Mountain time zone is always left out. No love at all. -
Avoid Ultra mode and switch to Atari 2600 mode. And/or buy more Ram. Ram solves everything.

Nevermind then... I'll just make another SG only race. Later all.
-
To do a race like this I need help from my SG friends. And they all want to try to win the costume code. So 100m buy in does 2 things. It will let me give those SG friends something for helping and will cut down on how many people really want to do the race. If I made it free... everyone would show up and it would make the whole thing really hard to manage.
At the same time... if there are no takers I'll just do another SG only race. Doesn't matter too much to me. Let me know. -
So every year I go to the comic-con. And, every year I get a comic-con costume code (or I get a few). So I have one this year and I want to give my pantless friends a chance to win it. I'm gonna hold a race. The race starts at the top of Atlas. I then tell the racers the points they need to go to. At each point they give a candy cane (provided if you need it) to one of the "race helpers" and go to the next point. After hitting all the check points you go back to the top of Atlas and give a candy cane at the finishline. After making sure the winning toon hit all the check points, the grand prize will be awarded. The comic-con costume code.
The buy in is 100 Million infl. (

So I was at the Comic-con panel today. And I was hoping I'd have big news to report back to all you pantless people, but sadly it's not much. They show'd the same video that's been posted before. They talked about the stuff we all know. It was fun, but nothing wonderful.
BUT, this was new/s to me. The incentive for staying a hero/villian (also going all the way hero/villian) is big. Heroes and villians will have a lounge that they can enter where they can purchase purple IOs and PvP IOs for merits (unclear if it's the same merits...hope so). So if you are a rogue or vigilante you can't get into these areas (no purple buying). Of course you can go rogue for awhile, earn merits, and then go back to evil (or switch to good). Then spend them on purples.
Last, they made a joke about how they can't talk about city of heroes 2 w/o being fired. To me it sounded like they were... at least looking into the idea. I'm sure this was video'd and will be out for you all to see. (I taped it, but I'm not gonna post it).
There you go... it's what I know. I didn't leak it from beta so don't hate me.
OH and No "ALPHA SLOT" in Going Rogue. They're gonna wait till I19 if I remember it right.
Peace -
My fire/fire/fire kills max'd aggro groups in 3 AoE hits. So saying it take 2 hours is a bit of an uneducated statemant. My stone/fire/earth does kill slow. Granite having a -damage the killing is slow (his rech and speed are IO'd to be above average). But don't dis fire tanks.
Shield rocks. btw. -
It's just me killin' myself in WB most days (err nights... errr overnight).

Was that EST or PST. I'll be there either way. If I can get into the Hive.

Just wondering if the REAL issue is that the OP has his toons power level'd. I mean I'm sure that if we handed a lvl 30 DA over to anyone, they'd have issues. If you play the toon from the ground up you'll know the little tricks to manage the toon.
I am also under the impression that the OP just wanted everyone to say "Your right. DA is a horrible set and drains way too much end. They need to fix it". I love my spine/DA and have never had end issues, but I know you don't want to hear that!
I say stick with your sheild toon or what ever AE baby you got in the works. IMO -
I think Starblazers is better suited for a MMO. I'm kind of surprised no one has developed it yet... I bet it would be huge over in Asia.[/QUOTE]
Not as big as a Knight Rider MMO would be in Germany. They love David Hasselhoff in Germany. -

My best farms are when I use a tank to herd/kill and a kin to buff/kill. I use 2 accounts on the same computer. I herd the baddies to their doom. The more people I have on the map the less infl/xp I get... but I really just do the whole thing for fun.
When I want infl I use both accounts with either 2 fire/kins OR 1 fire/kin and 1 spine/dark scrapper. I then kill -1/8s till I get a few purples. I clear the map fast with all the damage and I do as many runs as I can I an hour. Sadly the price for a purples is dropping. I got other ways to farm that can make even more infl.... but if I put it on here they will find a way to nerf it. -
I gotta say that I play my toons as if I'm not gonna ever get a heal or a buff. It doesn't matter what AT I'm playing. And... if I am the one with the buffs, I try to buff as best as I can to avoid anyone asking me to be buff'd. So if i'm on a team (even with my stone tank) and a kin isn't SB'n me.... oh well.
To the same point. If I was on a team with anyone that was requestion a please and thank you for anything, they'd get the boot OR I'd take my ball and go home. If you think your Speed Boost is a gift that you should be thanked for... well you can find another team. One that spends it's time typing thank you instead of kicking ***. IMO. -
Yeah... you have to pick what your after. If you just want purples -1/8 and tear though as many as you can till you start getting sleepy. If you want infl. then I'd say purple farm and sell them. If you want good recipe drops and salvage I'd say to make an Oro arc in a 30ish lvl range (most people want lvl 30 IOs).
Just saying that your question is very common and vague. There are tons of farms. If your toon have good def or res to fire then farming the Infernal mish is good. It all depends on what you want to achieve and what you have to make it happen.
Ticket farms.... Purple farms.... Salvage farms.... Rep farms.... Dairy Farms.... -
Quote:Hard to sight balance reasons on powers that anyone can get as temps. If the OP was asking for a new power... sure, cry about the balance. I mean IDC either way on this one, but it seems that all making a pool comprised out of temp powers would do is cut down on the few minutes of wasted time it takes to get the powers. I'm sure we've all played long enough to know which oro arcs to hit up (and not even finish ) to get a few temps. And we take a minute of two at WWs to buy a temp here and there. Heck, I had a consept toon that just used temps and he did really well.... or have almost certainly been deliberately left out of power pools by the devs for balance reasons (i.e. most types of debuff powers).
This is a game based on the desire to play as your favorite superheroes (without directly copying them). Well if the hero I like uses a sword and a gun and they had a pool that would let me get which ever my AT didn't give me and it was a temp power in the game anyway.... why fight it. I can just as easily buy revolver temps at WWs (not expensive at all), but give me the option to pick it as a power.
Side note: I had a consept toon that just auto-completed missions. (Name was : Lazy) -
years and years ago healers were "needed" more often. People didn't have all those fun IOs and fancy builds. Also when the game population was 50% noobs who aggro'd everything in sight. Now most teams know what they are doing and in later lvls when the baddies get better at face-planting us, we all use IOs to make that less an issue. So healers are now overrated... but I still smile when my team has one.
One side note: When tanking from time to time a team will want me to herd. I love herding ,but it goes alot smoother if I get a few heals. Give me a kin and I'll heard to the taunt cap anytime. -
Blasters are fun. It's nice that you can attack while mez'd. Not the best for going solo (for me at least).
I try to tell new players to get the Ninja Pack. Yeah, it's $9.99, but Ninja Run is so worth it. In the game you get your travel powers at level 14. With the Ninja booster pack you get a slightly watered down version at level 4 on all your toons. Well worth it. The other booster packs are skippable IMO. -
I'm not joining. Not a fan of joining things. I joined the military once and since then I'm always aprehensive about joining stuff. I joined a few things and still regret joining. But if I were to join (I do like plow missions) I would have to ask. Is this a "Looking for a team/TF channel?" and/or a "chat channel people talk continuously till I have to turn the channel off?"
Nevermind, I'm still scared to join things. Oh well. -
My favorite answer to this question is from a quote by Willem Dafoe. When he was asked if he liked playing good or evil characters. He said " There's no difference. Good or evil all men find themselves to be rightous ".

Bases need to be more usefull. I mean, let us buy a tailor shop, a merit vender, a mission computer (that has missions: like radio/paper missions). But most important, give us (for a ton of prestige and hard to obtain badges) a danger room. A room that would be like AE w/o rewards, but you can do soft respecs to test out powers. You can then test out power combos and even team work against what ever baddies you like to fight. No rewards would mean no exploits. This is something that would keep me playing this game.
Oh a SG jet... I know... you think it can't be done. It would just be a portal like an ourboro's portal. Clicking it would put you on a "map" that is the inside of the jet. You then select where you want to go. So really no different than Oro, but let is go to any zone.
Adding these kinda things would increase SG numbers. I mean who wouldn't want to join the group with the danger room and the Jet. IMO. -
If it ain't broke... don't fix it! I have no problems with my GA. More options would be nice... but I can say that about most things in this game.
