    And I assume also buff infamy, info?
    If it werea a "sprite" like the Northern Lights or other options I might be game; as it stands..meh not sure
  2. Did the Heather ARCH and because I was a villian I let thm both die, then playing with friends to get the time saver badge, everyone else got it bu me. What gives? (petitioned it).

    Non VIP customers can now change their character's alignment to try the content on the other side without deleting thir character and grinding up to a power level where they were before (if they got up to level 20). * VIP customers get 400 points every month that they can apply to this 800 point service...., or as I pointed out earlier, VIP customers can change their alignment for FREE using the in-game system.

    If you want to provide more constructive feedback like "this is a great feature that i would rather get free per month as part of my VIP membership than server transfers or 400 points per month" then we're all ears.
    *Holds up transfer token* Leeloo Dallas Multi-pass now with increased functionality as alignment changing. Now I know what I would do with my 5-6 that are collecting dust.

    I understand the idea of the price: high enough to make people buy a sub. IDK if it will work, but I'll let the market decide things like this price/demand stuff.
  8. This reminds me of the discussion surrounding Director 11 in the Apex TF when peeps were upset that he could hit incarnate level heroes with his >300 DPS....brawl. I'm not sure we are ever going to get the high-level plots you guys want; I think the story is simply there to let me get to the next target. A lot like another storytelling medium that can go something like this: "Hi, I'm here with your pizza. Wow, nice pool table! Do you mind if I do this over it?" *Cue funky music*

    Yeah, this is where I need help to. I can accept that Aurora is powerful enough after I beatdown Tyrka (?) so that she's a vessle for her... fine. What happened to her blue side? We have twin Aurora's now? More to the parrallel existance thing? I did the blue side mission again to see if I missed anything and TTBOMK no such mention of Aurora unless she is subsumed in Wade as well so he has access to two big players powers and houses a second concouseness?!?! Sounds less like he's overthrowing Rularuu and more like becoming Rularuu. Or an alternate version anyway.

    I didnt want make a separate thread, so I'll ask here:

    The scrapper "proc" seems to function as long as its slotted - a flat increase in crit-rate, or does one have to use the power to have it chance to go-off then increases the crit rate of subsequent attacks? Seems like its an always-on deal, but I can be... mechanically challanged.

    Edit: Well not a "flat" increase (percetage increased crit rate), but I'm questioning the mechanism not the math.

  13. 1. The only way I'd buff /SR is to get capped def and DDR w/o needing fight lead or leap pools. Let it stand alone in what is does: avoid stuff

    2. Tanks should be able to resist *all* damage (even if "unresistable" checks their rez and ignores 75% of it) and have a higher cap in incarnate content: 95%. Let their secondary effects from all primary and secondary powers respond to buffs (even taunt - duration and amount taunted) - one could use 7.5% of the damage buff given would be the % increase to secondary effects from the primary set, so 300% damage would be a max 22.5%. The secondary effect buff for the secondary power set would be 4% of the damage buff amount: 12% (all this on top of what they are inherently/already). Taunt would be increased by 33.33% for every 100% buff max double duration/amount taunted if damage was 300% (max).

    Edit: nah, forget #1 that would be too strong

  15. Agreed. Very nice, unexpected fun- especially Rularuu even if i didnt have my Mark III ready for it. And the Winter Lord's prizes where a nice touch (20ccs and 6merits a pop!)

    I agree 100%. Regen is *burst* reflexive regeneration; WP is more "stead-state," or how well can you equilibrate your regen with other forms of mitigation to survive X amout of damage. It would be wonderful if there were a means to make the tools of /regen more timely - maybe put rech debuff rez to resiliance (20%) and/or part of recon (15%) to stack it like toxic rez. Another option would be make IH more instant with some up front healing (like radial rebirth). Yet another, more convoluted arguement, was put up by Arcanaville in making the ticks of healing come more frequently vs. larger "packets" of healing (maybe it wasnt specifically about this topic, but credit goes to her for the mechanism of action).

    Will it happen - very unlikely - regen seems strong if you can anticipate damage spikes so your reflexive regen has to be good. The only reason I dont like it is how active a set it is, and I like to spend more time on "arresting" things.
  17. Some new tech/coding has allowed for certain powers to have certain effects while under the influence of certain conditions: Combat Level in Street Justice, Dual Blade combos, Titan Weapon momentum...etc.

    What if there was a Judgement power that once activated would flag your powers to do the judgement power, so it would seem that a typical AoE would be the judgement power. The down-side would be a flat 400 damage and "generic" AOE, Cone, TAOE, PBAOE effects would be used (you would build towards the shape of the judgement power that you wanted with I-rewards, activate it and the next attack you make would have the corresponding effect). The power would then insta-recharge since you really never used it to begin with.

    Obviously, purely asthetic, but might be neat to have head-splitter, foot stomp, or some other attack be more signature.

    If it were up to me Ninja and Beast run would have the best jump ability.
    Carpet and RB best fly.
    Coyote should have much more limited jump and unmatched running.

  20. I agree with ShredM. I knew it wouldnt last. /Shields gets a lot for a little with HO's bug. I could kind of overlook it due to the difficulty getting them, plus I like the idea of a mutation (the DNA of your character actually changed with HO's!!) when exposed to Hami, but oh, well...
  21. So the "hero" on the Wheaties box isnt from baseball or football anymore (even if those are probably the best marketing "icons")... it's still the same old box and Wheaties! Now, supposedly, my face is on the box. Times change, they'll do what they will, and money will ultimately decide the games fate.

    Anyway, I alway wanted blaster>Blaze on a few scrappers, I bet I could come up with some nice combos with tanker AT base defense numbers/hp/res, blaster attack numbers and debuffs of defenders. Like a tank-mage with Bitter Ice Blast, Blaze, Fire Ball, sleet, some rad debuffs, Smite, LR and Siesmic Smash, defense with some combo of Fire armor and shield and there you go. And allow me to customize animations.

    But for fun, I just want Scrapper Claws Focus on a DB scrapper.

  24. It is an "interesting" marketing move, but I really dont like Statesman. I appreciate the goodie-goodie icon, but meh, rather predictable. They could aways make ghosts/echos/Ouros of Statesman, etc like Numina in FF for story purposes. "Death" in story telling is always interesting anyway, but I digress. I dont like Cole much anymore either after reading Prometheus's assessment of why he's favored. Definately more interesting, but hopefully they'll both bite it, make way for the real players.
