And beware of Gazebos.
[/ QUOTE ]
Gazebos are tricky, but it's the head of Vecna you really need to look out for. -

Don't ever question the sanctity of my half-Draenei werewolf. Thanks.

As long as he isn't named Sepiroth (or Drizzt), I don't have a problem. -

For a start, RPers will NEVER "LOL" or use smilies when it's an IC conversation...

Heh. I take it you're not a regular on bad_rpers_suck, then? Roleplayers will do that, and worse. -

Spike melee damage,Revive power, mez, ranged dmg and additional hp not to mention bosses being a menace and having kb as well.

On the other hand, they don't have pesky resistances, psionic damage, emanators, portal, -acc or -def, vengance, caltrops, endurance drainers or many other "fun" abilities.
As an enemy, freakshow is not particularly intimidating or difficult than other factions, and don't really deserve any extra XP. -
For what it's worth, from the Online Etymology Dictionary:
warlock
O.E. wærloga "traitor, liar, enemy," from wær "faith, a compact" (cf. O.H.G. wara "truth," O.N. varar "solemn promise, vow;" see very; cf. also Varangian) + agent noun related to leogan "to lie" (see lie (v.1)). Original primary sense seems to have been "oath-breaker;" given special application to the devil (c.1000), but also used of giants and cannibals. Meaning "one in league with the devil" is recorded from c.1300. Ending in -ck and meaning "male equivalent of witch" (1568) are from Scottish.
witch
O.E. wicce "female magician, sorceress," in later use esp. "a woman supposed to have dealings with the devil or evil spirits and to be able by their cooperation to perform supernatural acts," fem. of O.E. wicca "sorcerer, wizard, man who practices witchcraft or magic," from verb wiccian "to practice witchcraft" (cf. Low Ger. wikken, wicken "to use witchcraft," wikker, wicker "soothsayer"). OED says of uncertain origin. Klein suggests connection with O.E. wigle "divination," and wig, wih "idol." Watkins says the nouns represent a P.Gmc. *wikkjaz "necromancer" (one who wakes the dead), from PIE *weg-yo-, from *weg- "to be strong, be lively." That wicce once had a more specific sense than the later general one of "female magician, sorceress" perhaps is suggested by the presence of other words in O.E. describing more specific kinds of magical craft. In the Laws of Ælfred (c.890), witchcraft was specifically singled out as a woman's craft, whose practitioners were not to be suffered to live among the W. Saxons [...] -
The target window should contain information about the mezz status of the enemy and, more importantly, information about any debuffs anchored on it.

It wasn't bad, just old and not in the classic old kind of way.

It's just lost that loving feeling. -

Ive already mentioned this in more detail in previous repsonse in this topic so I wont repeat things.. but no he didnt have a right to it, he had access to it, and access does not equate to permission.
[/ QUOTE ]
According the way supergroups work in the game, it does. If you didn't want to give him permission, you shouldn't give him access. Anything beyond that is a gentleman's agreement. It's a sucky system, but it's the one we've got.
[ QUOTE ]
the stance of "It is not breaking the rule sand so is totally okay" is one taken by some of the commenters on this thread, not by NCSoft.
[/ QUOTE ]
It's not "totally okay," it's just not in any way sensurable by NCSoft support staff. -
<ul type="square"> [*] I'd like to see the chat window be made modal, and accessible on the log-in screen, costume editor, base editor, loading screens, enchantment manager and everywhere else by toggling it on and off with an appropriate hot-key.
[*] Irc-II style query windows for tell conversations with friends.
[*] When moving stacks of salvage around, let the number of moved items default to the size of the stack, rather than the previous number of items that were moved. It's only occasional that I find myself moving partial stacks around anyway.
[*] Writing and reading costume choices to files. (Implemented so that players can share said files through e-mail or otherwise.)
[*] By default, shops should only show the most relevant enhancements (highest level you can use, and only those enhancements that can actually be slotted into a power you have.)
[*] Remember the choice of zoom level for mission / city zone.

[*] In-zone teleportation booths in Independence Port (run into one, run out of another elsewhere in the zone)
[*] Different shades for resisted and unresisted damage numbers.
[*] Real-world and game-time clocks in the UI.
[*] Jabber access to the in-game chat
[*] Wall-decorations for base that are windows, external doorways, skylights and city zone vistas, so we can pretend the base is something else than a hollow concrete cube.
[*] On the enhanced team list, the option to only see your buffs (or at least, only buffs you can make) on team members.
[*] The badge graphics made available as ready-made avatars for the forums

so when I get abused in a non acceptable way obviously as most normal people would I expect to have the issue resolved and somethign doen about it, so that I as a consumer am protected from such abuse in the future..

Here's the rub, though: by the rules and mechanisms of the game, he had the right to do what he did (as that's what you'd given him when you gave him access to the storage bins.) Yes, you had what amounts to a gentleman's agreement with him that he shouldn't do what he did and he broke it, but you can't expect NCSoft Europe to enforce your gentlemans' agreements in the game any more than you can expect the police to enforce them in real life.
If you give someone the keys to your apartment, you can't call the police on them because they cleared out your fridge, even if they'd said they wouldn't do that.
The problem isn't NCSoft's inacticity. As Supergroup rights are implemented today, there's nothing they can, or indeed should, do about this instance. The problem is the way the Supergroup rights are implemented, and in particular the "all or nothing" access to base editing and storages. There ought to be support for some kind of per day limit, or similar. -

So, after this party, are we going to be asking you "How's it feel to be on the front page of every newspaper in the english-speaking world, even though the other side denies the incident"? -
When all's said and done, it's a game and it's all just monopoly money. Bad gamesmanship is rude and seriously annoying, but it is not illegal or against the rules as such.
Think of the NCSoft support team as the gophers or staff at a gaming convention. They'll throw out people who are belligerent or harasses other visitors, but they won't throw someone out because his paladin stole your fighter's magic ring or because he helped himself to the bank while playing Monopoly. -

You've had Issue 12, plus the large Quality of Life update for Issue 11.

You left out "you thankless, greedy ingrates!" -
I'd like to see a cloak-based power set. Wrap your enemy in your cloak and beat on them; trip enemies with your cloak, have them walk onto the trailing edge of your cloak and then suddenly dash forward, make them attack your cloak, not you, wrap your cloak around your head so you can't be attacked by ravenous bugblatter beasts -- small things like that.
Also, a power-set based around skintight spandex and cleavage. -
[ QUOTE ]
there are still people who struggle on Heroic/Villainous (yeah, it surprises me too, but there are - I've met them).
[/ QUOTE ]
Met them? Heck, I've been them. And, yes, a general "across the board" increase in difficulty wouldn't be good. But a weekend when, say, Freakshow mobs and Crey's Folly were announced to be "extra hard, extra filling"? That might be fun. -
Here's my suggestion:
XP and Inf as normal. triple debt, no inspiration drops, all missions are shifted two degrees of dificulty up, all enemies count as if they were two levels higher than they are, prestigue and salvage drops are increased by half.
Another thing I'd like to see would be "double XP in [zone]" weekends -- particularly for the Rikti War zone -- and "double XP for Task and Strike forces" weekends. -

Hmmm. "Essentially players will get to craft their own storylines complete with custom dialogue and characters that can include other non AI-controlled players in the universe." Emphasis mine.
What exactly does that mean? That you can use player characters as NPCs in missions? Or is it just badly phrased (which seems a likely explanation considering the rest of the article.) -

why can't we use names of characters in other comics?
