1. I use a bind layout that utilizes all of my NUMPAD keys including the ones around the number keys themselves. Some of it (for my TriFormShade™) may be seen below:<ul type="square">NUMPAD1 "powexec_toggle_on Dark Nova$$camdist 18$$goto_tray 9"

NUMPAD2 "powexec_toggle_on Black Dwarf$$bindloadfilesilent wsDwarfTP.txt$$camdist 26$$goto_tray 8"

NUMPAD3 "powexec_toggle_off Dark Nova$$powexec_toggle_off Black Dwarf$$goto_tray 1$$powexec_toggle_on Sprint$$bindloadfilesilent wsHumanTP.txt$$camdist 16"

NUMPAD4 "+down$$powexec_toggle_on Gravity Shield$$powexec_toggle_on Shadow Cloak"

SUBTRACT "unselect$$target_custom_near enemy defeated"

ADD "powexec_toggle_off Dark Nova$$powexec_toggle_off Black Dwarf$$goto_tray 1$$bindloadfilesilent wsHumanTP.txt$$camdist 16$$powexec_name Eclipse"

NUMPAD5 "powexec_toggle_off Dark Nova$$powexec_toggle_off Black Dwarf$$goto_tray 1$$bindloadfilesilent wsHumanTP.txt$$camdist 16$$powexec_name Stygian Circle"

NUMPAD6 "powexec_toggle_off Dark Nova$$powexec_toggle_off Black Dwarf$$goto_tray 1$$bindloadfilesilent wsHumanTP.txt$$camdist 16$$powexec_name Sunless Mire"

NUMPAD7 "powexec_toggle_off Dark Nova$$powexec_toggle_off Black Dwarf$$goto_tray 1$$bindloadfilesilent wsHumanTP.txt$$camdist 16$$powexec_name Unchain Essence"

NUMPAD8 "powexec_toggle_off Dark Nova$$powexec_toggle_off Black Dwarf$$goto_tray 1$$bindloadfilesilent wsHumanTP.txt$$camdist 16$$powexec_name Gravity Well"

NUMPAD9 "powexec_toggle_off Dark Nova$$powexec_toggle_off Black Dwarf$$goto_tray 1$$bindloadfilesilent wsHumanTP.txt$$camdist 16$$powexec_name Gravitic Emanation"
The wsDwarfTP.txt and wsHumanTP.txt files contain respectively:<ul type="square">/bind SHIFT+LBUTTON "powexec_name Shadow Step"

/bind SHIFT+LBUTTON "powexec_name Black Dwarf Step"
These files allow me to use the Shift and Left Mouse Button for teleporting myself no matter what form I'm in as long as it's not Dark Nova.

This layout makes driving my TriFormShade™ very easy for me and allows me to execute powers and switch forms on the fly by tapping keys while targeting and camera control can be simultaneously done with the mouse.

A double-Mire for example is performed by going into Dwarf (NUMPAD2), executing the Black Dwarf Mire power (on my trays it's keyed to the '6' key) and then pressing NUMPAD6 to drop to Human form and execute Sunless Mire.

EDIT :: I've found messing with auto-power activation to be less than a good idea for my Kheldians, YMMV, of course.
2. I've always had my Dwarves (Black and White) 6-slotted with a mixture of EndMod, EndRdx, EndMod and Resists. On my TriForm PB all heals, including White Dwarf Sublimation are at least 5-slotted with IO healing-sets, and White Dwarf Flare is 5 frankenslotted with a mixture of IO's that maximize recharge, endurance usage and accuracy, plus an additional Achilles Heel: Chance for Resistance Debuff.

The PB seems to be a better tank than the WS because of it's more predictable nature, while the WS, if you combine a good shot of Eclipse and Black Dwarfs' armor, is more resistant.

...it was judged that the Cyst was more dangerous than the Giant monsters.

[/ QUOTE ]
I've never seen a GM that spawns it's own entourage of debuffers... so that's understandable in my opinion...
4. So... just for fun, what's the oddest question you remember being asked about anything Kheldian-related, while playing a Kheldian character?

Mine just happened last night when I was asked if Pulsar was a purchasable power...
5. My PB is on Infinity, and my WS is on Liberty... so I'm starting to think I need to make more Khelds... two on each server!
6. [ QUOTE ]
This is even to the point that if I am already mezzed, say I got stunned and I am hitting my macro to switch to dwarf, and then I get hit by another mez while I am switching, the switch fails and I have to hit it again.

[/ QUOTE ]
That one, I've noticed as well. To me, it just means now that I have to closely monitor whether I'm shifting or not and if the shift doesn't take, I need simply press my keybind again.

It's quite annoying while trying to take down two mezzers (or more) at the same time, but seeing as it's still possible to take on several Possessed Scientists and Death Mages in PI, I'd say it's something we can live with, exactly like the problem the OP stated... we can just roll with the changes.

New PB

This is an experimental build I'm running on Infinity for Ascendantia, my Lv50 Peacebringer. She gets her fair share of compliments on occasion when she tanks stuff and does unexpectedly well.

She's built to shift forms often, but also to use Dwarf form for some good tanking.
8. I think the Devs need to take a look at this...
9. In regular missions, at least the "responsible" Kheldian can warn their team-mates... when I was in PI and finally noticed the Cyst that spawned in my "hunting-ground", I had already seen several lowbie toons (a Lv25 tank I believe, and some others) who were probably just waiting idely for their PL team to gather around for their next mission.
10. I've never seen this happen, but tonight as I was in PI, clearing the parking lots near Portal Corp (you know, it's a community service... someone has to take care of those rampant CoT's), I suddenly saw a crowd of several Possessed Scientists around a black and purple object!

Sure enough, as I closed in, I saw the object was in fact... a Shadow Crystal Cyst which happily spawned its lovely fluffy black/purple balls of slow and agonizing death just as I landed in Dwarf form.

Being surrounded by both Possessed Scientists and fluff balls, unaided by anything or anyone, I had to take out the mezzers first, then some fluff balls before concentrating on the Cyst which all the while thought it'd be a wonderful idea to manufacture more fluffies for fun and profit!

Needless to say, the battle ended with one blown-up Cyst and several fluffies leaving the spot in a hurry and disappearing in the PI sky.

Honestly though, I was quite annoyed about the whole thing. I mean, why should my character be responsible for spawning a Cyst in an OPEN ZONE?!

It wasn't great fun taking the Cyst down and in the meantime, others could've been hurt (I saw some lowbie characters who went by and had to taunt some fluffies and Scientists so they'd leave them alone).

Prehaps the code should re-examine to ensure Cysts cannot spawn in open zones, especially not if there's just one Kheldian in the area... what do you guys think?
11. You can't block farming. You can only improve your damage-control exploit-counter-measure practices.... hopefully.
12. I want a friggin' SCRIPTING LANGUAGE in there!

PB for tanking?

Oh I know... believe me... I tanked her once but if not for a full team backing me up... it would've ended very badly.

Going Rogue?

The problems are all well-known for sure, and probably have been analyzed to death, but as long as the only way to come face to face with the problem is through sporadic task forces or teaming in the RWZ AE (where AE missions already screw up the metrics with custom critters that are tough as nails for some and easy as butter for others), I'm not sure how exposed the AT-vs-AT issue is, and Going Rogue may expose it further...
15. I usually (when soloing) open with teleporting into an enemy group with Dwarf, then hitting Black Dwarf Mire, then my Eclipse key-bind (dropping me to Human form and executing Eclipse) and my Sunless Mire key-bind and once I'm fully eclipsed and mired (as much as is possible post-I13), I switch to Nova or Dwarf, or stay in Human form as the fight requires.

Using Black Dwarf Mire before Eclipse simply gets me some more accuracy points, not to mention damages the enemies just that bit more before the 2nd Mire, and I find every little bit helps. Black Dwarf Mire stays on after Eclipse so even Sunless Mire is more accurate and does a bit more damage... seems like a win/win scenario to me.

Going Rogue?

True, he was winning against the corruption even in the game, but the game itself does not contain too much of the comic books, probably something like an introduction really.

About this side-switching Going Rogue thing, last night I "accidentally" logged on with a Dark/Rad Corruptor I haven't touched for ages on the Test Server. After killing a few mobs, it suddenly hit me... how would a Blaster feel when they'd see me, a Dark/Rad Corruptor, enjoying a good ranged attack-set, plus a good defense/debuff set, being able to do good damage, greatly debuff my enemies and yet heal myself, not to mention being able to "crit" enemies more often as their life-bar depletes...?

I think that, if a Corruptor was brought to the Blueside unchanged, both Blaster and Defender AT's may feel a touch of grudge against the newcomer?

Other issues may present themselves with other AT's and people will undoubtedly make countless threads about this in these Forums, so to be honest, I'm starting to feel that perhaps Going Rogue isn't going to be such a great thing after all.

It definitely won't register as "AWESOME" with me if all it means is simply letting my character appear in the Other Side's zones.
17. That's why we try to downshift (from Dwarf/Nova to Human) more than upshift...

PB for tanking?

Try tanking Ghost Widow in the STF...
19. I'm not sure, but I think Obsidian Force's SG is called Nightwatch (on Guardian). Better PM him to make sure.

If you're looking for a fun and relaxed All-Kheldian SG on Infinity, hook up with Umbra Illuminati, just send any of its members a tell, they can all invite new members.

Hehe, oh that one!! My nephew loved that game for its violence.

[/ QUOTE ]

I love both. My current challenge in The Darkness is to try beating the game on normal eating only the minimum required number of hearts. Already beat the game, so now I'm trying to see if there's a different ending if you don't max out your darkness level.

[/ QUOTE ]
I doubt there's a different ending since the game follows the comic-book story, and we all know where that story arc went...

Going Rogue?

I didn't like the violence itself, seen enough in RL so yeah... but at least that game doesn't seem to do violence for the sake of violence as so many games seem to these days...
