"Storm". Because it arrives with the coming storm, the whole VIP model is causing a sh#%storm in the forums.

Images are being directly linked from pcgamer.com, so my guess is, from a PC Gamer article.

/facepalm
You do realize that bringing this out in the open will increase your interest rate by 2500%, right Ion? It's right there in page 32 of the contract, paragraph 47, subheading D, written in 6-point Wingdings. -

I'm sorry if I seem rude, but I've been told to use the same "solution" for years already. The fact of the matter is that I'm trying to give money to NCsoft, and their IP block is preventing me from doing that. It very much seems to me that they should fix the issue, rather than me renting a server in the US to install a proxy server so I can fool their stupid IP block. I don't care about the booster packs enough to do that. -
A few days ago I did both Lambda and BAF with a controller I hadn't touched in over a year. I died 8 times total, the rest of the time I was actively playing and supporting the team. My own squishiness was irrelevant when I could cuddle other people while they were using their tasty Destiny buffs.

Quote:Putting payment details through a proxy server is a massively bad idea. I'd only do it if I owned the server that is being used to rely the information and I'd personally verified the security. He shouldn't "have to", but if it's the choice between not being able to get them and being able to get them...
This isn't about waiting a week, I have literally been waiting years for the store to work for me. They want me to get it from their local distributor, but their local distributor (Edusoft) hasn't sold anything since Good vs. Evil Edition. They don't even sell time cards. I have to jump through hoops just to pay my subscription. -
Once again, can you please do something about the stupid IP blocking? I have no local distributor that carries these, if you don't open the store for my IP I can't get any of the packs!

Updated the Steam list. If you have Steam and you want a popup reminder every week, join the group.

...Wow.
I hadn't bothered with Hami since i20 hit because I figured everybody would be too busy running Lambda and BAF to care. But since the Praetorian Surge on Freedom meant that a lot of people were online, I got one going after the community team left.
First go, we had some old regulars, but everybody was out of practice. Many of them had never done evacless before. But with Rebirth and Clarion, we destroyed Hami. I had to nag people to not keep attacking Hami because we would have stacked blooms; but looking back, I think we could have stacked the 50% bloom with the 25% bloom and still killed it. It dropped very, very quickly.
After that, most people left for a Mothership raid, and we had to work with the kind of league that would have ended in a failure pre-Incarnates. Mitos were loose all over the place; the Hami tank died several times (his first time tanking, and he only had two Empaths); the green team was split. All around, a royal mess, and I was nervously expecting a complete wipe at some point. But not only we didn't wipe, but we finished it evacless (with most yellows loose!), and we skipped the last bloom and killed Hami with all his mitos up.
Just.... wow. -
[Admin] NCsoft_Zwillinger: If you read Second Measure's Producer's Letter for last month, you know that he said our previous record was around 3500 players on a server, concurrently.
[Admin] NCsoft_Zwillinger: Our goal for tonight was slightly more humble. 2500 players.
[Admin] NCsoft_Zwillinger: We kinda owned that goal...
[Admin] NCsoft_Zwillinger: in the face
[Admin] NCsoft_Zwillinger: Tonight, on Freedom, we saw over 4000 concurrent players online at one time.
[Admin] NCsoft_Zwillinger: As a result of us breaking the record, we will be enabling the "Defender of Primal Earth" Badge on ALL live servers for the remainder of the Memorial Day weekend!
[Admin] NCsoft_Zwillinger: Everyone who logs into City of Heroes until next Tuesday morning will receive this Account Wide Badge, thanks to you, the CoH Community!
Also, Zwilinger fails at spelling:
[Admin] NCsoft_Zwillinger: So congratulations everyone, you've earned not only the Paragon Studio's team gratitude, but also everyone else's who couldn't be hear tonight! -
Quote:Power Drone Pet is targetable and buffable. Therefore, any 48+ month vet will be able to self-buff (unless they change the pets to prevent this). If it does allow the caster to get the buffs, of which I'm not certain, because it does specify eligible, it won't help solo players, because they'll still need to target someone else to cast the AoE buff.

I exemplar down a lot, so I don't get to use my incarnate powers much. Thus my difficulty settings remain unchanged. I'm still working on getting every villain souvenir (already have all the heros ones), and it'll take a while.

And now it's on sale on Steam. GR is kinda on perma-sale status.

There's other post in the forums where someone solved this same problem by turning off User Account Control. So it is a permissions issue. UAC has been a bundle of headaches for lots of people.
-
Can you right-click the launcher and run it as administrator? That might help. It sounds like a Vista/7 permissions issue getting in the way.

There has been one minor change: the 44-50 hero respec trial used to start in the Rikti Crash Site. When it became the Rikti War Zone in Issue 10, the contact was moved to Peregrine Island.

Don't be so pessimistic, if the character has Reactive Interface slotted they would be doing 5.5% damage...

Quote:I'm pretty sure they're talking about this raid with 16 people, which took under 2 hours to complete.Originally Posted by Cinder_FluxIt took us 3 days to do it. Each day was yellow death that we had to clear.
Hamidon ignores all defense and resistance, only regeneration helps against its damage. So maybe a character at the HP cap, using the Destiny regen power to cap itself and take out a mito at a time... maybe using pets as a distraction first...
It would take forever, though. -
