I find it funny that I've gained rep for the post where I trashed the rep system.
-
I'll have 8 slots (6 and the defaults) to spend.
Melee attacks are not my focus - the vast majority of the time is spent repeating ROA and Explosive these days. (man, RoA is fantastic...) I will use the melee attacks when enemies close to me or I fight bosses though. (my usual tactic for the boss is to stack my two holds and then move to melee)
I wasn't aware that Power Sink was so great for end recovery - I thought it was mainly a end drain for the enemies. I'm usually fine for End unless I forgot to turn off Fly or something, but an instant End recovery power is never a bad thing to have I think. I'll give it a shot.
If Lightning Clap doesn't require much slotting I might try it. I already have 2 holds, a hold proc and a stun, which is starting to feel like I rolled a controller, but given how badly things can go for me if I don't get the drop on the enemies or I'm ambushed an AOE stun might be very useful.
Thanks for your advice. -

My highest level blaster just recently hit 49, and I'm going to respec her at 50, freeing up two picks from powers I hardly ever use. Can anyone give me any suggestions about great choices for the last two power picks?
I don't have a mids build all planned out, but in summary I will definitely be keeping all these powers...
Archery: All powers except Ranged Shot
Elec Manip: Electric Fence, Havoc Punch, Build Up, Thunder Strike, Shocking Grasp
Elec Mastery: Shocking Bolt, Charged Armour, Surge of Power
Flight: Hover and Fly
Fitness: Swift, Health and Stamina
Speed: Hasten
That leaves the following choices -
Archery: Ranged Shot
Elec Manip: Charged Brawl, Lightning Field, Lightning Clap, Power Sink
Elec Mastery: Static Discharge, EM Pulse
And the following pool powers I'm interested in -
Boxing and Tough
Maneuvers/Assault/or Tactics
Aid Other and Aid Self
Grant Invis and Invisibility
Does anyone have any ideas about what two I should choose? -
First of all, now that I can post on these boards again, thanks for your review of "Through Rose-Tinted Glasses" way back. I don't completely agree about Philip's fate being too vague, (it was sort of the point) but that's my only minor gripe.
Secondly, if you're out of arcs to play, can I request The Sleeping Star please? (53951)
Thanks. -
I LOLd when I looked at the Dev Digests (there are two now) and saw they'd been posted by "Administrator_EU" and "Administrator_NA"
There were no exceptions for anyone. -
Terrible idea, I've never seen this bring anything but flames to a message board.
-
I'm pretty chuffed with the quality of these boards and how quickly they're loading for me. Congrats NC. There are some things to get used to and work out of course, but I bet in a month (nearly) nobody will feel any worse off.
And +1 to the call to merge the server lists. -
Well, this seems quite nice. Need time to break it in but I could get used to this.

(the Forumites head over to the edge of the Forumverse, and peer though a telescope at the next forumverse over. A group of parallel Forumites wearing cowboy hats wave back at them)
DAMZ: Far out! So, there's an infinite number of parallel forumverses?
FFM: No, just the two.
DAMZ: Oh well, I'm sure that's enough.
GOLDEN GIRL: I'm sick of parallel Golden Girl lording her cowboy hat over me! Let's INVADE!
Later, Damz started dating a robotic Lucy Liu. It was a pretty good ep. -
well, happily that's about to become a non-issue.
-
No, it says the boards will be taken down at one point during a two hour period, (3-5PM) and it'll take 72 hours from when they go down to come back.
-
I can't seem to find any info about this, so I'll quickly ask... are threads being copied over to the new board, or are we starting from scratch? If so, how far back are you going to copy them?
-
Closed Beta is starting after Comic-con.
... I know this is pie-in-the-sky thinking, but it sure would be nice if some EU players could get access to this.
And by some I mean me. -
I have a hunch this is just a halloween-style costume, not a pack with individual bits, so this is no big deal for me. It'll all be the same in about a month when it wears off.
But if it IS individual bits we can use in the costume creator, then yeah, something needs to be done to get us these! -
That said guys, I remember BaB saying that Brawl was the single most complicated animation script in the game because of the Left/Right switching and all the exceptions (kicks for Archery etc)
Randomising or alternating the new MA/SS animations probably wouldn't be as complex, but I doubt it's trivial either. Either way, it's still something I would really like to see, as it would add a LOT to MA at least. -
First of all, the I16 announcement sounds FANTASTIC, there's not a thing in there I don't like.
The option to have a choice of two animations for each power in Martial Arts and Super Strength is something I'm looking forward to, but I'd like to add a third option - randomly pick between the two animations whenever you use the power. Would be great for making the animations more varied and fun IMO. -

And alledgedly Carnie City Map and City Map 02 are removed along with the Mito NPC foes.
[/ QUOTE ]
The maps have NOT been removed. The Green Mitos have, since they were being brutally exploited in farms (if spawned below level 45, they had NO attacks) -

City map 02 + carnie city map gone
[/ QUOTE ]
They're still there for me. -
Bear in mind the STF is currently bugged, and the upcoming patch apparantly doesn't fix it.

They said there was a 'feedback' drop-down or something on published missions. So that the feedback was stored with the mission.
Where the frag did that end up? Sounded like a damn good idea, thats gone to utter waste.
In game messaging, IMO, sucks bad. It really, really needs and overhaul.

It's ingame now. As of I15, when you get a review a "comments" button appears on your arcs in the "My Published Arcs" tab. These reviews are stored with the arc and should work cross-region. (AFAIK)
I've recieved two reviews in this way since I15. Of course, you won't be able to see reviews from pre-I15 this way. -
Are the comments showing up correctly under the "comments" button on the arc, when you look at it though "My Published Arcs?"
