True, but i ONLY have powerbolts as ranged from my secondary (well also powerpush) which i tend not to use, as i prefer to use levitate and mesmerise, both slotted for damage (better than powerbolt) with the side effect of a helpful status effect. I just dont see why the primary powers (they are primary after all) can't add 8 in PvP too.

On the distinctly unlikely chance that decorating the base takes me less than several hours tonight, i will be happy to run warburg missions for salvage Jon, esp. as i'm aware i've not been earning any prestige due to my need to hoard some cash up for the impending lvl 45s

Hmm, that sux tbh, as mind/nrg i get a lot of my damage from my primary, and i only picked up powerbolts as my ranged attack (the short range blast i dont count as ranged) which is fine in PvE but in PvP i really prefer not to be in melee either until i have domination or they are mezzed to a pulp

Wasn't just thinking as it's Cals mission but coz you need holds. Kitty can do the AoE immob thing, but her tentacles are slotted for damage, and yo ugave the impression we dont want them dead. I'm just worried about Cals debt situation, she goes down faster than a chearleader (infact she even has the pom poms)

And for Hors d'oeuvres i shall be decorating Spanky's new monstrosity. I shall need a couple of uninterrupted hours in the base to accomplish this so may need to temporarily restrict base access to save me any unnecessary crashes. Apologies for any inconveinience this may cause.

And i suppose this farming business means you will want me as Cal again tonight? Bear in mind that MIs are very very difficult to hold and can kill me instantly, just a heads up.

Superior invis is still good, i'm rarely spotted until i attack.....that or they just ignore me coz i'm useless

In case anyone doesn't know, Steel Talon is a CoH alt of our own DC (atomic tempest or twisted metal). I'd just like to point this out as a fine example of the kind of sportsmanship, respect and manners that would in an ideal world be the standard code of conduct for all players.

Well done hun, this sets a very good example to us all and is one of the reasons i for one am proud to call you teammate and friend.

We sometimes don't appreciate the fine group of players we have in this VG, it only becomes apparent when we experience the bad side of the penny, so a little thank you to ALL those i team with on a regular basis; DC, Cold Spark, Mister, Scarlet, Lady Doom, Jon, Roaster, Xip, Helioss and many others i can't think of right now. Goes to show it really is the people and not the game that keeps me coming back for more.

P.S. If anyone is wondering what has happened to your kitty, i have her chained in my basement while i gorge myself on prozac. normal service will resume shortly

I have one word: Sportsmanship.

It's simply a matter of personal pride, if i defeat someone by TPing them into a warden and getting them debt than i could take no accomplishment in that. I don't know about some people in PvP, by my mother taught me manners pure and simple.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Spanky for his outstanding contribution to my virtual welfare by single-handedly (don't ask where the other is) fixing several of my long standing technical issues, allowing me to have a long needed clean out and run CoH in all it's pristine glory with so far (fingers crossed) zero lag

Ms. Kitty shall attend, as much as the thought of lowering oneself to "farming" disgusts her (sounds dangerously like manual labour) it sounds like good inf and Kitty needs a new pair of shoes (hats, capes, hairdo's etc).

P.S. Yay me i've successfully tricke...er...convinced E.V.I.L to reform our coalition, it's amazing what a fast tongue and full leather catsuit can do.

I find O2 boost handy, i team with an emp but it does help fill the odd gap and has saved lives for sure. I also tend to use it to buff squishies on occassion as it has a nice -sleep and -end drain (i think?) effect, handy for DE and sappers (i do like my emps awake to heal me )

Hurricane is great it's true, takes some practice though, it's rather like telekinesis, awesomely powerful but when used wrongly is a real pain.

Spectral terror is great right out of the box, one acc in mine serves me just fine.

I also use lightning clap, only stuns minions, but then thats usually most of a spawn. With all my other controls i might lose it on respec though, its a busy set and i'm not sure how much it adds overall (if toggle dropping becomes as hard as it seems it might in PvP that will seal it's fate)

Steamy mist is a nice power for the resists, team stealth and end drain/confuse res, but doesn't stack with sup invis so i skipped it.

I wouldn't recommend dropping Spectral wounds. With containment it does very nice damage and only a part of the unslotted damage heals back, and it's all psi dam afaik

Oh and definately get tornado, controversial i know but it's such a fun power, useful solo and against AVs in particular, but thats besides the point, it chucks stuff all over....always good for a laugh

Thats my view of the sets anyway, very fun troller to play i find.

Best leave the decor to the non-piratical here Jon...we don't want to scare them away.

Pish and tosh...on a far more important note i may slightly change the hue of the lighting in the base entrance, i feel it's a little cold atm and could be a tad more inviting. ooooh! perhaps what we need is some comfy chairs, make a good first impression and all....so amber or midnight orange? suggestions on a postcard people, this is very important.

Aye the big nukey thing does sound very appealing doesn't it but trust me...by about lvl 35 on my blaster the shine had completely faded. Major kudos to anyone who can get a blaster to 50 these days....including me Now...healing a tank for nigh all they're HPs from the brink of death has actually proven to be very rewarding...who'd have thunk it?

Well afaik we have lady doom (don't know CoH main) and dark inquisitor (grey templar) from SAAL, sure there are others too.

Ok sorry to post such a n00b question, i really should know as i have a lvl 40 dominator, but how does the primary set add to domination? Do you get a set ammount for each application of your holds in the same way we will now get 8 for each secondary attack?

I have tried looking up guides and threads but this work net connection is iffy to put it politely
