Firewalls have nothing to do with it, either you're behind a super-restrictive web proxy or your browser is jacked-up.

Anyhow, I hope the wings are resizable or at least have two sizes like the capes which come in short or long. I like the wings but I don't want them to be so big, especially on characters who can't fly and use superjump instead.

Neither of Anna's parents was a demon, the 'genes' have been in the family line for many generations, perhaps all the way back to the fall of the Mu. The powers have been recessive since then, passed down the generations until some reckless CoT mystics gave her an infusion of magical energy big enough to 'throw the switch' and cause her to transform into her current form.

Just get a can of Endust Electronics spray cleaner. It's safe to use on LCDs, I've been using it for years and it's never damaged a screen. For best results use a soft paper towel, not the quilted kind.

Naga barely felt Rosie's teeth, her scaly hide was pretty tough already at thise age. She finally grew bored of wrestling with the puppy though and went off to find something new to do.

"RARRR!" Naga howled as she pounced Rosie in her puppy form.

Meanwhile, Kathode had some back into the room after the rain had stopped and climbed into the trunk. She came out wearing a leather jacket, oversized pair of leather boots, and a leather cap. "I'm a biker! Vroom!"

Anna had pulled out a spiked collar and a toy guitar. "I'm gonna be a rock star!"

Some people might wonder about the meaning behind Cobalt Stinger's name. If not then they are about to find out anyway.

Cobalt Stinger was originally a Archery/Devices Blaster I was planning for Issue 5 when archery was announced. The name Blue Stinger was already taken so I used Cobalt instead as Cobalt is blue in color. When I5 came to test I was so mad at how badly all of my Invuln characters had gotten nerfed that I quit playing CoH entirely.

When CoV beta began I got an invite in the first wave. When /Traps was introduced I made a Rad/Traps Corruptor named Cobalt-60 that I grew to like. Cobalt-60, by the way, is the radioactive isotope of the element Cobalt.

But when CoV went live I found that name was taken, but Cobalt Stinger was still open so I used that instead. The stinger part does make much sense without the bow and she doesn't have blue as a costume color, but just how much about the Cobalt Stinger character makes sense anyway?

Additionally, she was originally meant to have a connection to Malta, so the wacky codename could have worked in an organization which has a gunslinger named 'Kitty Kat Bravo' but I dropped that connection while I was rewriting her backstory.

"AAAAAHH!!" Kathode ran from the room as the light rain began to fall, with little bursts of electricty coming from her body. "Me not grounded!"

Meanwhile, Cobalt was digging through the costume trunk and found something. She put on a pirate hat and then ran over to Naga, who was sitting on the floor nearby, and plopped a similar hat down on her head. Thrusting a plastic sword into Naga's hand and brandishing a toy flintlock pistol in her own, she announced "We're pirates! YARRR!"

Naga curiously examined the sword in her hands.

Heh, I deliberately set all my girls down to the lowest setting so that they look somewhat realistic. Anna's fine for a girl who is supposed to be 19 but Cobalt is still a bit too well endowed for a 16 year old, even with the breast slider on the lowest setting.

"Hmm, activities," Kathode heard Moonscribe murmur. "Wonder if dey be more fun in rain." His hands were twitching ominously already.

"No!" She shouted. "No more water! I've gotten wet enough today already!"

Sienna stuck two fingers in her mouth and whistled loudly to get Naga’s attention then she used her repel field to launch a sandwich to Naga.

Naga spotted the incoming sandwich and deftly caught it in her mouth, chewing it a bit as she swallowed.

When I was planning out an Electric/Electric Brute and trying to reserve a name which was not already taken, one of the few names was Cathode. Then I thought "what the hell? I don't have a catgirl villainess yet" and used the name Kathode instead and gave her a tail and kitty ears.

Why is it spelled with a K anyway? Because Kathode's real first name is Kathryn.

Anna has gone through several incarnations. She's been a Dark/Dark Defender, Dark/Dark Scrapper, and Martial Arts/Dark Scrapper but none of them fit. I was totally thrilled when CoV beta came and I rolled her up as a Dark/Fire Brute, the powers fit like a glove.

Anna's not a drama-[censored], but her backstory was always meant to be somewhat tragic. The only thing I keep adjusting is her balance between good and evil.

Her crush on Shiro began as a running joke. The two characters exist on the same server and have been on the same team a number of times. The rest is history.

Naga merely smiled at Feliks with a smile which went practically from ear to ear, containing top and bottom rows of sharp little white teeth.

Naga took one look at the food which Essex had laid out on the plate before her. Taking it in one hand, she opened her mouth far wider than any human could, swallowed it in a single gulp, then looked at Essex as if expecting more.

Anna was tempted to find out what was really in Shiro's cup, but then again he was a boy and it was probably already infected with cooties. Then she noticed Devin's entrance.

"Now that...is creepy." She said.

No, that'd be an open circuit. A Short means it's on all the time now. Now you're a super-fun-happy robot!

Damn, I have it easy compared to Devious. My biggest hurdle is keeping from falling behind in Calc 2 and Physics as it's been two years since I've even seen an integral or calculate derivatives, so I have a bunch of 'Calculus for Dummies'-type of books to give me a crash course in remembering all I've forgotten while simulataneously trying to keep up with the new stuff.

The first Calc 2 test is at the end of this week and the first physics test next week, so time is running out to study enough to ace those tests. If I don't do well on the first test it'll only get worse as the semester goes on.

At least chemistry is easy so far but it's too easy right now as it's Chem 101, which I need to get into Chem 142 next semester. Then from there I'll need a few more years of chemistry as I work towards a major in Chemical Engineering.

Funny that I've been running into so many engineering students lately.

So anyhow, who's going to host the halloween RP this year? Maybe Essex can take the kids trick-or-treating in Bright Star.

I just returned to College after a two year hiatus. Monday through Friday I have Engineering Physics at 8am, Chemistry at 10am, and Calculus 2 at 1pm. Then I go to work for 3-4 hours (so my income has been reduced as I used to work 6-7 hours a day) and come home all tired and I'm lucky if someone other than me has to prepare dinner. That leaves me very little time to post during work breaks and in the college computer labs between classes, not fun when you're GMing a thread.

Which is why I only do one RP at a time. Bright Star is an exception as it's basically a 'What If?' thing and exists outside of the overall metaverse in which the other threads appear to be set in.
