Boost Range i believe is essential for an Energy blaster, it's pretty much perma str8 out of the box with a RECRED in the free slot and u'll definately see the difference, you'll be able to use Power Blast at the distance Snipe can hit so can easily drop something before i gets in range of you. Very useful on outdoor maps.

As i haven't been able to log in for a while i'd imagine i have been auto-demoted. Can't remember what the time limit is.
Anyway, Double or Star, dya wanna promote yourselves if possible. Base will possibly need some loving.

Not looking hopeful for activation at the weekend. Currently awaiting bts checks to activate, takes 7-10 days, Should be done by the end of the week and will hopefully, all things going swimmingly be back at the end of next week.
I may pull a surprise and be on before then, but i'm not hopeful - and it'll be surprise if i am!

I found Thunderstrike to be too slow. Much like Total Focus. Don't get me wrong, both are great powers, but I respecced it out and won't be taking it until lvl 38 (much like Total Focus). I find i do much more dps with Havoc Punch, Charged Brawl, Lightning field on the go and a blast or 2. Tend not to get the endurance lows either as it's quite a costly power. (not quite got powersink yet either)

And for PvP, the medicine pool is very good. Although if you are taking all those pool powers anyway, you'll not have much room for any primary/secondary powers let alone another pool power.

Alternatively, 8 */elec blasters. 8 lightning fields on the go, all with amplify and bu. Although each one isn't alot, the total damage each combined tick would around the damage of an unslotted nuke...meaning everything will be on the floor after the first 2/3 ticks.
Moving through a mission, everyone huddles together creating a moving nuke!

Ok, so you have 8 blasters raring to go in a team.
What combination of blasters would you have?

e.g.

1 x fire/devices - AOE support
1 x fire/fire - AOE damage
1 x sonic/electric - single target blapper with lightning field
1 x sonic/energy - aoe with sleeps and debuffs
1 x ice/ice - aoe with holds/slows
1 x ice/electric - single target blapper with lightning field
1 x elec/elec - endurance drainer
1 x energy/electric - single target blapper with lightning field

So, the idea is you have 3 'blapster' types all with lightning field jumping into the melee, picking off single targets whilst keeping constant damage with lightning field.
The fire/devices lays down trip mines etc and helps pick off targets
ice/ice uses aoes to hold and slow mobs
sonic/energy uses power boost and aoe debuffs to lower resistance and uses damage aoes.
elec/elec drains endurance and damages
fire/fire rains down aoe damage

What are your 'ideal' blaster team combos?

Another really good reason to have this sets is that you dont see many sonic blasters about infact I haven't seen any and Im quite sure that there isn't a Sonic blaster at 50 yet

I'd bet there is at least one. Not me i hasten to add. Was a sonic/elec i teamed with a few months ago was at lvl 47or 48. I reckon they've dinged the big 5-0 by now.
