  1. I like the new Glad shoulder, however, it doesn't quite match the one costume I've used it on for quite some time. I backed out of the creator only to find my old shoulder gone, leaving me no choice but to use the new one. Oh well.
  2. lol, my threads turned into a Dark Melee fight.

Thanks for some input. Rolling up an Invul/Fire for now. My Tanking experience is actually better than average for those who questioned. I played Ice/EM for quite a while but deleted it after the EM 'fixes'. Also done Stone Armor(easy, boring) and a bit with WP and FA.
  3. Kinda what I figured. So much has changed. Guess I'll strip my Cold/Psi and dig the Ice/Cold out for kicks and move on.

As a side, what Def/Cont/Corr sets are holding up well at the moment?
  4. Been away a few issues, how are they holding up? As well as Rads? From what I read so far, Corruptors are actually ahead for a change. Worth my time updating pre-13 builds or should I just move on to something else?
  5. Alright Tanker gurus, back from a haitus(i12) and am just looking for something new to have fun with, while still being effective without going bonkers with Inventions-Don't have the time to invest in them anymore.

As far as primaries go, I'm considering Ice, Invul and Shields. I've always loved Ice but with exotic damage holes, positional Defense it seems at a bit of disadvantage late game. Invul I have little experience with but am willing to give it a go. Shields is something I'm not completely sold on but it seems to have better overall Defense than Ice with an offensive nature, yet my test version from closed beta doesn't seem to hold up as well as my Icer did.

That said, I need something that can solo well as well as team, PuG's through TF's of all sorts, without giving up too much damage, won't break the bank and is ultimately fun. No Energy Melee and would rather not do SS.

    Cold/Psy

This is what I have currently, mind you, it hasn't been updated since i12 and was more PvP oriented. Enjoy.

    Cold/Psy

I'll have to redo it in mids, must have deleted it but I'll dig it up.
  8. I dunno about heroes but one of my favorite vills is the Clockwork King. One of the few groups I don't get bored of fighting, unfortunately, they arn't around long.

I also like Dr. Vahz, though the minions themselves suck..the Dr. gave me one of my first oh [censored] moments.
  9. For Tanking purposes..and Fun..it falls short. Laughable AoE, the fast pace is gone and the retarded Energy Chirp-I mean Transfer doesn't come around till after you've done nothing but spam EP, BS and OMFG IS BARRAGE RECHARGED YET.
  10. Warshade for it's sheer potential.

While Peacebringers would seem to match my playstyle and preferences more, the sounds, brightness, KB and the rather cut and paste powersets turn me off.
  11. If customization includes sounds, I'll make a PB. The current sf/x are terrible and the bright white is hard on the eyes. As to my WS, I'll add some nictus red to the purple.

    Cold or FF?

YES! I must decide to bubble all of my team or not! That makes FF auto winz!

I dunno about anyone else but I can tell you this: A good Cold is playing actively and using some sense. Theyre not going to waste thier Benumb on a Lt. because it just recharged, or Sleet on a spawn with 3 critters left or HL when theres an AV around the corner or anchor snow-storm on the minion closest to you. Your right, no skill at all.
  13. The problem with this would be a group thinking they'd cleared the DSed spawn and moving on, only to have them chase you down when the effect wears off.
  14. Kitty_Eater

    Cold or FF?

Still at it, are you? Shouldn't you be in an asylum?
  15. Kitty_Eater

    Cold or FF?

Simple: Preference. The Dispersion bubble, just like Sonic, messes with my eyes. I like Ice Armor, thus the shields f/x are appealing. I will admit I despise the looping sound of Arctic Fog, though. I thought they were going to adress things like this while I was away.
  16. Green Fire Blast. Purple Psi. White Dark Armor?
  17. Kitty_Eater

    Cold/Psy

It's certainly capable. I don't play mine all that much anymore but it's a great addition to a team, solos well and does ok in pvp...though I haven't tried it since pvp was uh, what do you call it it..fixed?
  18. Kitty_Eater

    Cold or FF?

Cold. FF is boring, bad/old graphics and late-game, people tend to just steamroll stuff, where a skilled Cold keeps that fast pace going. It's also invaluable against AV's.
  19. Storm/Psi.

Because KAKOW! and Ming, Ming Ming! are cool.
  20. Whole thread is full of lols.

    Issue 13 Update

Yes, must make sure all the new Badge art is up to par -.-
  22. I do hope there will be more proliferated powersets in this issue along with Shields and Vill Empathy. Those don't really interest me and I'm not sure if I'll be spending much time with the Missions Creator after reading Posi's adress.
