Yet the redside does this much less often. They only send you to talk to the first two PvP liasons, I don't remember ever getting sent to talk to the one for Warburg and I know you never have to talk with the one for Recluse's Victory.

They never send you to talk to the Fateweavers, ever.

There are no zone security chiefs in the Rogue Isles.

Only one time do they send you to talk to a contact in another zone and like with Wilcott that can be avoided by talking to Seer Marino before you leave Mercy Island on your way to Port Oakes.

The only time you have to talk to a Broker before getting papers is the first time you enter a zone with papers, after that it's automatic.

All other times they simply use the "This contact has something for you" pop-up when you reach the appropriate level. Really all "go-talk-to" missions should be replaced with that system instead.

Yes, Posi, please fix up the old busted **** already!

  3. Aww damn, my DM/FA Brute was late to the party.

Probably has too much clothing on to qualify anyways.
  4. I can double-tap pretty well with my CZ-75. Oh wait, that's not what we're talking about is it?

No, you just need someone at every banner to kill the monsters that spawn there. Even if it's one person killing the monsters it still counts, I soloed the monsters at one banner and we got them all to become vulnerable, I just couldn't scratch the banner itself on my own.

The only times this even fails is when you have a situation where no one is covering a banner at all. One time people were attacking the spawns at two of them for nearly five minutes and wondering why they weren't become vulnerable before anyone checked and saw that the other two were totally neglected.
  6. I didn't make it into the Best Enemy Group category, obviously the Devs are racist towards lizardgirl space amazons.

  8. At this drop rate it'll be faster for me to just buy the salvage off the market. I haven't seen a single costume salvage drop all week.

    Eerie.
Or he could just be a really good conman with some magic tricks up his sleeves.

Wait, Quantums hurt? Unless it's a boss I pretty much ignore the shots completely since they long ago removed the stun from it. I don't know if it still does knockdown as I slot every squishy with Karma or Steadfast at as low a level as possible.
  11. I only did #5 in the arc that made it to the finals, I guess I'm behind the curve.

I don't see why varied level ranges makes an arc disorganized.
Because it looks half-***** and people don't like suddenly losing powers or being put up against foes outside their range (for example: Malta when you aren't even high enough for SOs).
  13. If nearly getting your soul devoured by demons in "The Amulet of J'gara" (#1709) is not horror then I don't know what is.

That was Dr. Aeon in a thread he made. Great now we have Dr. Aeon in the Shard...
Hopefully that means AE will finally get some of those Shadow Shard maps I've been asked for since i14 beta.
  15. I'm going to submit "Of Futures Past" (#254599) since I feel that it's my weakest arc and never seems to get any plays anymore.

It also has Doctor Aeon as an enemy in the first mission so I hope I portrayed him accurately enough.

Yeah, I just got into my first banner event and was wondering why I only got three badges despite having teammates at every banner and being there to take down the GM.

I had a string of 5 doors give me a boss at one point, sometimes accompanied by other stuff (so far I've seen 2 minions, 1 minion, and one LT appear with a boss). Again, my 50s would mostly sneer at this. My sub 20 or mid 20 characters? Not so much sneering involved unless it's the mobs sneering at me. The probability of a boss spawn seems too high to me, at least at those levels.
Same. My Arch/TA Corruptor was not to thrilled to be running into boss after boss after boss and not getting a single damn piece of costume salvage for her efforts.

Only thing that I could suggest would be to set the map to use the regular Hellions group and add the girlfriends into the special spawns only.
  20. Arc ID: 6017
Arc Title: Mercytown: The One with all the Fish
    Author: @Luminyx
    Morality: Villainous
    Length: 5 Missions
Description: Trouble brews in the waters surrounding Mercy - will you be able to defy an ancient goddess and her people, all while enduring the insane ramblings of a mad scientist?
Quick Review: Pretty amusing and Doctor Krylov is made of win. However I think he could stand to be bumped up to Lieutenant for the last mission, or at least give him Power Shield so that he stands a chance against the Corolax. Also some color highlighting would be nice on the arc and mission titles, as well as making it easier to tell which parts of the dialog are supposed to be myself thinking instead of the good Doctor talking. Also the third mission has been hit with the spawning bug and it's full of almost nothing but identical Hellion Girlfriends, that ought to be fixed as well as all the bombs in the fifth mission being in the same room.
    Rating: ****
  21. Just got this +rep comment: "Go to RoosterTeeth.com"

I didn't plan to before and I have even less intention to now. This smacks a bit of when people were trying to bump up their arc ratings by 5-starring your arc and then implying that you owe them one.

That's assuming that it was someone from that site who wrote that and not someone on the forum who didn't think that a post or PM would have served better. Of course if I really gave a damn I'd have googled the name already.

Build Up, Aim, Rage, and Instant Healing are a few powers that should not have been allowed in the Critter Creator. Why these were allowed but not other powers like Increase Density (Kinetics) or Clarity (Sonic Resonance) I will never understand.

Hmm, any citation of that? I'm doing some research for a potential AE arc and was kicking that idea around.

When I was a bit younger and most of my friends still lived close by we regularly held LAN-parties. One guy was often annoying because he insisted on the games always being new and would whine whenever some of us wanted to play something older for a bit, as if somehow that game was never fun to begin with despite us all knowing how much he loved it when it first came out. No sense of nostalgia I guess, he never understood why the rest of us admired classic cars more than the latest models either.

Also how 'bout removing the "Talk to Hero Corps Rep in Kings Row" as well. I notice we never had to waste a trip talking to a Fateweaver redside.
