I would like the 12v12 as a one off over Easter and the 8v8s as a weekly event tbh. whats every1 else think? As far as Union v defiant goes, Unions best PvPers are spilt between teams *IMO* I would like to have a 8v8 sometime with you guys, Unions best Vs your best.

can any of tonights teams not make it weekly on a wednesday?

Would have been nice to of seen a German team take part.

Ive spent ALOT of time perma caged, perma taunted and TKed in the past. Proberly more than most.

With taunt and TK you can still attack and be attacked. At least you have a chance of adding to the team. With cage you can do nothing. Cant attack, cant be killed, you might aswell not be there. Cages biggest problem is the -FUN FACTOR. For monday nights i would still like to see it used but not on the same person all the time.

Impressed by the empath? I thought he did ok nothing more then that. He managed to keep him self a live. He failed to keep his m8 alive against globeys team and that was the only team that had a very nice damage output. Not saying he was bad but i've seen loads better.

The emp done a great job. The more match's they had togeather the better they got. We didnt have a death till we met them and what did that get us? 2nd place... So what if they had a few deaths on the way to winning the comp. If Sham says the emp was good then you know he was good

I agree with most of what has been said about the cage so far but lets not take anything away from the winning team. I tried every trick in the book to get the 2/3 hits in that i needed to get the kill but each time the sonic timed his cage perfectly and the emps healing was great. I tried attacking from range, tried going in hard and fast, tried to waste the cage when i was in PS, tried getting defiance from the imps, but none of it worked. Like I said the timeing was perfect and to keep that up for that long was great.
In the second final I took a full tray of purples and used 5 at a time which worked well (till they ran out ) but as it was outdoor map I couldnt get the kills fast enough and the emps healing was again great. Indoor map I reckon I would have got the 5 kills i needed using this tactic. Our best chance would have been for me to have a load of BFs and for Psy to quit the match at the start, at least then they couldnt cage me if they wanted to win

Also big thx to Psydock and to everyone that took part, was a fun night

If its a pure ranged blaster your after then Ice/dev might be the way to go. Devs gives you TD which lets you drop an acc in exchange for a recharge in your ice blasts. Ive mine slotted 3dam 2recharge 1 end red. You dont have build up which means you lack the burst damage of of other sets but TD gives a perma damage buff as long as the toggle is on. It, aim and the extra recharge in your attacks makes up for the lack of BU imo. Plus you get caltrops and web nades which is great for staying at range.

If you look back at the thread for the last match's you will see I posted that I couldnt make it till 8.30 and that time was agreed on Oh one last thing. If anyone takes a sickie and cant play anymore their team needs to find a sub from their server fast or they fight with a man down

Think the way it works is this...
If Defiant win the 1st match the PvP is over for the night.
If Union win the 1st match its best of 3

Myself and KS had two matchs against 2 guys form Defiant tonight. They played a ice/kin cor and a cold/cold dom. 1st time ive seen a dom in the arena and I was well impressed. The damagea he could take was amazing. Our team was a ice/en blaster and ice/kin cor. Cant remember the guys names but they worked very well togeather. They said they would come to PvP on moday night if any of you guys wanna fight them im sure they will give you a match. We won both matchs but was nice to see new faces/builds in the arena

SS' main use is to move while webnaded (and before I have to point the obvious AGAIN, I'll add most of the time you don't use webnade *alone*, you do it with some kind of strong slow), which is why it can be useful to have 3 runs when you have slots to spare (unless you always pvp with a kin). Why use SS over CJ/SJ when you're not grounded, unless you're chasing someone? Bunny-hopping FTW.

If slowed and web naded you will still not get away if you you have 3 SOs in SS. 2 is all that is needed. If this happens then you use temp power TP to get away.
