  1. Oh wow awesome. Those were some things I wasn't even thinking about. Thank you for the time you spent putting that together, this is really filling me with hope for Lill yet. Now just going to work on the money part to get this done.
  2. Ok revamped the build abit and throwing it up here. Added kb protection in place of one resist/recharge in FoN. Didn't lose much and gained that KB protection. Switched my 4 melee's to Kin combat and tacked on an Acc IO for the 5th spot. Replaced one decimation with a thunderstrike set. Also inserted the 6th piece of the Gaussian set for the added def.

  3. This is true about the overall length, and not something I thought of tbh. I guess in my head I was assuming an average length "Kill all in last room" type mission.

To do that consider slotting Kinetic Combat or their cheaper (although less effective) alternative, Smashing Haymaker, into your melee attack, slot 2 Rectified Recticle into aim / build up and consider taking maneuvers (or fighting pool).

    Completely forgot about the rule of 5 >.
    Edit: Oops, you said smashing/lethal def and yes, that gets cranked up to 20% with the Kin combats.

  6. Leaving aside storylines and such, what do most people think is the right amount of missions in an AE arc? Not too long, but not too short, looking for what feels just right. I'm thinking of diving into this for my first time and I was curious what those who have more experience thought. My own idea for an arc can be tailored to any number of missions so just getting a feel of how many to roughly plan for.

    Ok, maybe I should say a little more. But really, that _is_ what is important here. If you enjoy playing new characters, don't hate yourself for it.

    Is there a game content/mechanics reason? No valid at all. Join the war against flawed game design! Encourage the Devs to create content which can appeal to ALL players.

    Oh fun is never lacking, just self-discipline I suppose. The reason for wanting atleast one other 50 is because the one I have now is essentially retired. Because she was my first and favorite for so long I don't want to change anything about her but over many many issues she has become less thrilling on her own. She's had her run and now I would like another I can badge hunt with and run high level things with. Which ofcourse leads to my problem of not being able to pick just one to work on for the time being to maybe get that other 50. Thats only for blue side though where I had done a large portion of my playing, I haven't even seen most of red side because of this issue. So my reasons seem to fall under all 3 valid ones, logical, emotional, and personal. ^_^

  10. #2 Actually does make sense and would prob help the most but for some reason it comes hardest to me now. Something about my first character (despite honestly being fairly generic) kept me crafting a story in my head. The alts that came after her actually had a few interesting ideas/bgs built into em but I couldn't recapture the firsts enjoyment of the rp aspect.

    As for goals I will definitely try setting some attainable goals here this time. Though my one goal of a level 50 villain was so I could play the VEATs but now I have access to them >.< Doh!
  11. Everytime I resub I find myself faced with the same problem over and over. WHICH CHARACTER DO I CHOOSE?! It is seemingly impossible for me to stick with one character and play them up to finally have a 2nd hero at level 50 or even a first villain there. Its not that I get bored with them but my Archtype ADD kicks in and I want to try some new idea or combo (sometimes leading to the deletion of lower characters so I have room.)

    Does anyone else seem to suffer from this same plight. How do you cope with it? Any advice for a terrible Altaholic for me so I can FINALLY get a second char to max?
  12. Sort of a general question relating to this thread but, how do Huntsman builds workout in the long run? Do they end up getting left behind as far as damage and utility go? At a glance I really like the look of Dingo's build but does it reach a point when its silly to be huntsman and I should just pick Bane or Crab?

    Each post makes a good point and I definitely have alot to think on now but Fly is definitely out now. Was useful being my first villain to just fly up and see the area around me but I can get by just fine w/o it now I'm sure. Thank you each for sharing your thoughts on this.
