Awesome... Looks like Jack E. is still patrolling the boards.

Yup, that's his new email, click on it and try it out
<rant>Seriously speaking though, I've always said that canceling our subscriptions is a very effective way to send a message to the powers-that-be, but that message can be sent only once. Coming back and whining about it, especially if you're trying to convince others to leave too to support your claim, in my opinion, detracts from the whole case.
Players should also remember that this isn't *their* game. These days, even console games aren't "safe" from nerfs and changes post-sale since through the Internet they can be updated with the nerfs, sometimes without the player even knowing about it.
So yes... if you're seriously complaining about issues in games... I can offer nothing but LoLz@u, and such.</rant> -
Sheesh you guys... Q/V's aren't much of a bother... at least not if you're not in an-all-Kheldian team!
However, using the bind is a great idea, I've been using it (or something like it) for a long time now on both my Lv50 Kheldians, with very satisfying results. -
That's weird. I know my overall recharge times have decreased with every +recharge set bonus I slotted across my forms, at least by using the monitor-attribute command to display the values, but I also use Hasten so perhaps things aren't truly working as designed...
-
First off, Peacebringers and Warshades are Kheldians, but Peacebringers are not Warshades. So, what you've built is a Warshade, not a Peacebringer even though you mention starting out with a PB.
As for the build itself, there's nothing wrong with it, however, I would leave Nova slotted with just EndMod and use the slots elsewhere. I would also pick a different slotting for Dark Extraction, one that would emphasize their recharge over their damage because I think having two pets is usually better than just one pet doing more damage.
Unchain Essence could use some love, especially since coupled with Gravitic Emanation it makes a good tool for stunning Bosses.
Eclipse can be turned into an Endurance recovery tool and since each undefeated enemy around you contributes to your +DmgRes, having a higher +DmgRes slotting in Eclipse isn't as important as it is for your shields or for Dwarf. Speaking of Dwarf, you could frankenslot it for better +DmgResist and better EndMod/EndRdx values and this can make a difference in how survivable you are in Dwarf form.
Orbiting Death is mostly useless if you're not in Human-form enough to take advantage of it and when I am in Human-form on my TriFormShade, I usually find Inky Aspect a lot more useful than Orbiting Death. Finally, since this is a TriForm build with emphasis on Nova, having such wonderful recovery tools such as Stygian Circle and Eclipse, I think the Fitness could be skipped entirely, mainly because your Human-form attack-chain is not going to actually require you to stay in Human-form for long periods of time.
On my TriFormShade I find that I swoop enemies with Nova, hit them with the Nova blasts, followed by Gravitic Emanations, then a well-placed Gravity Well that usually defeats a Minion so that I can use Unchain Essence, Stygian Circle, Eclipse and Dark Extraction (whenever they're up) and shift to Dwarf for a fun melee-centric fight... not that there's much left to fight me, especially not if I mired my Nova before the fights.
Be advised, all of my comments are based on my playstyle and experience, and YMMV. -
Indeed... the Fake Nose power is quite annoying when MJ shoots that plastic-looking nose thing at you... oh wait, I may be confused because of those Zombie Invasions...

Or perhaps when I start enjoying Scrappers

I wanna make a character, call it Revolution, and have the Dance/Dance power-sets!
Also... a Micheal Jackson character... with Dance/Regen powers!!!! -

...I have that, "I want to be in your face beating the snot out of you and survive this" (or some random change for the ranged at's)
[/ QUOTE ]
Well, simply adapt this concept to "I'll mez you first and then jump in your face and there's nothing you can do to stop me... *ZOINKS!*, the mez broke and you're not defeated, time to jump back and re-mez you before I kick you in the chin again!", and you'll be just fine -
The thing is... there is no final battle. Neither Heroes, nor Villains truly win anything but the ability to fight another day, and if they lose, they get to inspire someone else to fight another day, or be forgotten and sink to anonymity.

About Controllers and Dominators, there are several tricks to them, for sure. The best one of them is to make the switch in your mind from "I'm going to kill these guys" to "I'm going to torment these guys so much that they just give up and either run away or die of sheer exhaustion".
Seriously, CrowdControl-centric classes are all about a war of attrition. Some love it (myself included) some don't. -

I hate controllers/Doms.. So I don't play them.. Just because I died a billion times with the Dom I rolled doesn't mean I'm going I should cancel my account.

This discussion is amusing, especially when Venture and Talen take things so seriously...
-
Indeed there is a lot more incentive for Warshades to shift mid-fight than there is for Peacebringers. Even so, my PB still shifts quite a bit mid-fight specifically because some tricks require that, like the double foot-stomp for example.

You left out earning a spot on people's ignore lists...
[/ QUOTE ]
True that, but then again, I don't use ignore lists, so it's only natural I'd forget that -
Semper, seriously... there's no Victory to be had here. The fact that Justaris came in and IBTL'ed should be the writing on the wall right there for you. This "crusade" will get you nothing more than a few blocked thread (at best), or a Forum-ban and possibly a cancellation of those 3 free months.
Oh, and on top of that, the Kheldian community may even splinter some more, and being the cause for something like that doesn't look good on your resume unless you're applying for a job with Lord Recluse
Oh... and IBTL+1 -
Cosmic Balance affecting the forms is a big thing now because if you're in a team that supports your PB by giving it more +RES you'd be able to survive more offense in all of your forms. The same goes if Cosmic Balance gives you more +DMG, all of your forms will do more damage.
This means that a Kheldian must be aware of the team make-up before making decisions about which form to take and sometimes, the bonuses from Cosmic Balance are high enough so that sticking with one form, even for a TriFormer, is not only viable but better for the whole team.
Trouble with Cosmic Balance is that to gain certain bonuses from it, you have to be on the right teams with a team make-up that sets up the required bonuses. In essence, if you want to "build" a high-damage tank or a really resistant blaster, you must not only build your own Kheldian in such a way, but you must also hand-pick the right AT's for the proper team make-up and more importantly, keep them around you, because Cosmic Balance bonuses disappear if you're too far from your team!
On my PB, I shift mid-combat a lot when I solo, but on most teams I do not have to, unless it's one of my AKSG teams where we're all Kheldians so each fight, someone else (with Dwarf, or Lightform/Eclipse) may tank and others can heal the tank or blast away at the mobs.
Make your Kheldians where ever you like because I think Kheldians are on the rise now and more people are aware of their potential than before and this means more people wanting to team with them, or make them. -

I really like this! This would be much better than Team Teleport as a top tier power.
[/ QUOTE ]
Here's hoping that the Devs hear about this and agree, but even if they replace TT with this BT idea, Kheldians being locked out of the TP pool would never get this unless it was somehow coupled with Dwarf, and if it were just a Dwarf-ability, that wouldn't be available to Human-only Kheldians who I think will benefit from it the most... -

Have they done anything about the "toggle block" that the rediculous costume effect causes?

Nope.

Any news? planned fixes?

Anything?!
[/ QUOTE ]
No.
[ QUOTE ]
I left this game 6 months ago because of it, and they have given me 3 free months of play. Although I won't play, i do plan on using that time to post on this board to let the Devs know how rediculous the "fix" was and push for a fix to the "fix."
[/ QUOTE ]
Honestly, I don't think the issue was worth leaving the game, and it was annoying at first to adapt too, but considering that now team-buffs affect the forms, and the Dwarf is basically almost like a free Break-Free, I can live with it.
Apparently a lot of others can as well, if anything I think Kheldian numbers have grown a bit, so I doubt therefore that the Devs are going to change anything about it in the future. -

I find that using TP as a travel power is fun for the outdoors and as a good way to surprise mobs or engage several groups one after the other when trying to herd'em.
Only thing I dislike about TP is the hover right after you materialize at your destination.
What I'd like to see is something like Battle TP, which would let me mark up to 3 spots on the floor (in a certain range, of course) and have 3 hot-keys, each bound to its corresponding marker. While fighting, you could use each of the 3 hot-keys to appear at each of the locations marked and automatically turn to face the NPC you are still targeting.
I know it'd just be an approximation of what Nightcrawler can do, but I imagine it'd be a lot of fun and make TP a lot more dynamically usable in a fight, the Endurance usage mind you would probably have to be quite heavy so that the power doesn't become a blatant abuse. -

So what you're saying is that we're only allowed to play because Nemesis wants something to win at. Again. Wow, you guys are just pushing back the boundaries of masturbatory self-indulgence here. I don't even think the official Nemesis is actually that bad.

It seems to me you expect something original from Humans... how optimistic of you. -
That would be cool, go straight to the Suggestion Forum with that...
