  1. Everything already listed in this thread, plus Kat and BS for Brutes, and Mace and Ax for Scrappers.
  2. I was under the impression that while it was possible on some small maps(like the map used in the Teen Phalanx arc), most maps were set up pretty specifically to disallow it. (For instance, so you can't make a big empty map with a single glowy for no-risk insta-win.)

    I know I tried it on a generic warehouse map once and couldn't get all the enemies to disappear... Maybe I gave up too quickly.
  3. I don't think we'll ever be able to make an MA mission resembling the "conference" mission from the RWZ. You know, the mission that starts out with a bunch of NPCs all milling around, some of which you can click for a box of dialogue. Then you go out and click that glowy which spawns a bunch of mobs around the map. Then you fight your way through them to save the hostage.

    I really wish we could make a mission like that. Though I'd settle for the simpler "click a glowy in an empty map to spawn enemies" deal.

    You know what's sillier than an island being broken into four islands by a volcanic explosion?

    1. Two of those 'islands' are in fact *not* two separate islands, but are together still as one island.

    2. Two completely different islands somehow leapt into the open waters in between the now fragmented islands.

    ... It'd be kinda cool if they combined Cap and PO into one big zone in-game. Use the ferries to get from one side to the other quickly, or take a nice scenic trip over Mt. Diable.

    This. I found I did pretty good damage without combos in the early levels. And by 26 my attack chain was complete.

    Widescreen?

    Unfortunately CoH suffers from the "you see less when using widescreen" problem. But it still looks real nice.

    I use a DVI cable to my 37" and used to run it at 1280x720. It looked fine as long as I had the AA turned up(via Nvidia's drivers). Now I run it at 1920x1080 and it looks even better.

    Any way you can look into going the other way with this as well? There are animations available for custom NPCs that players don't yet have access to.
  11. I think at this point they might want to just throw out their list and start from scratch. Or at least use the current CoH chat filter list instead. That list is still a little heavy handed, but at least it's not completely ridiculous.
  12. Something I'd really like to see to alleviate this issue is being allowed to pick a particular spawn point for your objectives. I'm not talking about exact coordinates, but perhaps an actual list(simple numbered dropdown would be fine) of all available spawn points in the map, so that we can place our boss or glowy or patrol or whatever at that same location, every time.

  14. You can get the same mix of Lost/Rikti if, for instance, you're level 29 and run a Lost newspaper/radio mission. The 29s will usually be Lost, and the 30s will be Rikti. Seems like it's WAI to me, at least in accordance with the rest of the game.

As an addition to the level spawning oddities, it seems that if I create a custom group and include the Banished Pantheon(40-54) "RandomMinion" option, it somehow changes them to the 20-29 range, and during the mission they won't spawn. Instead they're replaced by whatever else is available(all bosses if you have a boss and no LTs, for instance.. it can make the mission a lot more difficult than intended).

    Putting all the different kinds of minions into the custom group list individually seems to work just fine, however. Unfortunately I didn't think to try it with RandomLieutenant or RandomBoss.

    I will probably spend 10 bucks for this. I've been wanting a tux with tails for a long time now. I don't have any female characters, though, so I probably won't use any of those options.

    I have a few suggestions/requests though:

    Please make Capes and Wings available for the Male/Huge Tuxedo jackets. From what I'm reading it seems like Females can have such a combination, so surely it must be possible for Male/Huge as well.

    A cummerbund option in Belts would be fabulous. Perhaps a bit more work than simply making capes/wings work with the tux, but it is desired.

    Finally, as someone else posted, a nice "loosened bow-tie" option would be wonderful. Again, a bit more work than the cape/wing thing, but also desired.

    The costume parts look great though!
  20. I was always under the impression that MM maps are invisibly split into separate, defined sections, and that stepping into each new section spawns another group of Longbow.

    Not sure about 40+ levels, but I tried this with my Nin/Nin stalker at 38, using Council from a paper mission. Rest is only one slotted for recharge, total health is 885 with no health-giving accolades. Also, I already have Hard Case. Went into a room with 2 Vortex Cor Leonis Fires, even level, and a vampire thing.. Killed the vamp, went into rest and let the 2 Fires hit me with all my toggles off including hide. They killed me quick.

    But, I went back, killed one of the fires, went into rest and let the other one start hitting me. His attack "chain" consists of one punch which does 419 while I'm in rest, and the flamethrower attack which does 8 ticks of 52 each, and takes him roughly 10 seconds to repeat it. Been letting it go now for about 45 minutes and I'm still not dead, so I'd say this combo seems to work.

    Edit: And apparently I just got the Ironman badge while writing this post. Only 9 mil to go! (Assuming the patch to make the requirement Unbreakable is real and coming out soon.)

    Do the characters you use this with have some other form of knockback/down protection? If not, has that affected your PVPing ability, IE. do you tend to get knocked around? I'm thinking about respeccing into this for the added power slot, low end cost, and char concept, but doing so would leave me without KB protection, which is making it difficult to decide if I should.
