I thought the thread was about you at first.

It's so fated, I'm pretty sure the release date was inscribed on the Mayan calendar somewhere.
I believe it will happen too despite Lucas saying oh I wont do it. If nothing else then gives people a full 9 episodes as originally slated and they can just remake them 20 years later from start to finish.

  9. I accept my fears and bad memories. I've learned too many hard lessons to erase them. We feel the things we do for a reason.

You're too kind. Would you hold a second though, I think I have the Lorax banging on my door again. That dang hippy keeps telling me he speaks for the trees. He needs to get a job.
  11. Too much dialogue in comics...Chris Clarmont. That's first thing that comes to mind. The guy would have the Xmen spitting entire paragraphs of dialogue in time they throw a punch. On top of explaining how their mutant powers worked every time the used them. He's had some great stories but he would sometimes overkill the text boxes.

Me too, and this my favorite... I love when they stick together. Or when they're made into hotdogs...oh the many great uses they have.

I mean, you use "alot" all the time and I've never once said anything about it. Yes, it bugs me, because it's either "a lot" or "allot." Also, the English-as-a-second language thing is another reason I don't normally go around correcting people. You never know. Of course, if someone is being particularly annoying, a nice little spelling rip is always delightfully cathartic.
I'm aware of the rules of engagement; I simply opt to ignore them most the time. (other than when spell check happens correct it for me.) I'd hate let little crap like "alot" bug me.(which I know you're keeping a count...when first poster to hit 1 million alots you plan nuke their hometown from orbit as that's the only way be sure.) Some things people use all time to where become it's part of our "slanguage". (granted some misuses jar me like the first time I heard Missy Elliot say...Get your hair did...*shudder*. It takes some effort.)

The word Since get's misused tons, as people often don't reference time with it. Such as Since you're going out to store....blah blah. Not "Since dawn of man (when Ironik was little hehe.) ...blah blah. I usually try catch myself from using it improperly. Just it's so deeply engrained that one sometimes slips under my radar when I'm trying to be proper.

Which if I'm going rip on someone I prefer come up with more inspired jabs than simple spelling errors. That's too easy and hardly worth mentioning.

I wish they'd do a series based off War for Cybertron...that'd be so much win.
Although they would have to get Frank Welker to do the voice. Still not a huge fan of WFC Megs voice...
Prime and WFC story is connected actually. WFC and the story exodus are supposed serve as the basis for next couples series/toylines to come. Whether the art direction changes is another story but they are working off the same background and try connect as much as possible. Thats the intent atm anyways.

    From TFwiki

Team Prime live on Earth as a pre-emptive measure against the return of the Decepticons, forming an alliance with three teens as Megatron returns having discovered a rare element that grants him rule of life itself. The show delves into what it is to be a Prime, and though in continuity with Exodus and War for Cybertron, its Earth-bound backstory is reminiscent of the live-action film series.[5]

As for voices of Megatron, I prefer Fred Tatasciore over Frank Welker's current voice. He's gotten older and his Megatron gotten a bit too raspy and high pitched for when he voiced the movie games. He definitely sounds different than his original voice back in the 80s as Megatron. I don't hate it, but he just seems out of place with the rest of the cast having such deeper voices. Frank Welker is an amazing voice actor, just I prefer both Weaving or Fred over him as Megatron as of now. WFC megatron felt like a nice mixture of the smoothness of Beast wars megatron(Yesss!) and the aggressiveness of Movie Megatron. It made him both powerful but charismatic. It really worked for me.

May be Welkers voice for Megatron will sound better than his 3 most current takes on the character.(transformers beginnings, both movies games...and This!) I read something that he will try for a wider range so he might prove he's still best man to be Megatron. Just as of now he's not my first choice.

I still hope he finds plenty of work as I didn't mind him as sound wave one bit. (his classic Doctor Claw voice.) I really like the guy as the Interviews of him and Peter Cullen Working together on the transformers games was awesome. The two seem like such great friends, as you could tell they really like working together. Admittedly there's alot of nostaglia with it all. So I can see why people want that to happen again.

Someone got the touch heh. My best friend's wife made an optimus prime outfit too. It was really bulky and she couldn't move much in it. So she slipped into a nurse outfit to dance with all other girls at the party. Was mostly couples at the party, but was some sexy outfits.

I bought a costume this year and went as a knight. I'll post some pictures of stuff later.

That's not casting any judgements on the actual quality of the series; I'll save that until it's out. The animation looked just fine to me and it at least looks to be pretty action heavy. And hey, Arcee's in it! Get Black Arachnia in there and it'll probably be the most estrogen any Transformers series has had, ever.
Couple shows have had two female characters in it. Animated so far has the highest fembot count. Elita-1 /blackarachnia(a two for one shot.), Arcee, slipstream, strika, first aid and one last one I wont mention if you haven't watched the entire series. (might been few others in the background I missed.)

Only for the 1986 film could he afford good ones...too bad he bought them at best buy so they burnt out quickly.

He'll probably have it when he's in battle mode. It's harder to make facial expressions with a character who's face is covered up. I don't mind them having it armor up in combat as splits the difference.

  20. I'm sorry it's a gosh darn forum, and I don't need feel like everything I am submitting needs be freaking graded. The world has enough red tape; I don't need it in my off time when I'm trying relax. I sometimes have alot to say and don't quite get to the end of my thought till I need rush off to work or some other obligation. Perhaps I'm arguing with several posters at once and trying get a word in edgewise while thought I'm projecting is still relevant. Mistakes happen but trying invalidate me will not invalidate my point. If that bothers you, please by all means put me on ignore.

I've dealt with tons of people had english as a second or third language over the years on the web. So I naturally fill in gaps where people make errors.(which if you go to Gamefaqs/comic forums, Superbot400 makes some really difficult posts to understand at times due to him being from another country. I usually agree with his posts as he's a smart guy. He's getting better though.) That's why I wouldn't ever made the shallow judgment someone is or isn't intelligent solely based on presentation. The intent is far more important than the manner it is expressed.

I'm chaotic by nature as I let whatever thoughts come to mind fly when I in a rant, and presentation comes secondary. I try clean it up a bit in afterwards. Anyone that willing give me a hard time over that simply has made the process of knowing who I should ignore that much easier in return. If they're that hung up on that side of things, chance are they weren't too worried about having a real discussion anyways.

Edit: Where hell were all you language nazis when Woot! found it's way into english language? You failed us all.
  21. I figured I got past animated looks , I can give this one a chance. Animated intially wasn't something I was all that interested in, but as it went on it proved have the best writing since Beast wars. This might possibly follow suit, so I see no reason be negative till I get to see a bit of it. I might even then check back on it later as Animated started really pick up in the second season. I have faith this could be worth watching regardless of less than ideal designs.
  22. Here's a few others that someone posted awhile back. (I had the link on my facebook page still since I figured my sisters would be amused by it.)

  24. I took the quiz and got Twilight Sparkle Which oddly its rather close to my personality. I have a feeling that name somehow might be related to Stephanie Meyer though. Hopefully the pony doesn't sparkle in sun light.
