Quick we need to bury this information before Perfect Pain comes to tell us she was right!

And yes. i did mean Standardized. You see, to alter the way SFs reward merits on the 18 hour limit of Diminishing returns they'd have to revamp how the game sees them, as I'm sure it's identical to TFs except for their names. You'd need to create a separate code-base in order to get it fully functional. The separate code-base being "Strike Force" as opposed to Task Force/Co-Operative Task Force.

That, in itself, is an incredibly amount of work just to implement this idea. However it gets a bit more difficult when it comes time to implement due to coding artifacts, glitches, and updates. You see, even when two items seem -utterly- unrelated there's still the chance of coding conflicts and glitches or bugs. This is why the Female Arachnos Soldiers recently lost their collars for no quantifiable reason.

So I'm going to vote "No". If you want to farm merits run the Strike Forces, then the Co-op TFs, and then hit Oroborous to run some story arcs. And anyone who can run ALL of the Heroside TFs in 18 hours or less is a danged MACHINE. I mean ALL the Shadow shard TFs and the others? -wow-.

I thought I already mentioned that...
  5. PvP is funner when it's not in a desolate wasteland. The goals and shinnies in the PvP zones are to make them more then just arena matches. They are part of the PvP experience. If you wish to partake in those shinnies you should be willing to accept the price.
  6. I bet we could boost recruitment if ladies got our bump mapping back!

It is when it's something for entertainment. When someone feels shorted they stop feeling entertained. Fair is a very important part of gaming.
  9. I don't see how recoding the system on a per mission basses so redside is effected diffrently is easier or more likely to be done then the addition of new content.

So we are penalizing people for hoarding or "storing" as you see it..call it what you will. I'm saying...no **** sherlock.

We really shouldn't have anything in our base that allows us to hoard and negatively impact the supply on the market. If we do, we should be penalized.
The best way to alleviate hording is to encourage spending by giving more options not penalizing. Which is why there are so many ideas of "new" uses for inf that doesn't eject it back into the economy.

In game taxes to drain INF may work but would generate a lot of unpleasantness and is unnecessary.

There is nothing right in this post...

And I never said it was a cure by any means. It's a suggestion to curtail hoarding and implement a money sink.

You already have personal salvage storage and a personal enhancement tray. Base storage only encourage hoarding and since most people DO use storage it's a great way to introduce a money sink.

An influence sink that works isn't going to be a popular one. :P
Unless you add an INF sink that produces something new instead of adding a new penalty to something already in use.

    A 3D Option?

The big issue with 3D in this game is that it uses OpenGL not Direct 3D.

    Sure!
Memphis_Bill when someone is spewing semi random because they want attention it's best to ignore them.
  15. You know an auto stocker that added items at the end of the day for any that are not for sale would cause any inf spent on them to fly out the system.
  16. Well the badge isn't thrown off by trades so I suppose an inf based timer would work...
It would also mean you would have enough to earn a level so it may be a bit fairer then time

If it was inf base dI hope it would just be an internal thing and the timer would say a % of recharge.

Prefer just a simple in game timer myself.
  17. ...just like a level up...
  18. Rain of Fire from the mouth would be neat. You lift your head up and spew sparks into the sky up and then they rain down.
  19. I'm a bit hungover it seems so I'll keep it short.

At level 50 you get a new power on a long in game recharge timer that simulates a level up reward (full Health/Endurance and insp parade). The recharge would be about as long as the average 49-50 (aren't levels 40-50 all evenly spaced?) climb is but since you choose when it goes off after that point it does have more utility (right word?).
  20. As long as it was only available on unslotted IOs this would be awesome.

PvP in a PvP zone is not griefing.
  22. I agree Blue side needs more PvP accolades ^_^.
