Well, you could have posted it in the RP critique thread instead if you think it may have been more appropriate there.

So who are you talking about then? Go ahead, name some names.

Naga climbed onto Stella's back and hung on gently. She made a sound like a lizard trying to purr, signaling contentness.

Naga looked up at the floating squid-thing and hopped up and down excitedly. It appeared as if she was trying to get on her back for a ride.

Cobalt was mad as she stared up at the roof where her mallet was stuck. She reached out towards it and focused real, real hard until there was a flash of light and suddenly the mallet was back in her hand.

"I go smash that stupid ghoul now!" She said excitedly as she ran back into the house.

Suddenly Ghoul found himself tumbling facefirst at the ground as a tripwire snagged his legs.

"Now gimme back my hammer!" Cobalt shouted as she tossed a sillystring grenade at him.

Anna and Kathode were crowding around Essex's legs.
"I want extra turkey!"
"That why you're fat!"
"Am not!"
"Are too!"
Another fight broke out between the little catgirl and devilgirl.

"You have my hammer behind your back!" Cobalt shouted, pointing at Ghoul accusingly. She continued up the stairs towards him.

Cobalt saw her mallet stuck on Ghoul's back. "Give it back!" She screamed as she climbed up the stairs after him.

"EWWWW!!" Anna yelled as she backed away from Shiro.

Meanwhile, Naga stopped whimpering and threw her arms around Essex's neck.

Cobalt finally put her nerf gun away and joined Kathode in demanding something to eat.

Naga fell to the floor and landed on her tail after Archlich suddenly disappeared. The startled child began to whimper.

Cobalt stared at experiment for a moment with signs of contemplation going on within her head.

"Yeah." She said. "But this satify quicker." Then she shot him again.

/nukes the site from orbit

It's the only way to be sure.

"Suck up!" Cobalt shouted at Experiment as she shot him in the back of the head with a nerf dart. "And where's my hammer?"

Naga didn't know what was going on, but decided to join in the pouncing.

"RAAAA!" She howled as she lept up onto Archlich's back and clung onto his shoulders.

"Me wussy?" Anna shouted at Shiro. "I beat up any stupid boy! Me and Kathy both!" She added, pointing at the miserably wet Kathode who was dripping wet and sparking with red electricity.

I find it annoying as well when everyone jumps on some new thread and suddenly two others end up dieing as the pool of players rapidly dries up.

Of course, it's not as if we have a bit consistent group. My old forums had one large group of players who only did one RP thread at a time. If you didn't want to participate you just didn't post in the RP forum for a while until that story ended and the next one did. However, that was a consistent group where we took turns being GMs.

Here though we have a lot more people with more varied tastes, so it is not surprising to have more than one RP thread running at a time. The problem is the Big Ones drowning out the others, which is a shame. I know some people have all the free time in the world but I don't so I have to limit myself to one story at a time, especially when GMing. The only reason I have anything to do with Bright Star is because I can come and go as a I please (due to absence of plot) and there were no pre-existing character relationships to deal with.

It makes writing for her so much more enjoyable, just have to resist the urge to pull deus ex machina items out of it all of the time.

Before I withdrew from Greatest Tale Every Told, I planned to explain that Cobalt got into the pocket universe by being sucked into her backpack while reaching to far in for something inside.

Among the things seen coming out of Cobalt's backpack:

Caltrops, lots of caltrops (SV101, AH101)
An energy rifle that is nearly bigger than herself (SV101, AH101)
Numerous little robot drones (SV101, AH101, Bright Star)
Various grenades (SV101, AH101, Bright Star)
At least two acid mortars (AH101)
Force field generator bot (SV101, AH101)
A giant nerf mallet (Bright Star)
A gatling nerf gun (Bright Star)
A large number of beanie baby dolls (Bright Star)
A laptop (only seen once in SV101)
A nuclear handgrenade (AH101)
A Nearly-Infinite Mashed Potato Producer (AH101)

That's all that I remember pulling out of it so far.

And now for something different, an odd thing that no one seems to notice.

Cobalt Stinger's backpack is obviously a portal to hammerspace. Khellos is the only one to ever have a character notice that and it was way back in SV101.

Cobalt decided that enough was enough. She switched to the gatling nerf gun and started shooting back at everyone who was shooting at her.

I've never had a reason to give any of my characters musical skills, so it is assumed that they have none.

Although Cobalt Stinger did DJ the party in AH101, so I guess that counts for something.

"Hey, that's Cobalt's mallet." Anna said as she saw Danica run into the fort. Soon enough she heard Cobalt shouting as she ran towards the fort herself.

One of Marcus' water ballons hit Cobalt, getting her wet again. She retaliated by shooting a nerf dart right at his head.
