On the one hand, this looks ****ing awesome. On the other hand, once this is released in theaters, we're going to have people who think Lincoln was really a vampire hunter.

Interesting and little known fact: Sith armor does not include an athletic cup, and there is no known form of lightsaber combat that focuses on the protection of one's gentiles.

Even more hilarious when you time it right and use it as your death blow. I just picture some Imperial officer having to explain to a soldier's next of kin that he was the recipient of a fatal kick in the balls.

I've been looking forward to this movie for a while. I really hope it plays somewhere close to me, 'cause I've got to see that action on the big screen.

George Orwell was quite opinionated on the subject of how to brew a proper cup of tea. He wrote an essay on the subject, which contains eleven guidelines for brewing and consuming tea. None of which I would follow. Especially the part about drinking unstrained tea.

Quote:That the person suggesting tea has a sophisticated palate and is more health conscious than a coffee drinker? So there you go, coffee, means sex. Now, given that coffee and tea are pretty arch nemeisisisisee' to each other, our logical conclusion was..if Coffee is referring to the more normal, hetero 'getting it on'..well, you can draw conclusions about what asking someone over for Tea means.

Probably toward the end of his career, when they realize that they should've given him an award a long time ago. And it'll be for his most recent role, regardless of how good it actually was compared to his earlier work.

No nominations for Pixar this year? Guess Cars 2 really sucked.

Quote:But France is where the coq au vin is! Coq au vin is awesome! If I'm in France again and I'm hungry I'll do the same thing I did the last time I was there. Get in the car and drive to
1. Italy or Spain where I can get real food.
2. Germany where I can get brats and beer.
3. Denmark where I can get a coffee, a dooby, and 18 dozen donuts.
4. England where I can get authentic fish and chips.
No I'm not a fan of fritters and craps. -
Only podcast I listen to is the Roosterteeth (formerly Drunk Tank) podcast. It's basically the guys who work on Red vs. Blue sitting around a table and shooting the breeze for an hour and a half. I've been listening for only a few months, though, and I need to go through the archived podcasts.

Children listening to smart people, good. Children listening to smart people who make liberal use of profanity, not so good. Little kids are like parrots, you know.

I got into The Non-Adventures of Wonderella about a month ago. No matter how many times I read it, this one never fails to crack me up.
I'm also a big fan of Misfile, which is totally Arcanaville's fault. -

I got this totally awesome Serenity t-shirt and a two terabyte hard drive. No more juggling games for me!

The Current War is what popped out for me. It'd be interesting to see if a movie about the early years of electricity could do well.

I like that they've been filling in the Queen/Mayor's back-story. Hopefully whatever her reason for hating Snow White will have more depth than Snow being pretty.

I was on the fence about it (seemed waaay too cheesy) until Carter got ******* out by his Jeep. God that was funny. And the anime sequence at the end almost had me in tears. Only thing that would've made it better is if Carl had transformed into a giant mecha.

Blake had some good moments, funny (Boom!) and serious (the arthritis thing), and he was part of the funniest seasons of MASH, but I've got to go with Potter as my favorite CO of the 4077th. Potter was comfortable with his authority and he'd been around the block a few times. He knew when to give his people free reign and when to crack the whip. And I love the fact that he didn't take crap from anybody, be they superior officers, ferret-faced subordinates, or deranged CIA operatives.

High Road to China. It might be hard to find, but it's a fun adventure flick. And everyone needs exposure to Tom Selleck's glorious 'stache.
Born in East LA. I think it was Cheech Marin's first solo film, and it's hilarious. I'd recommend watching Up In Smoke first (yes yes, 1978, I know), but Born in East LA is a good into to Cheech. -
