    Which leaves you with Fire and Earth. Fire does more damage and just is faster, However Earth neuters you to no end. Best actual Hard controls in the game IMO...tons of tools to lock stuff down. From what it sounds like you want to accomplish your better off with earth. Plants may not sit well with you however aside from Illusions plant is possible the most fun control set in the game, But yeah earth.
  2. The only reason this is even a discussion is because of the lvl difference, if they were the same lvl, I'd go with plant. It visually looks better and has more tools...I just dont want to do 1-20 anymore even though with inhernt fitness pool its less brutal. I think I made the fire dom for a alternate farmer, however....that changed because brutes just do it better.

Basically I have a lvl 7 plant/fire that I like....however I have a lvl 24 fire/psy that I like as well and not sure which to discontinue, I dont really have time to play them both with only about 3 hours of playtime a night. What I'm trying to get out of the toon, is be TF friendly and also be a good soloer if need be. What say you?

  5. Nother thing so I don't clutter the forum with multiple post. Why do people take the ice mastery app over earth or fire? And what's the optimal incarnate route to go for a ill/cold?
  6. Decided just to roll and lvl the Cold, got to 23 in one night. Not bad, the decision was based on how I had to look outside the storm set for -regen, which doesn't allow me to get something else opposed to cold. I've looked at alot of builds and none of them include aidself, but to my surprise contains snow storm, why is that? Does sleet not do the knockdown freezing rain does? Would make snow storm seem not needed if so.

    I have an Ill/Cold which I absolutely adore. It's not a killing machine like Ill/Storm, but its a fantastic team combo. Yes it has great buffs and debuffs, but not near the killing potential of /storm. Also you could be an AV killer pre i20 but epecially now with the -regen from diamagnetic interface ill/storm will be a fun anti AV build.
    Same thing I said, however i didn't know how good ill/cold was....IMO aside from the neg regen portion ill/storm has it beat. What's this diamagnetic interface, and what does it do, I left right before i20 so I don't know any of the new stuff.
  9. Basically I have a ill/storm on pinnacle that I enjoyed alot. My only issue with him was the fact it was hard to take down AV's. Now I'm on virtue and I want a troller and all my sg mates keep saying ill/cold and that ill/storm sucks and storm has no synergy with illusions (I disagree). Now my problem is low lvl illusion trolling is brutal, but if ill/cold is leaps and bounds above ill/storm I don't want to waste money to transfer it no matter how much I enjoy the combo. Any help? Thx in advance.
  10. Yes I could have taken this to the pvp forums but all you'll get there is lol@ MM's in pvp :-|. So I figured I'd ask this question in a MM friendly environment lol. I have history with TA, my first 50 was a nin/TA that did pretty good in pvp back in the day with regular IO's so I rerolled it in the form of Thugs/TA on my new server but I'm torn between keeping it or scratching it for a Thugs/therm. Which would be better for pvp, Rv mostly?

    DM/SR Questions

    1. Is Midnight grasp worth taking?...I have it at 32 and its okay but as a lvl 32 power it doesnt move me.

    2. Whats a good attack chain if I do take MG out?

    3. Is getting AID self still needed to pvp or solo an AV?

    4. Is soul drain as good as build up, better or worse

    5. How does this build deal out damage at end game IO'd out and in PVP?
