Well, i got to lvl 32 today and my sonic nova. Not slotted so totally useless at the min.
However, i've been lucky enough to play during a time when a couple of free respecs were handed out and i've had a go with all of the powers.

I'm more single target blapper though. I didn't like aoes...even sirens song. I don't want to put a mob to sleep just for them to wake up when hit with an aoe. Leave the aoe controlling to controllers i say.
Anyhow. I could give you a detailed reply on the full range, but i'm not going to.
Suffice to say. Sonic is a good single target set for me and the way i enjoy playing. The three single target attacks cycle quickly, and though not slotted, i think compare with any other blaster set out there for dps.
Oh, and screech is great - Single target ranged disorient - best power in the set i reckon.
Try the powers out. Use a respec or 2.
I think there is a lvl 50 sonic/electric out there on Union...was in the Sex Kittens sg before it got 'renamed'. Anyhow, that build was totally different to the way I envisage mine to be. To each his own.

And on a side note, have you seen the damage output of a Fire/* Brute?!?!? Holy HELL!! When slotted with SO's, base damage is higher than Stryke Force, not counting when Rage kicks in!! (I think this is probably due to having not 1, but 2!! Build Up powers )

I'd be up for manticore on saturday with sunrod...or if katie tf goes ahead, i'll exemp down with '46. (10 lvl 53 so's w00t!)

CJ and Acrobatics won't help at all with the stuns. I have em both on '46 and get stunned all the time. They don't protect against disorient...which sux imo.
Teaming with a couple of trolls will help with this though. I know it's not a great defensive bonus you get, but i've found it does help.

If vds can't make it, is everyone available to start a bit earlier, say 19.00 or 20.00?

And Ji, whole point of this is that we go through 'all' of the levels together...but if you must change...it might be a while though before we all get to 20!

I doubt it. However, if we get stuck, my pb has nearly finished the arc. Lvl 36 though and i've already done the TF with her. Only 1 or 2 missions left to do before Katie is unlocked. i think. Sunrod has just started it.
