drop them into a pre placed tarpatch. And because the tar patch reduces the resistance of foes your bots can cut through them quickly.
This was pretty much the only way I found of getting easy kills in a zone. (Arena is much harder as you seldom have time to buff before your enemy kills you.& Same with Bases Raids)

As I have said many times I'm not a huge PvP fan, but with RV coming up as well as the freespec, I'm looking at speccing Lost Ninja into a build that is functional in PvP, whilst remaining okay at PvE. More importantly it has to be a good exemp build, as certainly over level 20 I will be exemping, both for Sirens and for helping teams in PvE.
I can easily build for PvE (though looking at my I6 build you may wonder) PvP is a bit stumping so a build or suggestions would be handy. -
My Robots/Dark is currently sitting happily at 39, currently unlikely to get much further until I7 and possibly not then as I feel extremely underwhelmed by the 41-50 villain content. I have played two different builds extensivly and tried another on test a fair bit. Plus knowlege of a lot of the other powers from my other characters.
Level 10: Air Superiority - Don't bother as a mastermind your whole reason in battle is to avoid the notice of the mobs if you start attacking they will notice you and you will die. Far better getting a leadership pool earlier.
On the subject of leadership don't bother with Manuveurs, get assault and tactics, it offers such a low buff you probably won't even notice it.
Tis is what I would go for if looking at the same pools:
01) Battle Drones ->AccAccDmgDmgDmg
01) Twilight Grasp ->AccAccHealHealHealRechg
02) Tar Patch ->RechgRechgRechg
04) Darkest Night ->EndRdxEndRdxEndRdx
06) Equip Robot ->EndRdx
08) Hover ->FlyFlyFly
10) Swift ->Run
12) Protector Bots ->AccEndRdxDmgDmgDmgDisDur
14) Fly ->EndRdxFlyFlyFly
16) Shadow Fall ->EndRdxEndRdxEndRdx
18) Hurdle ->Jump
20) Stamina ->EndModEndModEndMod
22) Assault ->EndRdx
24) Tactics ->EndRdxEndRdxTH_BufTH_BufTH_Buf
26) Assault Bot ->AccDmgDmgDmgDisDurDisDur
28) Petrifying Gaze ->AccAccRechg
30) Fearsome Stare ->AccAccRechg
32) Upgrade Robot ->RechgRechgRechgEndRdx
35) Group Fly ->EndRdxEndRdx
38) Dark Servant ->RechgRechgRechgTH_DeBufTH_DeBufAcc
However Stamina can be taken later, and if you can I would plan to take Recall friend as when going through lifts bots can and do get stuck more frequently than is nice. Being able to recall them is much better than unsummoning and respawning them. Slots are approximate, and again would be how I would slot the build. Shadow fall could do with more slots as could darkest night. I don't normally take Health, it offers a low boost that I find if I have more manuverability I can generally avoid some foes thus not needing the extra regen.
This is my current build:
01) Battle Drones ->AccAccDmgDmgDmg
01) Twilight Grasp ->AccHealHealHealRechg
02) Tar Patch ->RechgRechgRechg
04) Darkest Night ->TH_DeBufTH_DeBufTH_DeBufEndRdxEndRdx
06) Recall Friend ->IntRdx
08) Equip Robot ->EndRdx
10) Assault ->EndRdx
12) Protector Bots ->AccDmgDmgDmgEndRdxDisDur
14) Teleport ->EndRdxRangeRangeRange
16) Shadow Fall ->EndRdxEndRdxEndRdx
18) Tactics ->EndRdxEndRdxTH_BufTH_BufTH_Buf
20) Fearsome Stare ->AccAccRechgRechg
22) Hover ->Fly
24) Swift ->Run
26) Assault Bot ->AccDmgDmgDmgDisDurDisDur
28) Hurdle ->Jump
30) Stamina ->EndModEndModEndMod
32) Upgrade Robot ->RechgRechgRechgEndRdx
35) Petrifying Gaze ->AccRechgRechgHold
38) Dark Servant ->AccRechgRechgRechgImmobImmob
Hover is only in due to lag and TP not doing so well together. Though with that in mind it can be useful in battle with some mobs getting me out of AoE range. -
I forgot all about it sorry, ended up doing the first respec on my defender instead. And generally leveling madly.
-
Agree with much of what has been said, I personally prefer PvE over PvP, but do partkae occasionally. In PvE there is a progression in PvP there isn't I'm not good enough to worry about reputation so that isn't a reward. PvP needs a reward that affects PvP or something that is visible elsewhere in the game, TG's idea for rank auras would work.
As to RV ask me after I7 hits at the moment its pointless for anyone to say how good it'll be as we only have an idea and some screen shots, and like many things in the game it may well be horrendously flawed.
PvP as a whole is difficult as there just aren't enough people on any of the EU servers who prefer PvP over PvE to fill up a single zone let alone 3-4. And unless we gain a lot of players I fail to see how that will ever change, the PvP isn't comparable to many other games that do it better, for me if I want PvP I'll go back to GW or WoW both IMO do PvP better. -
Though Bad Cop was created with a team duo in mind, duoing with another kin/* defender, she is now more normally duoing with a scrapper and more often recently in small teams. Its a steep learning curve to get buffs up when they're needed, and to maximise the heals. Below is my proposed build, currently at level 27, but as I will probably attemp the first respec tomorrow I feel it is a good time to find out other peoples opinions to the build.
01) Transfusion ->Acc x2 Heal x3
01) Dark Blast ->Acc x2 Dmg x3
02) Siphon Power ->Acc x2 Rechg x3
04) Repel -> EndRdx x3

16) Assault -> EndRdx x2
18) Inertial Reduction ->Jump x2
20) Tactics -> EndRdx x2 TH_Buf x3
22) Grant Invisibility -> EndRdx x2
24) Recall Friend ->IntRdx x1
26) Transference ->Acc x2Rechg x1 EndMod x3
28) Tenebrous Tentacles ->Acc x2 TH_DeBuf x2 Immob x1

49) Teleport -> EndRdx x2 Range x3
I was going to drop repel when I respecced but I've decided that I like it,anyway if I did drop it I'd just take it later as I personally thinks its a useful power. Attacks I have no idea about, I don't like gaining agro but I don't have anything to do with the slots or powers, I need to take something.
Suggestions, comments etc... -

With the amount of replacements it might be better to pencil in a 2nd team. Or two teams of six.
[/ QUOTE ] I was thinking about this and i came up with an idea which i told Matakoshi about.
If we do end up with lots of people having too teams would be a good idea but to add extra spice both teams could race each other. Both start the tf at the same time and to the victor the spoils(and bragging rights of course
)
[/ QUOTE ]
If that would be the case you can count me out again. I'm all for TFs and I enjoy most of them but just trying to rip through them as fast as possible, Just isn't fun. Especially as it will most likely be Facilitator's first try at this one. -
Warburg no Focussed accuracy, one acc in attacks not certain to hit. Swap one recharge with an accuracy. Or wait and see how you do in Recluses Victory before working out the build...
Heck what do I know I don't enjoy PvP much. -
Unless you don't have room in your build? Or aren't taking hasten? Siphon Speed and IR are both useful powers that most Kinetics will take for the usefulness anyway. Personally I don't like Super Speed I might take it but it will be a throwaway level 49 power if anything, Teleport of Fly has far more use and I don't get either power as part of my normal powers.
-
Resilience is an always on power it increases your resistance and more importantly removes the chance of disorient. IMO Its a must have power but I tend to take it late level 30+
MoG is a power that increases all your resistance and defense, to everything except Psi and Toxic. It also boosts the end recovery at a cost of all but 10% (IIRC) of you health. It doesn't stop you getting hit and auto attack powers such as caltrops still get through. While your in MoG you cannot be healed or heal, so those 10% health runs out fast. As an Oh [censored] power MoG is good as a useful power that fits well into the regen set its pants. On top of which by the time you get MoG (38) you will be facing more mobs that have psionics as a damage type this will lead you to your DOOOOM!
Go for Resilience any day over MoG. -
If you don't need stamina in Sirens/Warburg are you certain to need it at 47?

At 24, Kin/Dark
I have Siphon Speed: 2x ACC 3x RecRdx 1x EndRdx (I'll spec out of that extra slot once I have transference)
I also have IR, currently just a jump speed.
In zones below my level I use SS, whenever its up so I can with hasten stack three briefly. IR when travelling is on auto so it kicks in as soon as its up. In zones at my level I pick my targets some I avoid, Tsoo Yellow inks mainly, others I know I can get away from with ease so siphon them. I miss about once every 20 shots so I don't have an issue with it. In higher zones (and currently teaming with a scrapper in bricks) I either wait until I'm in SK range or just use IR.
I will eventually probably get Super Speed or Teleport but neither are urgent. I might respec into Leaping pool as acrobatics would be nice, or I might spend time leveling Good Cop who is my other Kin/* they can then both buff each other with ID removing the need for Acrobatics, plus buffing each other with Speed Boost means stacking siphon speed gets up to 4/5 instances. -
Basically I have never got very far with a tank, I generally prefer scrappers, however now I have access to a lvl24 Kin/Dark defender for teaming with I have finally rolled Rock Walloper.
Can anyone either give me some tips on creating a good pre GA stone/axe or perhaps even a build. -
My current rough build. Currently at lvl 33 so the higher powers I'm not 100% sure about and after 41 may well change entirely. Its not a PvP build by any means but I find that in PvP I can hold my own. In a team I can handle my self and in solo I'm not too bad. Thats open PvP not arena.
I have kept 2x ACC in attacks because on my DM/Rgn I do an awful lot of exemping down, I see no reason why that would change just because this is a different character so the extra accuracy will be good. So far I'm more than happy with the regen side especially as I have yet to fully slot integration or dull pain, while I sometimes have issues with health, three clickies and integration are as good as it's likely to get. End I have no problems with unless fighting end draining mobs, and even then the sheer amount of damage I can do helps.
Parry I love (currently only has four slots) it really helps me survive in the middle of large mobs, and as most of the time I tank for my duo partner (Kin defender) I need someting that recharges quickly to grab the attention of the various mobs.

As I said the last 3 powers are not 100% and in effect are fillers until I see how things go. The regen IMO is spot on though for pure PvP resilience is better 3 slotted without tough I doubt you'll see a big boost from it, with tough it is quite respectable.
-edit-
Only thing I would say on the OPs build is swap a slot from Reconstruction into Tactics three recharge reductions in Reconstruction is overkill as the recharge caps with 2 and a bit. Tactics is a bit of an end hog. And while regen doesn't really need the extra end redx due to quick regen and stamina personally I would always slot end rdx in toggles as then you know that what power you have is for killing things. -
Pop me down too, was fun last time and I guess it'll be fun again.
Not sure on the character but either Facilitator (BS/Rgn 33) or Lost Ninja (DM/Rgn 50)
Timing anytime, but would prefer earlier rather than later as I get sleepy after about 8pm (BST).
Oh and I have TS too, don't have Skype. I suspect if we ask nicely we can find a TS server. *nudges MaX* -
Nah DM/Rgn is lost better...
Or BS/Rgn...
As MaX said */Rgn is teh best! -

First HO for me too, thanks to Xanthus and co for the raid was fun.
Course if it wasn't for us pre-emptivly dying right at the start we would still have failed.So thanks to Lt Keith for TPing me into the blob, twice and Aubergine Man.
