We'll start gathering in Talos to await Mako's arrival -
This is Kragothe Valour issuing a Call to Arms for any and all available heroes. The Rikti are once again on their way to invade Primal Earth! With the Freedom Phalanx weakened by the loss of Statesman and Sister Psyche it's up to all of us heroes to step up and defend Paragon from this new assault by the Rikti. Amphithea has volunteered to take to the skies and help organize heroes efforts against the drop ships. I will stay on the ground and help where I can against the ground forces. If the Rikti bring any new weapons against us we must be ready to fend them off.
WHEN: Sunday, 8/5, at 6pm EST
WHERE: Kings Row
PHASE 1: We'll hit whatever zone the Rikti appear in first after we are ready and take down dropships for the fun of it.
PHASE 2: After we are done with some dropship fun, we'll hit the ground forces.
*Might as well try to make something fun from the invasion stuff* -
Also if things go well on the MoMagi we can follow it up with a quickie Hero CoP and then Villain CoP.

MoMagi run to Welcome Back Omega
Omega should be back this Friday so Saturday 7/28 at 6PM EST I'll organize MoMagi runs in Pocket D.
Basic Info and Requirements:1) Bring your +3 Badger Character (Badgers get first priority, if we get enough badgers to fill my spot then I'll sit the runs out too.)
2) Non-Badgers that want to help out must be +3 with Hybrid slotted.
Ready to Rumble Badge:1) Upon entering everyone is to move away from the Dream Doctor and the league leader will speak with him to open the portal. NO ONE is to enter the portal until the kill 250 IDF counter appears.
2) Taunters will pull IDF to the sandbags for damage to kill them. Team 1 will pull from the West, Team 2 will pull from the North, and Team 3 will pull from the East.
3) Damage will primarily target Minions and LTs using Target Custom binds/macros provided below.
4) Lores will be dropped once 245 IDF are dead.
5) The 3 AVs will be killed in this order, Shadow Hunter, Nega-Pendragon, and Chimera last.
Triple Threat Badge:
1) Each Team will be assigned an AV to drop to 5-10% HP and hold there
2) At 20% Intervals two people will drop lores. At 100% first two members of each team will drop their lores, at 80% the 3rd and 4th of each team will drop lores, at 60% 5 and 6 will, and finally at 40% the 7th and 8th will drop theirs.
3) Once all 3 AVs are down to 5-10% HP we will wait until Nega-Pendragon's shield is up as the Pendragon team is knocking his shield down everyone will buff up to prepare to kill the AVs. Once his shield is down all 3 AVs will be killed together.
The Hard Way Badge:
Honestly we should get this one every run. If we don't then...
1) We will drop all lores right after the cutscene and hit all buffs then attack Tyrant while 6 people assigned to a light get in position.
2) Once all 6 are in position we will wait for the timer to hit for new lights then close all 6. Repeat once more if needed.
Helpful hints and suggestions:1) Ultimate Inspirations can dramatically sway the fight in our favor, I highly recommend bringing some. They can be acquired from Astral Christy in Ourobors for 2 Astrals each, or from the Auction House. They give you an extra level shift for 3 minutes.
2) A minion counts as 1 IDF same as a Boss, only a minion takes a lot less time to kill so here's a sample keybind/macro to use for the Ready to Rumble badge run:

I don't mind testing at all, this is the first trial that something didn't seem right with. I appreciate the help testing this too.
I just ran another with 24 and again used zero pets, the light coverage wasn't very good at all. We killed tyrant with 12 minutes left. It was kind of tough, but we didn't seem to hit that spot where he is untouchable. -
Further Information about the possible level shift bug:
I took a league of 16 on a Mag yesterday and summoned NO PETS at all (No lores, decoys, any pets), we dropped Tyrant fast. I think we took out the lights 3 times before he was defeated. The 16 was 5 controllers, 1 blaster, 4 scrappers, 3 brutes, 2 tanks, and 1 stalker.
On the trial before that I saw my Spectral Terror at +9 but I was not, to me that's a bug. Pets are getting hit with the level shifts and "stealing" it from us.
Soon as I can run more and test this further I will. It DOES need more testing before being called a bug for sure. It does seem like it to me though.
Also Black Swan:
1) the Timer for the quills attack is broken, it randomly counts up sometimes. I've seen it count up to 23 seconds before she uses it.
2) She has two quill attacks. One seems to be a cone that strips level shifts, incarnate powers, and epic powers(I think epics) briefly. The other is the PBAOE that just strips level shifts. Getting hit by both of those can drop you to 50(-3.) -

There are reports that destroying a Well of Light doesn't give a league wide level shift. The same reports are saying that the buff is only for the team that kills the light, and even then only in an AoE centered on the light. If these reports are accurate, then they should be fixed.
Ideally, what should happen is that for each Well of Light that is defeated, Tyrant should have his level shift reduced. After all, we aren't empowering ourselves. By severing Tyrant's access to the well we are supposed to be making HIM weaker, not ourselves stronger. -
Throughout the history of City of Heroes there have been times where content is too hard a nerf is required to make that content playable. The Terra Volta Respec trial, Keyes Trial, and the Positron Task Force are a few examples of this.
It is wonderful that the Devs have worked hard to tweak the difficulty of this game, but sadly they have continued to miss the most difficult of in game content. I write this post to stress the importance of finally having this massive oversight fixed as quickly as possible.
The issue at hand is that reading needs to be nerfed. It is far far too hard! Please nerf reading so the game can be enjoyable!

Since the MoTrials on 2/26 went so well I'll do some more! I might start doing them every other Sunday and maybe a random Saturday or Friday too.

You didn't miss much on the Keyes run, we only did Anti-Anti-Matter. MoKeyes needs more time and attention than the others.

MoTrials ran from 12pm to 11pm. 6 Lambs, 2 BAFs, 1 Keyes, 2 UGs, 2 TPNs, and 1 MoM. Hope everyone had fun!
