  2. Hmm...

I don't think I have a favorite enemy group. Oh wait, Warriors. Definitely Warriors. They hit hard and have a tendency to rabbit at the first sign of trouble, but they don't have any annoying tricks like other factions do.

And then I guess the Carnies would come in second. I wouldn't call them a favorite, because of all the phasing and whatnot, but they do squish easily enough that I don't hate fighting them.
  3. I liked it, too. It was nice to see Watson portrayed as a competent partner to Holmes rather than the bumbling sidekick. And I thought Downey's Sherlock had the right combination of intensity and jerkwad-ness.

    Immersion

We need more data. This experiment must be replicated several times to ensure that the results are always the same. For science.

Slots that only work when you're level 50. If you're playing at that level all the time, then that's an excellent bonus. If you do a lot of stuff that requires exemping, then the Alpha Slot is not so useful.

Thank god for that. If I worked there and they'd blown up the box without checking, I think I'd have to request a transfer or quit. I couldn't handle the thought of going to work at a building that was covered in exploded kitten.
  11. Air America was one of my favorite movies as a kid (I didn't quite understand the whole drug smuggling thing at the time) and this is one of my favorite scenes. "Excuse me, is that an Uzi?"
  12. They could've at least asked politely that you refrain from using it, possibly with an explanation for why. Kicking someone for breaking a rule they didn't know existed is a pretty douchy thing to do.

Because princesses don't sell anymore, regardless of whether the movies they're in are poorly written. Princesses are Out! Bad writing is still In! The Hollywood Execu-Cycle continues! Hurrah!!!

Tangled is a movie that caught my eye. I don't usually go for the Disney princessey movies because they're far too saccharine for my tastes, but this one looks like it has potential.
  14. Chuck Norris has no chin. His beard conceals a growing list of Chuck Norris facts.

If I remember correctly, I was in third grade when Mighty Morphin Power Rangers started. I liked it for the first season (because of all the karate fighting stuff, I guess), but then when I started fourth grade I couldn't stand the show anymore.

I'm not sure why I had the sudden change of heart, either. I just couldn't watch it anymore without noticing the glaring stupidity of the characters. Why did the Rangers summon the individual Zords? They were just going to combine into the Megazord straight off, why not summon it fully assembled? Why were the Rangers caught off guard whenever Rita made her monsters grow when she did it in every fight? Why did the Megazord have that alternate gun platform mode that was so weak they never bothered using it? Why did the monsters stand around doing nothing while the Rangers wasted five minutes assembling their giant, a**-kicking robot? Did it not occur to any of them that the assembly period would be a good time to cripple the Megazord by stopping one of its legs or arms from attaching, or smashing its head in?

    Smash vs Lethal

Vhazilok zombies are very weak to lethal damage, and I think Banished Pantheon zombies are weak to lethal, to.
  18. I'm kinda mixed on the Incarnate stuff. It's nice to have something for my 50s to work toward, but kinda frustrating that the best way to get into the system is through TFs. I'm not often on during the optimal TF times, and it seems like people are only interested in doing Master runs (I don't want to be the guy who screws up someone's master run). I'd start TFs of my own, but I don't really know them well enough to attempt to lead a group through one (with the exception of Imperious, since that one is pretty straight forward).

I hope that the devs will come up with some story arcs that reward Incarnate components upon completion, or make components a reward option for existing arcs (such as Hero's Hero). That would be a nice way for players like me to earn the Incarnate stuff without having the grindy feel of doing tip/scanner/paper missions ad nauseum.
  19. I know that people want to be safe and everything here, but didn't anyone stop and think that maybe a robot that small wouldn't have the internal volume to contain enough explosives or poison to be a threat?
  20. Bold move considering that Raven probably isn't well known outside comics circles.

Also, ZOMG CW is encouraging witchcraft!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  21. How about:
    Scandium Sorceress
    Mercury Magician
    Cobalt Conjurer

I've done a combination of this and the lava. His clones don't always spawn on the catwalk circle around the dome thingy. When I'd go looking for the ones that didn't, Trapdoor would inevitably follow me and get stuck in the lava.
  23. Not bad, although I prefer his Holiday Clusterf*ck song from last year.
  24. The chemistry is there, but you didn't really see it until the around the last ten minutes of the episode.

I don't really see it surviving past the first season.
You may be right, but I want to see the other episodes before I give up on the show.

This is definitely one case where they should absolutely avoid trying to be a carbon copy of the British original. UKTG is so dependent on the personalities and conflicts between Clarkson, May and Hammond that they couldn't possibly replicate it with a different set of hosts. They need to focus on what makes the American hosts unique (and they really didn't do that much in the first episode).

The one area where USTG should be exactly like UKTG is the car reviews. They were conspicuously nice in the premier episode, although they didn't really do a full review of any of the cars. Hopefully they'll be more merciless in future episodes.
