    Sheesh, poor guy.

Rolls out some great news and keeps getting backhanded compliments.

No kidding. I don't think she was being rude though, that was said in fun. I do think, however, that the devs have some kind of office game where they all get together and see which comments they post get the most flames. They probably score them by (the nicer the dev comment) x (the meaner the flame response) = the most points.

Tell me States, well, PM me if you don't want to post it, do you chuckle reading the forums, or do the flames kill you inside?

    Ok, that's enough from me.

    [/ QUOTE ]

They do. A lot of the posts crack them up. Scroll down to the games section, quite a few 'game' threads were started by devs. They have a very healthy sense of humor. Heck, States was asked who his favorite posters were once, he named PuffyShirt.

    [/ QUOTE ]

You went and stole what I was going to post.

And, what cracks me up is that Puffy showed up and complained about it too ...

To be honest, almost all of these things have been in development WAY before New Year's. We started working on the Defense change back in October. But we really needed to test things and make sure our solution actually worked. That's pretty much the way of things.

This is not the dev you are looking for...

They're just messing with us. Keep us off balance, never know what to expect kinda thing...

    Really? Six months?

    [/ QUOTE ]
I think it was more like 3 Issue updates a year, but I'm having a lazy day after finishing up a jury duty stint, so I'm not gonna dig around for the citation.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Don't quote me on that six months thing either... that was memory, and mine's poor.

    [/ QUOTE ]

I remember the six month thing too. That they were going to start slowly working towards that... soon...

On vacation - first in Indianapolis with my in laws for Christmas, then off to the Fiesta Bowl with my wife to see the Buckeyes. I was back at work last Wednesday, but there was a lot to catch up on.

    1) Welcome back!

    2) Get back to work!

Issue 7 - Tentative plan for releasing the "Feature Update" to the website is mid February - so you might as well settle in for about a month of waiting unless a dev decides to drop some hints.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Mid-to-late Feb. isn't good for me, I have a prior engagement....my wedding So how about we speed that up....

No....well then....can we at least get the name of I7?

    [/ QUOTE ]

Maybe... can we get an in-game wedding?

    PS - Gratz!
  10. Well, the ferries in in CoV don't crash the game anymore.
  11. After all the problems with the winter events, perhaps a little more internal testing will be a good thing.

CuppaJo is still on her vacation. Unless she's just hiding from me. Which would be hard because I'm such a rabid-fanboy-stalker.

    [/ QUOTE ]

I went on vacation to hide from you A-Cat.

Yes - I was busy scaring myself half to death playing F.E.A.R. and The Movies for a week after the regular holiday. So if you sent a PM and haven't heard back yet - give me a few days.

Of course you already know I7 includes 40-50 content for CoV, and as with every update more art updates, missions, and quality of life features. The other items in I7 will be revealed when we get the Feature Update.

    WELCOME BACK!!!
  13. The devs are hiding from the conspiracy nuts. Just to mess with their minds. Those zany devs...

Lol, and a heart attack is averted knowing that the AASQ and other fun loving cousins have found a home.

Was trying a few refreshes to see what happened to AASQ in the General section.

Although the danger now I think is that these are all in one place and more easily targetted....

    [/ QUOTE ]

OMG, I so agree. I was about to start the pm brigade to find the dome.

    Oh, also, thanks Cuppa.

    I generally play a En/Rad Corruptor.

CoH characters include an AR/Fire Blaster and a Claws/Invul Scrapper.

The character is, but the devs play more than one character...

    Thank you for posting that.

Assuming all goes as planned, the event shall begin sometime this afternoon. Villains just aren’t morning people after all…

Where's Recluse sleeping? I got a cup of ice that says the event starts now!

Statesman likes controllers. I think he plays Mind/Storm a lot.

    [/ QUOTE ]

For awhile after the massive controller changes hit test, he was asking controllers for their builds and playing them to compare notes.

    I don't think he liked my grav/storm...

I agree. We shouldn't have to farm for hours to get content. Just make the badge for any family and people will naturally earn it as they level up.

The point of making the contact unlockable is that not everyone is supposed to have it....

    [/ QUOTE ]

But, should unlockable be the same as hidden? I just like some type of hint or something in-game for the non-forumgoers. Without the guide to unlockable contacts, they might as well be hidden. And who wants to study up on how to get any contact?
  22. [ QUOTE ]
I'll take a look at those badges for the contacts mentioned.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Could you guys check all the unlockable contacts? It just seems kinda pointless to need a badge for a contact that you wouldn't normally get until you outlevel the contact. Or maybe add some in-game hints or something, so the non-forum goers could have a chance at the contacts.
