giving players power over other players has NEVER ended well in any game ever.
[/ QUOTE ]
I can't think of one time in the past twenty two years of gaming where it has.
[/ QUOTE ]Giving players power over other players should always be confined to PvP matches. -
Well, I guess for lack of a better solution, I'd better get 200 tickets together and then contact a GM if I don't see the Vanguard Costume/Weapon Pack available at the Ticket Vendor... thanks for the quick replies!
Also, to NCSoft, please add a way (perhaps through a Badge??) for us to tell which Unlockables we've already bought? -
Sorry, I think you're right, and I think that was the first one I've unlocked, however, as I'm not sure, do you know how can I check which weapon-packs I already unlocked, and also, how much does the Vanguard pack cost?
-
And that's silly because....?
I actually want to be able to introduce a new Macro into the player's power-tray, just so that macro could be set to something like "/targetcustom <name-of-Boss>" for when I put the player in an open-door map and they have to go hunt for a Boss... you know? -
Long story short, I had them on the Test Servers, I don't on the Live Servers.
So, I went and played a few story-arcs, got a bunch of tickets and unlocked some custom weapon packs. I didn't look, but I know I have the Ruularu Sword already but not the Talsorian Blades (I think the Ruularu pack costs more than the ones with the Talsorian Blades in it, but there were no other Weapon Packs in the list anymore).
So... can anyone answer me the next 2 questions:- Is there a way to tell what Unlockables we've already unlocked?
- If the Talosrian Blades are supposed to come in the Vanguard_Custom_Weapon packs (because I think I got that one), are there any bugs that I'm just missing regarding unlocking these weapon models?
EDIT :: Thanks to Dr_Mechano for the correction about the Vanguard pack! - Is there a way to tell what Unlockables we've already unlocked?
-
We just got an SDK for a game that no developer in their right mind would even commit to having an SDK in and people are already complaining because they cannot do the things that weren't even the intended focus of the FIRST VERSION of the tool?!

Finally got home and re-published my arc on Live.

Freedom has more hardware to support the larger populations... updating this hardware is taking more time than our other servers.
We have made the decision not to hold launch for the other 10 North American servers and 4 European servers just for Freedom. We are working diligently on Freedom, at this time I have no estimated availability. I'll update you all as we know more.

Now this makes sense. Why don't you guys put out this kind of direct information more often?
[/ QUOTE ]
That kind of information is actually quite obvious to anyone who has played MMO's for several years... more populated Servers are almost always going to be the ones with the biggest issues when rolling out new expansions. -
As you may or may not know, this issue is MAJOR in comparison with other past issues. The amount of work that has already gone into it, as far as I can tell, is probably equivalent to something like I6 and the new gameplay mechanics City of Villain introduced.
If the fact that we're getting all of this for free, and people can still play on servers other than Freedom means nothing to you, so much so that you feel cheated out of a few hours of play... well, all I can say is try and check out the situation with other MMO's and other expansions that people are getting! -
First thing's first, Luerim, lets discuss the most important issue here. Our cats look too much alike, your Zala (although probably much younger) is a copy of my semi-feral Zorro. Their face-mask is the same and I'm willing to bet Zala grows up to be quite the Opera Singer, especially when hungry (for either food or snuggles).
Secondly, I can't thank you enough for your post about the art of Peeling Onions! This is also how I feel about writing stories, and I hope my arcs reflect that.
So... in summation: *meow*... and good job, thanks for posting! -
I have updated the Arc to include a secret objective in the last mission for those who find the last Boss fight too difficult. Please re-test the Arc if you've enjoyed it in the past, and send feedback, especially if its too easy.
-
<ul type="square">SPOILER ALERT :: { If it's with Sister Psyche at the end-mission, I think you'll find it's fixed. }[/list]
-
OK... so after some comments and feedback, I re-balanced those pesky carrot eating mind-controlling creatures of the dark to no longer be too much of a pain...
The story remains untouched (almost) but the last mission is a bit more focused (I hope).
Please continue to test and comment on your findings, however, I would like (if possible) to receive comments through email or on the forum rather than simple in-game tells.
Enjoy! -
The Arc is in the process of going major fixes due to an odd bug that would spawn the last mission's ally without her enemy-group around her (or get them mysteriously killed) and therefore render her an uncompletable goal.
I'm also planning to re-visit the story itself and perhaps even add either more goals, or perhaps even more missions. -
Which is why I'm begging for them to never let it go and to always keep making it better.

Seems my first attempt at testing an arc ended with it being unusable from the "Level Range Invalid" bug even though all the enemy group is available from 1 to 54. I'll try again when I have more time to fiddle with it later this week.

Hey Turbo, glad to see you're back in the game!Nasty bug, hope it gets fixed soon.
I'll definitely be entering a story-arc, but which one to choose is the problem... -
Can't wait to get home and start the download and while it's downloading, enter MA/AE on the Test Server to work on my 2nd Story-Arc!!!!
NCSoft has given us the means to make our own Arch-Nemesis... nay... they gave us the ability to have our friends create our Arch-Nemesis for us and we can create one for them, and then swap and play!
Please NCSoft... if there's any feature in the game that we the playerbase can urge you to never abandon and always continue to develop, let it be the MA/AE systems! -

A piercing shriek came at me from above and as I looked up, I could see the Wailer that grabbed me disappear into a Rikti Portal just before a rain of Rikti Conscripts poured out all around me... and THEN....
-
...the earth rocked underneath my feet, a few cracks appeared in the pavement and out of the ground Zombies started to appear... and hand out of nowhere grabbed me by my collar and then....
-
...I came face-to-face with a Rikti Death Rider accompanied by a pack of Rikti Monkies, and they all started to sing the 1st act of La_Bohème, with the Death Rider as the tenor... I looked for a way out.. but then....
-
And then I noticed that Moderator8 was hot on my tail... I made a left turn... and then....

I don't really respond to many Human-only threads, but after seeing the amount of work you put into your character description-page... WOW man, I bet you really love your PB and I envy you for the creative talent, tenacity and enthusiasm you display. Great Work!!!
