To put the game's best foot forward. Praetoria is visually amazing. It's exactly what you'd want to show off in a trial.
  2. Just start completing arcs, once you get below the threshold ( not sure what it is, someone will pop in with that info) then Ramiel will speak with you.
  3. In the Going Rogue beta, the doors to the PvP zones for a time were not restricted based on alignment. A vigilante could enter Bloody Bay through the villain entrance. You were immediately attacked by all NPC's in the base, and then the drones got you and zapped you to the hospital, inside the villain base. Rinse and repeat the dying, zapping, and rezzing.
A short time later, they made it so you could only enter the zone through your native entrance.
  4. It's something that's wrong in the ambush/patrol code for these mobs. They must con as "enemy" to the normally spawned mobs in the mission. Can be pretty funny to watch!!
  5. Haven't done it in a while, but I have spawned Kronos by autocompleting the mission that triggers the ambush, then zoning to an eligible zone.
  6. I loved the bit with Bob Singer...who writes their own name into a show!!! LOL
  7. Ummm...what Super Respec??
  8. When you levelled from 29 to 30 you crossed into the next tier of missions. Any alignment or morality missions from the previous tier are dropped and you'll need to obtain new missions from your new tier. So just street hunt a bit and a new morality mission will drop.
  9. Yeah, it stinks that it's only on her arc that he appears. I think I need him too ( my PB is at 13/14 AVs for the badge).
  10. I like "One Good Spider." Attacking Grandville solo, getting cheered by the citizens and rescuing a condemned prisoner. It's what being a hero is all about!!

Edit: I forgot about being attacked by the Rogues Gallery at the end, more heroic fun!! (Thanks TankShock!!)
  11. I found that a way to deal with Trapdoor solo is to drop a pet of some type (Shivan, SnowBeast, War Wolf etc). This way, you can run and deal with the clone while he's occupied with the pet.

will my rogue progress diminish? when do i get these fame points and villian merits?
ty to anyone who has the time to clarify.
It works like this, once you have filled an alignment bar, the next tip that drops will be for the alignment mission. You can opt to change to the new alignment then.
When you change alignments, all progress bars reset to 0.

If you want villain merits, do tip missions choosing the villain option (as a villain). Then do the villain alignment mission. This reinforces your alignment as a villain. The first time you do this, you will get regular merits, the second time you will get a Villain merit.

Lastly, the fame points are just a way to show how many missions you have run the past 20 hours ( no more than 5).
  13. Check out Digital Storm Online ( www.digitalstormonline.com ). They seem to be what Alienware was years ago.
  14. It's really fun to read the "Well, I can hear you" post before the "It's like you can hear me" post. Very wibbly wobbly!

    Permanent Ban

My guess, and this is only a guess, is that there was a large amount of unauthorized account activity (login attempts, master account access attempts and who knows what else) and NCSoft decided the easiest way to combat this would be to lock down the accounts until it all got straightened out.

I agree, this could be an explanation. We have seen in past episodes consequences of past and future selves meeting. In "Mawdryn Undead" we see 2 versions of the Brigadier touch and cause a huge discharge of energy (where we first heard the phrase "shorting out the time differential"). In "Father's Day" Rose holds her infant self and causes further damage to time. Even 2 versions of the sonic screwdriver touching caused a discharge of energy.
My guess is that the Doctor was able to use the TARDIS to minimize or prevent any problems of past and future versions meeting.
  17. I'm sure there's some wibbly wobbly explanation why there wasn't a "shorting out of the time differential" when they hugged. When Amy met her younger self in "The Big Bang" there were no consequences, the assumption being it's Amys from 2 different universes.

I LOL at the Psychic Paper failing...."Finally a lie too big"

Actually Calvin Scott is in Underground Neutropolis. He's reachable by phone. You can't go back to him in the Tutorial section, that's gone once you zone out.

    1) If I supposedly made my toon a stalker, isn't she supposed to be a villain? What is she doing helping the cops like Officer Flint in Praetoria in the tutorial? Are free trial players forbidden from starting out in the villain area? Will I be able to change alignments?

    2) Also, I can't seem to rescue those hostages because there are too many of them & I am only one!

    3) Where is "Praetor Duncan", so I can talk about advancement points? I just turned lvl 2!

    4) I joined the "resistance". Will there be a point where I can join them instead of the "loyalists"? Which brings me back to #1: Will I be able to change alignments?

    1. The 1st time you access the game now, it starts you in Praetoria. After that, any character you make will have a choice of the 3 starting points (Hero, Villain, Praetoria)

    2. Hostages in the tutorial? Not sure what you are looking at.

    3. After you talk to Calvin Scott ( if you joined Resistance) or Marchand ( if you joined Loyalists) you exit through the door behind them. When you zone into the open world, she is right in front of you.

    4. As a member of the Resistance, you are working undercover. You will have options to switch back and forth through Praetoria.
  20. Good luck Castle! Thanks for all you did for CoH!!
  21. You can craft as many as you like. You can only have one slotted at a time, you cannot switch them in combat, and it's a 5 minute cooldown between switches.
  22. I believe you hold down the Control key while clicking the power to turn on Auto.
  23. If you are doing a flashback, the large Crystal will teleport you to the contact. If he's not easy to find, just return to Ouro and use the Crystal to get to him.

I wonder what the point of the "Your reputation in the Rogue Isles has grown ....." message is then?
It's supposed to give you a hint that it's time to move on to the next zone because you have outleveled the zone you are in. It's really hit and miss and doesn't really work as intended. Probably a very low priority fix.
