Still, putting my seatbelt on is automatic for me, and I taught my nephews the same. I always drive within speed limits and respect all traffic lights. Just because everybody else drives like a lunatic (my own mother never puts on a seatbelt and doesn't even have a valid license), it doesn't mean I should follow their example.

"Most"? That is simply untrue. Nearly all forum signatures fit into the specified size. Let's look at the ones in this very thread:

I could keep going, but I only found 1 out of 12 that was above the size, and it wasn't anywhere near 600x200.

You know what the rules are. Why are you acting like they shouldn't apply to you? Just use the buttons Snow_Globe made, which are 120x120. Your idea is good, but the size just isn't.

By the way, just because others might not be complying with the rules, out of ignorance of knowingly, that's no excuse for you to ignore them outright yourself. That's like getting a speeding ticket for going 65 in a 55 road, and your defense is "I've gone around looking at other cars and they were going 70, so why is my 65 unacceptable?"

I got this badge by using the accounts from 3 friends and repeatedly killing them in Warburg. Got the Supergroup badge for PVP kills the same way.

Since the game is going F2P, you can just open a couple of free accounts, level characters to 15, and do the same in Bloody Bay.

It has been pointed before, like in the case of the "Loyalist"/"Resistance" signatures. And in any case, now you know, but you're not making any moves to actually play by the rules; in fact, you are openly saying that you don't care about them. Please reconsider your attitude.

As for the "not a Photoshop guru" bit, all you have to do is say you'll replace your icons for appropriate-sized ones if provided, and I'll post 120-pixel tall versions of all of them for your use. But right now you are not giving any indication that you would accept such an offer.

With all due respect, the forum rules apply to you too, and being all cheeky about violating them doesn't help your case. I'll direct you to last time we had a mass signature thing going: the "Loyalist"/"Resistance" signature craze that later had people using "Clueless"/"Television"/"Pantless" signatures.

When first introduced in a thread that I can't find at the moment, the signatures were too large. After it was pointed out, the signatures were reduced so they would be 120 pixels tall. The spirit of the signature craze wasn't destroyed by having the signatures resized to fit the forum guidelines, and plenty of people still use them. There's nothing preventing you to do the same.

Or will the pillars of civilization crumble if your signature images are the same size as everybody else's?

Of course you don't need to unlock everything. Do you think I ever used Fairy or Cherub wings on my characters? Or anything at all from the Animal Pack?

I just want everything unlocked, even if I'm not going to use it. Which is why NCsoft will get a lot more money from me -- unless they decide to put the same dumb IP block they have in the NCsoft store in the ingame store.

Fixed. I got them confused with Trail Auras, but the mistake is only in there, not in the actual totals.

Communication Officers: in Issue 10, people discovered that they could provoke Communcation Officers in the RWZ into dropping a portal, hit them for a couple of points of damage and then fly away, and they would get full XP for the portal once it despawned. The portals gave significant XP to compensate for the spawned Rikti not giving any.

Death Shamans: way back in Issue 4, there was this mission from Unai Kemen full of Death Shamans. A fire tanker would herd them all to the middle of the map, keeping them far enough that they would summon zombies without getting close. The zombies would walk towards the fire tanker, who would have Burn on auto, defeating them and getting full XP/Inf. Once this was set up, it could go for the entire night with no supervision.

Lichen: you forgot this one. In the Eden trial, there's some "Lichen Colonies" that spawn infinite minions. Until issue 10, those Lichen gave XP. What changed? Issue 10 gave us the Vanguard HVAS, very tough pets that would last until you zoned, had long range attacks... and you could Group Fly them. A group would summon the pets, fly over the lichen (too far for their ranged attacks, but not for the HVAS) and watch the robots happily destroy the Lichen all day. Oh, I hear an objection coming; "the Eden trial ends after 3 hours!" Well, that's only true if you don't complete it. If you complete the Eden trial, you get "Mission Complete!" in the compass... and the mission timer stops.

Similar exploits apply to everything else that can be endlessly spawned and gives rewards.

I just went to the RWZ and annoyed a Rikti portal. This is correct; 5 Rikti spawn from normal portals summoned from Communications Officers.

However, I believe those summoned Rikti are the same entity (and thus share the same rewards) with, say, these:



You see the problem.

I would be extremely surprised if they did not sell a "2X XP for 1 Hour" inspiration or a "Two bars of Patrol XP" inspiration. Every F2P game with microtransactions has those, and we have the tech for both in place.

But since the whole team matches levels to the team leader, I really don't care at what speed each individual player is leveling anyway.

At least find poor BAB and gift him a new set of hubcaps...

Well, in the previous poster, he got his face flattened by Recluse. I guess he decided to try smaller fish this time around.

I was thinking of myself and Steelclaw. I still don't know what the news will do to his tournament.

I bought a Radeon HD 5770 specifically because COH said it would support it better with Ultra Mode. It's been almost a year and it still crashes when water effects are enabled. Plus I ran into a weird issue where the driver would crash on Visual Studio. I'm going back to NVIDIA next time I buy a card.

Source? Note that Zwilinger said we'd "accrue vet rewards as normal until we fully transition to our new model". With the implication that once the new model is in place, this won't be the case.
