Quote:Global Name is the global handle u get when u first started to play most likely your first toon u made. basically it would be like @LSK for me, or @who ever it is just a couple of examples.Hi again
What do you mean by Global name? Account name?
Also, I will probably be on my new character - Gracious Grace for awhile : )

Quote:Like I said before my fire tank has taken on AVS infact I soloed the marin jenkins with him on +2x4 with no problem.Pure fire tanks are probably the most damaging tanks going. But Willpower is a great tanking set all round really.
Soloing an arch villain would be tough on any tank IMHO, but if its out and out servings of pain you want with a non-fire tank, then might I suggest Shield / SS for that? Rage in SS combined with against all odds will really help you put out some smackdown. And the defences of Shield should be better than fire. -
Ok i can show up today hero lady side kick, vill i will bring a brute

Quote:That is a very good Idea to do that TF is a good way to lvl up as well.
BTW, OP: Regarding leveling up, it's a common request to "power level" to 50. If this would be your first time, I'd recommend against it. Leveling occurs quite speedily these days, so "regular" teaming will get you to the high 40s within the month. For a player reacquainting themselves with the game, I'd go natural the first time out: Get the feel of the game dynamics, the various AT roles, your powersets, time to ask questions as you go, etc, especially if your highest toon was only lvl 10.
You might want to include your global here, or in your signature, to let others know how to find you too. That's the best way to reach people in-game, since you can chat with them no matter what toon they're on, good OR evil.
Cheers!

Thanks you 2 but the reason I took melt armor was so I could solo stuff like avs and have some type of debuff with it. But then again with my fire/fire tank i can cut through some of the AVs by myself without it.
-
I would like to but I have some plans that I can not afford to miss hopefully next week I can attend.
-
First off tanks are tougher when it comes to damage dealt to them, but brutes do more damage. Second off it is up to individuals and there play style. I have a brute that's ss/wp and a tank that's wp/ss. Tanks do not get a fury bar, while brutes do and that is there inheritance power. Tanks get Gauntlet which increase your taunt on the tank to get the aggro off of squishy. You can not have a brute without fury. Ether way you go just do not forget Rage in your build. It will increase the damage you deal.

Quote:No end issue before lvl 26? I have a ele/ele tank and i am constantly running out of end who is lvl 23 atm. Also with Electric Armour, you never have to worry about end issues again post lvl 26, just steal the endurance from the bad guys!! And of course, there is that vulnerability to toxic.
No matter how heavy end usage your secondary is, Electric looks after them just fine! -
Quote:I also like to add that TFs are a good way to lvl when you are low lvl I have lvled lots of toons that way. Ya farming is ok but like grey said there are other ways to make inf and merrits. If u do hami at all and instead of taking the incarnent reward you can take merrits or u can take the Hami IO and try to sell it at WW. But some times the Hami IO is not worth as much as some of the others.Getting a decent IO build doesn't require farming or an SG or grinding. Sell what drops to vendors and spend a few minutes at Wentworth's once in awhile to see if you have any recipes that sell well. Pretty good guarantee that any rare or uncommon salvage will be worth a little cash, especially in mid to later levels.
Even better, just gather merits as you are playing things you like to play. I am able to slot a Numina's or Miracle Unique on each character, plus some other more rare IOs, just because I play story arcs with characters, as well as TFs. The merits really do add up. You can also do tip missions once in awhile when you feel like it and add up hero or villain merits that way. I hate farming those, so I just play them once in awhile and let my hero merits build up (usually when I don't have time for much else than one mission).
IOs are more of an investment than just buying a slew of SOs (though not that much when you consider you have to buy those every 5 levels, and you can get away with only creating and slotting once for IOs), but you shouldn't see it as a required farming or grinding thing. Play what you want to play, have fun, and you'll get enough inf to make a decent build. -
I am not really good at mids but I am trying my best at it. My problem is trying to figure out the enhancements for powers and what would be good in what. I like your feed back on this build.

Well that was an interesting TT first we kick the ole Pally around with only 7 tanks ( 1 was lvl 50, nxt highest was 30, then 28, then the rest was under lvl 20). Then we did a couple of radio mish in PI where we got an 8th person but after a few mish we disbanded so Kanga can do some RL stuff. But I was not done with playing tanks just yet I went back to my main tank and did a MoLRSF and got the badge.
Yes on my fire/fire tank and was the only tank on team no brutes there either.
-
Well i had the same issue for a bit but I decided on taking spiritual and ageless on my fire tank. I know it is an end hog as well as dark is but with 1 minor difference consume comes back up fast but some times I do not even need it. I do not know what build u have to compare it too.
-
Quote:Ok i got the discription off of mids i20 so i did not know it got changed but I will look into it with my tank. That description is out of date now. They never changed it when they made the change to how it works now.
FE is supposed to do extra fire damage with every attack now, regardless of it's type. Looks like they forgot Normal pool powers though. Still, as long as App and Ppps work that's not too annoying. -
According to what the description says FE dose boost your fire attacks for quite awhile. Also increase the damage of all your other non-fire attacks for a short while. So u might not see it in boxing because u might of used a little after the affect of the second. It may last maybe 1 or 2 non-fire attacks.
-
You dont need to give it a stealth IO in SS just that on will work, plus u have to rember that a fire tank is more of an offensive type tank. That in it self kind of defeats the perpuse of a tank if he can not be seen. looking at your build you might want to take 1 of your IOs off of your stanima, and put the slot in boxing and use 2 absolute amazement for a little better end recovery. I see you want to a quicker speed on your powers that also can be a bad thing like said before Fire tanks are end hogs and if u use your powers to quick u might end up wasting end in the end.
-
I have ran both trials on my Fire/Fire tank and yet to see a VR I have gotten lot of Rares on it. Even on my troller that has lots of AoEs i have yet to get a VR on that one either.
-
Ok first off why the heck u have stealth? your a tank u can not get aggro if you can not be seen. I have a fire/fire tank that has a full set of oblat in BA and i do not have much of end problem. Plus I took it way sooner then u did. That just leaves 1 question what is it u want out of it?

somebody must of activated the cut scene

I don't think that was all Norwegian. I under stand some of it being said in German. I think its about a guy trying to find himself. Thats what I get from it.
