Sorry too hear what happened too you. Thought it might have been an RL situation that took you away from the game.

For myself i blame microsoft... and their little security update that somehow blocked my internet that weekend.. grumble.

Well we are all different Jawdropper. I can only tell what I feel about that arc (but it is one of the best).

Westin Phipps for me is one sick twisted git. But he is also an importent reminder. I would advice everyone to do that arc and when you have done those missions it is all right to feel guilty or ashamed.
Had you not its something wrong. The story is so well written that it is baffling. So even if I have only done it once it stands out. This is evil.. this is evil pettiness in the form of one sick mind. Its almost as i can hear alot of emphesis on the "s" like a snake.
Westin Phipps is actually the closest to real evil that we get in the game.
Do the arc or do not its up to you and then feel the anger afterwards boiling towards this npc
But perhaps he is abit misplaced.. here you are, soon too take your fight and be part of Project Destiny... and your sent do destroy schoolbooks and various other petty stuff.
And yes Dreamweaver the comment you gave about those who work with/for him.. just makes him even more evil.
Somehow when the mission creator comes... perhaps there will be some stories around westin phipps.

My other big favourite is Vernon Von Grun. As allready mentioned by other players. He is fun. He is mad and he treats you well, for he needs you. His laughter makes you grin "laugh with me".

I also like Dmitri Krylov, (pity Boris the russian is only a broker), Psymon Omega, the ruthlessness of Efficiancy expert Pither. Pity most of the npc's treat you like an inferior grasshopper or tool...

I know i was detained.. to log tech issues.. A certain little windows security patch that took my internet connection away... *grumbles*

I'd like to be able too
1. copy our own chars into the mission.
2. make Story arcs. Taskforces.
3. That the taskforces must have some sort of limit, but will give a rare recipe as reward (the nice little window we get when we succeed on the taskforce).
4. Import our heroes/villains into the mission as friendly companion npc, hostile npc etc.
5. Create cut-scenes
6. Use several villain group in the same missio/story-arc/taskforce
7. An implemented costume design for making "unique" villains/heroes as opponents that you can place on the map/story-arc/tf etc.
8. Access to all ingame items
9. Perhaps make new zones.. By using midnighter base teleporters to places.
10. Would be awesome if we could mix and make our own minion villains, but i doubt such a feature will come. The share balance of enemies.. *shudder*

Will probably think of more later.
However I do think we will only be able to use npc's that is currently in the game. I hope we will NOT be able to award badges, or new badges. It would be too silly.
Perhaps a ranking system of the various made custom made missions.
Definitly a way for US players too play EU Missions and EU players to play US missions.
Love many of the other suggestions in this thread.

Dear Devs, Free costume tokens will NOT change anything. Try making a new character on the current live servers and you will see the problem.
The following skirt options are bugged, even in the costume creator when you create a new character;
Look at Female-skirts and the following 4 ones: mini-2, mini-3, pencil leather skirt or mini leather. I tried making it with mini-3 and as expected: what showed in the costume creator appeared live. That which was before on the side is now in front... not quite decent for a heroine too run around in.

Also I got a character with mini-1 and a pattern, the pattern is still the wrong place. Thankfully mini-1 do not have any slits so its still decent to travel around in... but it does not look good with its pattern on the front instead on the side.

Sounds lovely.. i'll definitly try too be on most of the events

Did a little Validate files, ran the ccleaner and ran a through disk frags.. worked well after that... weird.

Just a thought.
Do you run a wireless connection or not? Do everyone that go desync run a wireless? I run wireless and sometimes i get the ghost city bug. It may be related, i dont know.

I've run Pingplotter and my address towards plaync's address.. sort of gets some "spikes" if i read it correctly at address 6 or 7. If it is related I dont know.

My little thought though is that the desync happens when for a moment we looses some packages on the way.. or they delay/tarry whereevery they do such... on the way back too us.
If my thinking is wrong, please tell me and i'll remove those thoughts

I run a Nvidia 8800 GTS. I have updated too the newest nvidia driver.
AMD Athlon 64 x2 Duel core processor 4600.
Atleast 3500 Ram.
I run on XP Professional.

Up until this week, i have not had any crash problems. However today was the first day I experienced it.
I had entered a mission and got one or two smaller lag spikes at first. They stayed for approx 2-5 sec, then it was a little playing then another lag spike. Until the big and major one came. Now the entire game freezes. i am unable too alt-tab, however my skype call still works.
Then the crash comes. It is a bluescreen and a restart of computer. I fired up CoH again then finishes the mission and enteres the next one, then the same thing happens again.

Now this crashing thing started to happen about 4 hours ago. Prior too that I was hit by the ghost city bug a few times. And earlier today (i have had some marathon).. no problem what so ever.
Relogged and then finished the mission then went on another mission and got hit by another such crash.
I have done no major changes this week... not even smaller. Logically I should have had alot more crashes this week if it was a driver issue. This problem baffles me.

Been helping a few fire/kins with my fire/fire. When the Fire/kin had too take a little break, the others asked if I wanted too give it a try. I said ok.. just give me lots of inspirations ;D
It is doable, but not with the same speed as a quick farm team does it with. With Consume you will not go empty on the end, its the green bar that needs replenishing.
But then i have dropped most of the dots... as my playstyle did not like them...

Also, check the comics, Kalinda is mentioned even there... in the Siren's call arc with Manticore kidnapping sister psyche and going "rogue" too recluse...

Our architect has had a lot of fun with the "magic desks".. (as said its an old glitch)..
But for those who did not know about it.. its a nice find

I dont know about base wish list. But i know there are general ideas on the US forums.. And I think there is a suggestion post containg spesific items and to some degree on how they could be gained, somewhere in suggestions. But a general wishlist... *raises an eyebrow* I sure would love seeing one.

Sounds very interesting. However Im happy that Lady Arete is now in the NHU. She is a sorc... enchantress, wizardlike spellcaster Storywise she has been in the city a few years before the rikti war, but she will have searched for items and knowledge through many magical contacts. If at all possible, could perhaps be contacted for help, info (secret membership in the magical order) etc, through m.a.g.i.

Not playing though until closer to new year.. (on a comp without coh)

I do hope it gets an expansion.
Cause we did find out that the base cannot have "unlimited" decorative items. Our base was the base with the longest loadtime (no dev was anyway near it)
We now have to be very .. very careful with what we place inside the base.
We have gotten a lot of unused prestige now.. which at the moment stands there only to pay the upkeep.
We cannot upgrade the plot, due to above reasons.
And being blessed with a very good architect, we have simply begun making a "second floor" (coalition base)

(we cannot do above, cause if we do.. we will loose the base.. as in just be given the entrance foyer... wohoo we crashed the base loader )
Getting more baseitems would surely help alot (and i mean it)
