You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

As mentioned before I19 is most probably on the beta server not the test server.

I still consider guns and bows tech myself ^_^.

    my vote: yes to all.
I'm pretty sure rallying people to spam the devs is against the rules some how...

    I don't think that's actually a change from before.

  10. I think we may be healthier then other things so that model may not be applicable at this time.
  11. I like the way he keeps using taunt and then goes full scrapper lock.

Unless the lost in question happens to be Slag of Skyway, Gruesome of Galaxy, Blast of Hollows, Ruffcut of Perez, Ant of Atlas, Blubber of Steel or Dastard of Fault.

I had a friend who it never disappeared for... and she kept accidentally hitting it (it was apparently right next to a keybind)... Every time I hear that noise of that wand, I think of her typos!!

I say... give it unlimited charges and let us keep them forever!
It's almost like having a power that one shots ANY npc of a faction and counts as defeating it would somehow be exploitable.
  14. So what would DPs new secondary be?

So even if you think the devs made a slight error in power order for Regen/Willpower/Invuln, its a whoppin 1 level wait to correct the error and the Tier ONE (In EVERY case) for these powersets is a power I would take eventually anyway.

They could fix it, but its really a minor, AND Personal Opinion whether it should be changed.

The ONLY Standout powers that I could find were Alkaloid (Poison) and PFF (Forcefields).

Thats it 2 powers out of 85 forced picks. And PFF is a power one should take eventually anyway, so in reality, that is ONE forced pick out of 85 that seems really "OFF" to me.

/sarcasm COME ON DEVS, COULD YOU FIX THIS PLEASE /end sarcasm

Alkaloid allows a MM to keep his starter pet alive to keep soaking up damage and taking out the NPCs. Envenom is neat but at level 1 do you need it?

Not to mention the buffs for taking down the baddy.

I love getting the strength buff on my brute.
  17. Combat Attributes fudge a lot of numbers. I don't think anyone on the boards ever got an answer as to why.

This causes a major slowdown for some reason (25-50%).

I cannot set the slider to the actual resolution. However, if i don't use the ingame options window but edit the registry directly the game runs just fine, and the options aren't auto-adjusted by the game.
Anytime you set the options to something the menu doesn't have it will reset when you open the options. If you've got it working why do you keep opening the options though?
  19. What's funny is the few people I know with similar issues all have cats.

    Cat hair is the Devil!

I bet the OP doesn't even have a cat though.

    I've got nothing.

All pets (including pseudo-pets) have a +dam cap of 300% (for 400% total damage), regardless of the AT that summoned them because they all belong to the pet class. The only way around this would be for the devs to create separate pet categories for the pets summoned by each AT with damage caps tailored to each. Though I don't know the inner workings, one can assume that it's not going to happen because either the devs think it's working fine as is and/or it's too much work to create custom pet classifications for each damage cap variant in the game.
That would also allow for pets to be balanced and tweaked per AT...but would increase the work of balancing them as well...hmmm.

I think I'ld prefer this method though.

It'd be different if the posted problem (Brutes not getting their max from 2 quirky powers) was an important balance issue, but Brutes are already boarderline overpowered anyway.
I don't find capped damage under the classes norm refreshing at all.
  23. Old and annoying issue.

Instead of building a new wheel they used the one Microsoft provided while making the patcher.

Not sure if it's ever been largely complained about.
