The 10.10c hotfix did not fix the problem for me. I'll see if 10.10d helps once it's done downloading.

My regular contact list, which only has a handful of contacts, renders fine. But when I looked at the Inactive tab, which has a TON of those, and scrolled down so they would load, the client did crash. I'm have no idea why one single contact image in Ouroboros causes the crash.

I'm not surprised; the way graphic drivers work in WinXP-32 and Win7-64 is very different. Thanks for testing!

Quote:"Plain" 10.10 apparently, I downloaded 10-10_vista64_win7_64_dd_ccc_enu.exeWhich driver set Leo?
There's 10.10, 10.10a, 10.10b, and 10.10c so far:

I'm downloading the hotfix to see if that helps. Geesh, the regular drivers are 77MB and the "hotfix" is 118MB? -
When I try to access any mission in Ouroboros while my graphics quality is set to "Ultra", the game freezes. There is no crash dialog, and I can't use Ctrl+Esc or Alt+Tab to switch tasks. The only way out is by hitting Ctrl+Alt+Del and using the Task Manager to kill the program. With my graphics quality set to Minimum, everything works fine.
Here's a video of the problem: http://bit.ly/aieiuL
OS: Windows 7 64-bit
Video card: Radeon HD 5770
Graphic drivers: 10.10 (latest version; I did a clean reinstall to make sure they were OK) -
Quote:Um, Optical: that graph is the only place in the report where COH is directly named. There's no other context directly related to COH to find in that report.bad context in your 1st post leandro.
follow the link, look at cox numbers, think about cox numbers with the "big picture" in mind, then come back and discuss cox numbers NOT other ncsoft numbers.
Moving on: in this post from January of this year, Arcanaville posted a table with the numbers converted to USD based on the exchange rate at the time of the report. I'm going to PM her and see if she can post an updated version with a pretty graph. -
For even more context, here's a graph of how much money COH was earning from release to i16:
Please note that the figures are not adjusted for inflation. -
Quote:Exactly this. As it is, Positron said something that I don't remember Statesman saying. In his reign it would have been more like "the dance emotes didn't fit our vision, but don't worry, they are being revamped into something much better that you'll see very soon". Then we'd get two dance emotes in issue 30.I'm not the person you were asking, but I can tell you what was wrong with your comment from my perspective. Your implied tone and word choice were far more condescending and rude than any imagined slight on the part of Positron. You literally implied he lacked the manners of a child. Not cool.

Quote:That's the case for me. My character skipped the Hero tutorial zone (Outbreak) but visited the old Rikti Crash Site, which is not in his list.
Second-hand information: I've heard complaints from other players who switched from hero to villain side that NONE of the villain maps would retain cleared Fog Of War for them. I can't imagine how they had already reached the cap. -
Having the exact same issue in Argentina. Renewed this month using a time card, after having the account inactive since September. I'm just giving up on veteran badges and using a time card when there's a new issue release or badge event; much less headache.

Quote:Yay, the message did reach someone! I couldn't even remember your global handle anymore to contact you ingame. I'll give the message to her mom to tell her when she's awake.I do know her and this is terrible news. Tell her Xen-Angel is pulling for her to get through this and to have a speedy recovery.

I have been updating the wiki with the new rolls, and it's up to date. I'll update any new rolls that show up. I wasn't posting because my account was inactive, I just resubbed.

Hello guys. I just reactivated my account in the off chance that some of @Curupira's friends sees this. She was never active in the forums so most of you probably have no clue who she is; she used to play in Freedom mainly, and had alts in a couple of other servers.
Last weekend she was rushed to the hospital where a sizable tumor was found in her brain. There was an emergency surgery on monday night to relieve pressure, and there will be another surgery tonight to remove more of it. Unfortunately, it was found so late that they will have to remove a portion of her left brain. There's no telling how this will affect her. If you know her and would like more info, PM me. If you want to send her a card, she's in the ICU at:

You can type /screen 1024 600 to resize your playing area to that while playing fullscreen (that's how I got the above screensht). Once you're done, though, remember to type /screen 1920 1080 (or whatever resolution you normally use) because the game "remembers" the last screen resolution and would attempt to start at 1024x600 the next time you started it otherwise.
-
Assuming that your monitor is around 90dpi (22" at 1680x1050, 24" at 1920x1080) this screenshot is adjusted for the real size of this device's screen:
(direct link)
Use a ruler, it should be about 4.8" (12.2 cm) diagonal. I don't think I want to expose my eyes to that.
Here is the screenshot at full resolution. -
You might also want new eyes: a 4.8" screen (12.2cm diagonal) would be 4.1" wide (10.5cm) and 2.4" tall (6.2cm); with a resolution of 1024x600, that's 247 dots per inch (97 dots per cm). That's almost 3 times the dot density of your regular desktop monitor; they are usually around 90 dpi (35 dpcm).
My cellphone has a 2" screen (5.1cm) at 320x240, 200 dpi (78 dpcm) and I wouldn't want to stare at it for long periods of time. This device has the dots even closer together. -
Quote:Its selling point is that it can run both online and offline games such as [redacted due to very stupid forum rules; popular RTS and popular MMO] along with 3D development tools. In a nutshell, you're looking at a full-fledge PC OS on a mobile device.Wondering if this thing will be able to handle City of.....i would marketeer on it, Or run tip mission quotas lol
The OCS 1 comes with a 4.8-inch, 1,024 x 600-pixel capacitive touchscreen, 32GB SSD, a microSD card slot; Wi-Fi connectivity, 3.5mm audio jack, speaker, microphone and a pair of cameras (3 megapixels for the main module; 1.3 megapixels for the Web cam).
If it can run the RTS and MMO that the article mentions, it should handle COH just fine. -
Quote:Yes, I know. I've been seeing it around since issue 4, when I joined. I normally just let them go and forget about them; but I still don't think it's a good behaviour: he's running away for... no reason at all. And he is running away with no purpose, either.Came here to post this. This flavour of spawn has had the one runner since launch.
If it was a non-combat mob that ran, or from another enemy group? That'd be fine. If the ran into a door? Understandable. If he ran to get some backup friends? That'd be even better. But he's just running wildly with no clear reason and eventually comes back to stand with his buddies... the ones he abandoned while they were fighting, and somehow this is fine with them.
As scripts go, this one is really, really dumb. -
"You've stuck your nose into the wrong place!" doesn't sound like "I'm outta here!" to me...
