All i know is. Use either death shroud or the fire thingy one and the fury bar goes up much quicker than on a dark/inv.

Not sure it builds Fury up, I'm sure that the damage increases with Fury, tho

It does help build fury...as does the fire aoe too.

Stone/Dark or Fire/Inv??

We were all going to start again. But i'd rather use either my fire/inv brute or stone/da. Those first 10 levels are a pain in the backside.
I don't mind exemping either.

I have a fire/inv and stone/dark sat at 11 and 10 respectively. I quite like both.
Was thinking perhaps dark/fire. Very good survivability i think, not many attacks, mostly aoe damage. Could be quite boring though.
I don't want to go energy melee - had enough of that with my blaster. If we have a kinetics i'd go fire/stone. Is anyone planning on playing a kinetic build?

It doesn't have to be villains Jiaozy, it was just an idea. As it's only 1 day a week, most of us don't really like villains, so won't be that tempted to play outside of our 1 day a week spot.
i think CoV will be better in a regular team too. personally i hate CoV, but i think that's because i've not been on with people i know. I think it'll be a good learning curve, plus, as we don't have to have a strict pentad team, you get to play what you want - which helps.

On a side note. How does everyone feel about having a 'grease' theme. I'm going to re-roll Danny Scorpion. Call the VG the Scorpions, and dress something akin to a 1950s James Dean type look. Pink Ladies/Chacha dress if you're playing a female toon.

Whilst trying to sleep and failing miserably last night i was thinking of this.
How about we all roll a villain instead.
I don't play CoV much, mainly because it's difficult to get a decent team.
Pick a villain. Any villain. Doesn't matter what mix we have, just that there are 8 of us and each of us enjoys the specific AT. And once we start. There is no going back. No re-rolling - which is why i suggest picking an AT you want to play, even if it's 8 stalkers!
We have 10 weeks approximately before issue 7 is released. That gives us 10 sessions, of maybe 5 hours per session. We can get to maybe lvl 30 in that time i reckon. And once we get there, we may well get on a roll and want to go all the way to 40, hopefully getting there just at I7 hits - i'm sure once in the 30s it'll be more than once a week too.

Same with the heroes really. AOE PVE pwnage would be good though. Pick an AT, any AT as long it's and AOE carnage specialist.

Well lets make this a total PvE pwnage team.
I'll make a fire/*(not sure what yet) blaster. AOE madness. Get a kinetics defender. We could rock.

That's what i'm suggesting too. 1 night in the week when we all play. No sneaking on between times. All stay at the same approximate levels.
I don't mind rolling another alt for that.
Not sure what kind of blaster tho!
Choice will depend on if we are going to be a PvP team or not.

Bah. i can't get the levels when we do just one day a week when others are off levelling in-between.
If we made it 1 day a week it'd be great. We could do missions inbetween task forces...but everyone is playing outside of the sg as it were.
With Deluge wanting to level Del too in the rangers. Might be better if we 'disband' and all try and meet up in the early 30s with hopefully, an octet of toons!
