Quote:Or the really forgotten one in Founders Falls.Sounds like it's time for a trip to the Forgotten Icon in IP!
Most of this issue is meh for me. I have maybe 2 new characters I'd like to play but have no desire to start them any time soon. The whole power recoloring thing is nigh-useless to me as well, I was happy with the way things looked before and now just have to be annoyed with "ok, WHAT power was that which just went off?" from now on.
I still don't plan to ever play Spines, even with the new options.
No improvements to AE either. Well, there were a few UI additions but the massive nerfing to custom critters for no good reason overshadows them greatly.
The supersidekicking is nice and would have been great before the AE nerfs hit. One of the reasons it was so hard to get a non-farming team going was because you could never find people who were near the same level. -

The hard part was choosing who to submit, we already have some catgirls and demonesses so that narrows it down a bit.
Amanita Infernis, my Plant Control/Fire Assault Dominator. She's a fence who runs a smuggling operation between Paragon City and the Rogue Islands, so I could see her getting into a brawl with either of the girls over a deal gone bad (or interrupted). She doesn't care a whole lot about good and evil as she just wants to make a profit, though she does have some standards.
Oh yeah, don't ask her about what happened to her left eye. That trenchcoat with all the holes and burn marks is a souvenir from someone who thought it'd be fun to mock her over it.
She also appears as an ally in the two villainous AE arcs "MacGuffin Delivery Service" and "A Show of Hands". -
Wasn't expecting that for sure.
/wonders when we'll get a WIP for Vikki. -
For it to work that way then it must require for their to be a massive difference between your rep and the person repping you.
-
That doesn't stop you from receiving rep and comments, it just hides your rep level from everyone else.

Of course mothers always like to say that line and follow it with "Honest is the best policy", which is rather contradictory as you're not being very honest if you're simply withholding the information. -
You'll never get that complaint from me, I'm always worried instead that my petite girls will be drawn with excessive endowment.
Amusingly, in this case it was the tail that got exaggerated. -

Man Boobs
That Lounge Crooner character was just too awesome. Had to do a quick sketch!
And yes, I really did that. Its a bit of a departure. -
Quote:That's assuming that you don't get multiple critters with it at a time, nor have the bad luck to see one in multiple spawns in a row.Transference has a thirty-second recharge time, which doesn't exactly lend itself to "spamming"...that's why I used it on my replacements for Malta Sappers. If you let them live long enough to shoot you twice, you deserve it.
It's still idiotic as powerful End Sapping powers are supposed to be in the Hard rank along with Energy Drain, Power Sink, Drain Psyche, etc... -
i16 isn't going to do jack to kill AE farming. Farmers will be only slightly inconvenienced by the changes by having to have minions and LTs with their bosses, and they weren't farming custom critters to begin with. All the non-farm arcs that used custom critters are getting screwed in a different way with every patch and nerfed for no good reason.
-
Except that all those canon critters that are weaker than Standard custom critters (just about all of them) give more XP. Customs have more powers, stronger debuffs, and hit harder. This is just ridiculous.

Quote:Hopefully we can get them to finally fix the Standard setting for Kinetics first. It was always dumb that Standard for a LT or higher includes Transference (end drain) instead of Transfusion (heal). Now that they fixed Transference in a previous patch, this is putting Kinetics right into "Forbidden Set" territory as players are generally not going to enjoy critters who can spam a -55% end power on them. Certainly not for only 75% of normal XP.Either that or push i16 back a month. I'll just ignore the feature to remove standard powers until it's fixed. No change to what we have now looking at it that way (other than the standard diff change)
Looks like they didn't remember their lesson from when Dark Miasma included Darkest Night as a Standard Power. -
Quote:When a mistake could cause my house to flood? No, they're not equal.Well, let me state another perspective on this. Your sink springs a leak. I show up along with my plumber friend. We both tell you what we think is wrong. Are our opinions equally worthy? I hope not.
However, a piece of art is not going to cause that. -
Quote:You might want to read up on that again. The newest Test Server patch still has Standard being 75% XP, Hard and Extreme being 100% XP, and if you go below Standard at all it is ZERO XP.The second type of mission which will give reduced XP are those with custom enemies who have had their powers reduced below the 'standard' setting. Normally, you can set the enemies' power sets to 'standard', 'hard', or 'extreme' to give them varying amounts of powers. You can also set them to 'custom', which gives them the powers from the 'standard' setting but allows you to choose specific powers to add to that. In issue 16, the 'custom' setting will no longer have the requirement to take the 'standard' powers - in fact, you can even give them no powers at all - but if they don't have at least the 'standard' powers, they will give no XP.
Yep, zero. Even if the critter had a Hard primary or secondary, if the other set is missing any Standard powers then the entire critter is worthless. Doesn't matter if that other set was all Heals and Buffs or an attack set with Build Up and a Tier-9 attack.
<sarcasm>Bloody brilliant.</sarcasm> -
Quote:Because the NA section includes all the rest of the forums. Even Oceania. Can I just welcome those N.A posters to the newly merged boards with the EU?
I don't know why it's not obvious that happened to many of you, but it's clear for us EU posters that you lot got lumped in with us, not the other way around.
Why else would we get our own special section? -
Changes made to "A Show of Hands":
* Added a single Nagan Incinerator to the final mission. Had some room left and thought I'd try slipping in one of the new critters I was working on for a future arc. -
The only line that ever gets repeated is the Defeat line, which will occur if the boss resurrects and is defeated again.
-
O.O
Dammit Eddie, you're making me wish I could afford more commissions. -
Looks like somebody prepared a spell slot for Burning Hands that morning.
-
Either that is a humongous fruit bowl or a really small island. The island also takes up a lot of space, the scene might be better without it.
