Thanks for the info. I ended up starting 2 Brutes: a SS/WP and a DM/WP. I figured I compare the two and see how things go.

After 3 years or so of playing heroes, I've decided to join the other side. After asking around, many players have recommended playing a Brute as my first Villain. I also got some advice to try either Super Strength/Will Power or Super Strength/Invulnerability as my first attempt at redside. I was just wondering what you folks thought of that. Is a SS/WP or SS/Invuln Brute good choice for a first time redsider?

I have played with both WP and Invuln powersets blueside on both Tanks and Scrappers, and I have noticed that WP seems to struggle a little more than Invuln against the very high end, late game content. Is this also true redside?
