Thanks for the support, guys.
Looks like i picked up a weird time for TFs so i am canceling it as there is no interest in that one.
See you on Atlas Park at 19:30 BST.
And Mereman mate, instead of giving me inf to raise my prizes, you can also pick a winner according to your taste. More winners means more people happy. -
First of all i must admit, i really need a graphic palette to color things properly. With mouse i can't control my actions as i like. I apoligize everyone for crappy colorings but at least you can see your heroes in colors.
Anyway, here is Golden Girl in colors. I cropped the picture to make her face more in focus. Hair ain't anywhere near what i had in mind. Bad coloring but as i think it is not that bad at all (at least i put the colors right, aye?).
Unlimited Golden Girl in color.
I am still trying to make a good picture of Liz.Who can guess making a vampiress would be that hard.

Happy Birthday, Mage! Wish you all the best.

Last night someone asked if there will be a player event for 5th Anniversary celebrations. So here is my little attempt to make a player event for this weekend.
Saturday, 2n May 2009:
Chain TF event:
Will start on 12:00 BST on Saturday if there will be enough people to join. It will include two TFs: Synapse TF + Sister Psyche TF
I chose those two because you can reach the Sister Psyche TF's lowest entery level by completing Synapse Task Force. After completing Synapse we can get a little break for biological needs then we carry on with Sister Psyche.
Your host for this Task Forces will be Subsoil Warden , my WP/Stone Tanker.
Atlas Park Costume Competition:
It will possibly start by 19:30 BST on Atlas Park. As i don't have an 50 still on Defiant, prizes will not be too shiny i am afraid.
Winner(s) : 10 mil. inf.
2nd place: 8 mil. inf
3rd place: 5 mil. inf
I know i said winners, because i usually like more than one cossie on those competitions.
Your host will be Araf for this one and i hope Flying Circus members will be there to help me decide.
For TFs please leave your heroes name and AT. As we will start with Synapse TF, your heroes must be at least level 15 to join.
Costume Competition is open to everyone.
See you in game.
Highest Regards,
Knightly -
Thanks for dropping by and making this spirit filling speech for us who didn't make the training server, War Witch.
I read Positron's announcement, too. I don't think it is that bad but a lady knows best way to talk people's heart.
Happy Anniversary and good luck on your future projects. -
Happy Birthday, Coolio. I hope you will enjoy your day
-
Heh like other little power activision corrections in the past i possibly won't notice but at least my favorite set buffed.
-
Good bye, Doc. Creative section will be a bit empty without your amazing works.
Take care and have fun. -
Good luck and have fun on your future adventures, Ghost Raptor.

I understand your reasons and they are well thought, Leif. My main points are:
1- If any hero zone will be turned into a co-op zone (RWZ is a war zone and every single one is welcomed in the state of War if they will fight on your side), that will sound a bit weird. According to your idea that can be good. Like Arachnos/Longbows in Faultline but again it will gives villians/heroes very limited area to move.
2- As they will make new maps for MA already, using them for a new zone doesn't sounds bad. For Boomtown or the Perez Park the maps you can use is limited to existing ones. I think devs are planning to hit two birds with one stone.
So let me correct myself like this; New Zones possibly please player base more, Rewamping is a good idea and really needed but not as urgent as new zones. Also if devs will pump in new zones constantly they will become like DA or Boomtown in future.
PS: Ain't there rumors about rewamping Shadow Shards last year or so? -
Yeah i am staying as well. I swing to both sides*, love doing TFs and helping people if i can.
*Since MA launch i moved to the Defiant but still has my two 50s and Global Defense members on Union. Araf is became my Defiant main.
See you in game. -
Now this feels like Deja-vu.
Good bye Khaine, thanks for the great site and your contributions to the society of the CoX.
Have fun and take care. -
See ya, Standoff. I hope you can find somethings in future to lure you back into Paragon City.
Have fun and take care. -

You forgot the Hollows as a rewamped zone, Leif. Personally i prefer Croatoa over RWZ any day. Can't say much about old Faultline as i didn't know it.
As you said Hero side have many zones and Villians need new zones. So adding a co-op. zones will be best idea. Not the ones like Cimerora tho', that place is too tiny and serves good for its purpose. In my opinion a in city co-op zones will be a better choice, like some coastal city zone (as they can't add new islands to the game according to game maps) or some other places like long wanted Moonbase/Space Station, Underwater area.
So in the end New Zones is better than Rewamping old ones. That doesn't mean a re-wamp to Dark Astoria or Boomtown will be nice but devs need to please both sides so co-op new zones is the easiest way to please players. -
Well, maybe what i will say is a bit weird but i've been already thinking you needed a break.
I hope you can find something more suiting your great imagination. If not and you miss Paragon City i hope i will be here to welcome you back.
Take care and have fun -
Good bye, Riff. It is a pleasure to know you and i can see your point. I hope you can find what you are looking for on another scenes.
I am not very good at tracking blogs but surely i will try to drop by every now and then.
Take care and have fun. -
Hmmm... looks like i am the only one who thinks this is fun. Especially for new players... Old ones as they said, been there, done that... but for some it is probably fun.
I can't wait to get home and protect lowbies on Atlas, I knew that Kinetics on Araf will be handy someday. -
Well i can understand your point, Devil.
While i am not moaning about i15 also didn't get too excited about future either. If there is somethings i like in the next issue, it is all good (in i15 we will get new faces, yee haa), if not... well, there will be the other one i will have something i like possibly.
I am still enjoying the game... playing this game is something i like to do on evenings.
Oh! Don't delete your blaster... there is Statesman TF still, which is the most fun part of the game -
Happy Birthday, Damsel! I hope you will have a nice one.
-
Hmmm if so many people will leave will they transfer us(the staying ones) to the US servers and give us badges for it? (Like i care for the badges
)
I think i gave up caring about the game some time ago... Gave up my most friends too as i moved to Defiant and solo most of the time.. So i16 or i17 doesn't make much difference for me... will stay as long as i want then leave without any regrets.
I think people expect too much from NCSoft... if you ask me don't get your hopes high... if you like the game as it is now stay, if you don't like it, i am afraid it won't get any better in the future. -
<QR>
Liked this issue... I was wanting new faces for a long time and finally we will get it. More costume change emotes also a fine touch. Well, as i am not a big fun of Council and their stupid bases TF doesn't get me excited.
Some new shinny powers would be nice... well we will see them in future issues i hope. -

Thanks Knightley you always make me feel good.
I'll try to be about for the rerun with a choice of Scrapper, Blaster, Corrupter or Brute. My Emp is now in retirement she only comes out when there is no choice. This old man tasted the action and finds pacthing everyone's butt boring

You welcome, mate.
And corrected that statement of yours for accuracy. -

Do GW or D&D Online have anything like our Mothership/Hami Raids now, where 30+ players can all fight together?
[/ QUOTE ]
Do they need to?
If you aks me its a lot harder organising a team of 12 skilled players than gathering thousands to win by sheer numbers.
Comparisons need common ground, in the same way you can't compare boxes sold to acounts that renew - you can't compare Hami raids with Gw. The system of play is too different.
[/ QUOTE ]
Speaking on DDO's behalf; I also echo same question, do they need to?
All raids in DDO i joined is far more entartaining TFs of CoH (except Statesman TF which requires team work like that raids). Also you can start that raids without full raid team and enjoy/study the raids which gives another flavor to the players.
Don't try to size up CoH with DDO in terms of raids/TFs because most of CoH task forces are similiar missions as well as same maps normal missions use. DDO has unique but lesser missions and more enjoyable stories. Pity that game wasted in the hands of a company like Turbine which rushed it out with the half of things what makes D&D, D&D we know and like. Still they will introduce Druids and Half breed races (Half Orc and Half Elves) as they said they will be in game soon, nearly since the launch of the game.
On Topic; According to my knowledge of Turkish players, GW's biggest plus was Free to Play side of the game. IMO it is too late to drag new players into CoH as new and shinier super hero games are on horizon. Especially one is offering more freedom than CoH and one is offering a great comic world and its trademarked heroes. -
Okies. Contact me in game tonight so i can transfer inf to you.
