I ask because I was doing that mission last night, must have died three or four times, bloody fire and ice pets! Wouldn't have been too bad if the mission area wasn't located a mile away from the hospital area and hover or sprint are so slow.

With the current engine I doubt its possible.
On the copyright issue, in American law I believe there is a rule that states if you don't go out to protect your IP you can lose it. Which is why Marvel took NCSoft to courts they had to otherwise NCSoft could just turn round and steal the IP. Which is one of the reasons that copyright issues and patenting things in the US are so mad.
If/when it does become possible there are other sets that would use the same technology that would be fun. Grappling Hooks to name one that I know has been asked for. -

And if they drop 30 levels from the game we all can cap out at level 20. Aprat from my first year of play when I probably averaged 10 hours a day or more, I am a very casual player. I might average an hour a day at the moment, though that might work out as five hours one day in five. Today I managed to get from 36-38 & 37-38 on two characters, just running in a team. Yes it was freaks (2nd hero respec to be precise), but unless you can only play 1 hour a week or something stupid like that (and if you spent more time playing and less time whining about poor XP) I can't see how you can't get to fifty in under a year.
Now I could be misremembering this but haven't you said many times in the past that you get bored at 20+ and start again or start an alt? Could that be why you fail to get to fifty and not in fact anything to do with the lack of XP?
Besides why should everyone else be penalized because a very small minority can only play the game extremely rarely?
And if you want to suggest changes to the levelling curve unneeded as they may be perhaps starting a thread for that suggestion would be better than going wholly off topic in this thread? -
Which is why NCSoft won. But the reason why they stopped people using the offline character creator was because it could be used to create copyright characters and they would have no control over its use.
Swinging powerset has been said in the past that the engine won't support it. And TBH I expect the same is true for a stretchy powerset. Unless you want animations that look like Dalasim from street fighter...
I also suspect that certain powersets will be avoided because they're too specific, eg a powerset that used a lot of teleport moves (Nightcrawler-esq) would probably not be added, not perhaps because of the link to Nightcrawler but because the set would be very much an almost signature set. Yes super strength could be super man but it could also be 100 other hero types. (IMO) -
I'd get it done in henna... much easier.
Oh and I want something that could look like a nemesis automaton... made in stamp or something. -

A game is meant to be fun. By and large, it still suceeds in that.

I may be jaded by my length of time in the game, but to me, less risk due to the minimal death penalty means less "rush", which equates to less fun and thus a shorter game lifespan for newer players.
CO has a great death penalty just implemented. Shame I can't actually mention what it is though as it'd be a great way of handling things.

I play a game called Bejewelled Twist, its one of the frantic Popcap Games titles that are insanely time consuming. So as you continue to make matches you increase your XP... wait did I say XP?... score multiplier. When you die... wait... fail to make a match you lose that bonus and have to start again.

I think their schedule is still a little disrupted over the shifting of the MA - after GR comes out, it should get back to normal.
And don't forget that pretty much the whole team will be focusing on GR right now - they were probably busy with it even while the MA was being developed, as the MA didn't need the full range of devs to get it up and running - like BAB and his animators, Castle and his power team, and War Witch wouldn't really be needed that much for creating the MA system, so they'd be free to work on GR.

Well their project management must suck then. If they knew that GR was going to be pushed in quarter 4 '09 quarter 1 '10 then their project management guys should have moved something originally slated for i16/17 (which according to Posi is already being worked on) up to fit into i15/i16 to give us something to do while waiting for GR. Me I'm 100% sure that I'll get GR, mainly as I have been waiting since i7. But I wonder how many people will look at the frankly poor i15 and just not bother coming back? -
Me TBH I'd return to i3 debt levels but start at level 10 like now. With rested XP debt is fairly meaningless, and it is supposed to be there for a reason. At the moment its so trivial they might as well remove it entirely.

Seriously, CoH is made to be played with just about any AT combination. It usually comes down to the player, not what they play.

It wouldn't break the game because to implement such a system with CoH you'd pretty much have to re-write the game from scratch.

When I'm personally thinking about it yes they would be in sync.But 8x PCs plus associated electric and internet bills are currently out of my price range. Plus I'd probably want to hard ware box for the better latency. Currently I software box 2x and have experimented with three (2x subbed 1x trial) but my network doesn't like it.
And TBH I would imagine if you can get all 8 players on VoIP then syncing up AM etc wouldn't be that hard. -

Personally I agree, but its not really enough to tide us over until GR, and I for one will most likely stop subscribing prior to GR, I wonder how many others will do so also?
A slightly more filling i15 would help retain players until GR/i16 both of which should satisfy more. -

What happens when you face against a mob with a lot of AoEs/mezzes? Can a team of fire/rad really survive anything powerfull and unexpected?
They're strong but imo nowhere near the ideal/unbeatable team.

Speaking as a player of controllers, specifically 2x Fire/Kin & 2x Mind/Rad (I duo both so have some experience of controller power in groups) I'd have to say with set bonuses and the -Tohit (Radiation Infection / Smoke) If they can hit me through all that they deserve to win. Plus AM gives some Mezz resistance 8x would give quite a bit. Plus if you go for the Psionic Mastery you get a clicky mez protection, which with 8x AM would be perma.
According to Mids:
8x AM will give 1384% Mez Resistance (Hold, Stun, Sleep, Immob)
Indomitable Will (Psionic Mastery) gives 10 Protection (Hold, Stun, Sleep, Confuse, Fear)
Indomitable Will is perma with 2x Recharge SO
AM is perma with 1x recharge SO
Both without hasten.
Radiation Infection x8 gives a -200% ToHit Bonus.
Smoke gives a further -40%.
Not ever had the pleasure to be in a fire/rad super team, but I reckon there would be very little they couldn't do. But to perhaps change build...:
5x Fire/Rad (minimum to easily perma AM without hasten).
1x Bubble Defender
1x Inv/WP/Stone Tank
1x Fire/?? Blaster or a Kheldian.
Done an awful lot of theory crafting on this in the past because I can't afford to run more than 2 accounts at once. -

Mine is similar, BS/Rgn -> Claws/WP. Plus most of my early controllers have been usurped at some point.
