Care to explain your opinion on it being next to useless to slot Combat Jump ?

    [/ QUOTE ]

Combat Jumping is only 2.25% defense.
3-slot it with 3 lvl 50 Defense IOs and you get a measly 3.57%.

Combat Jumping IMO is good for slotting LoTG + rech or Karma -KB IOs (if you don't wanna pick Acrobatics, for pve a Karma IO will do in most cases for knockback)
  2. It's next to useless slotting Combat Jumping. Jut put 1 LoTG +7.5 recharge and you're golden.

Man this 'guide' should be named 'Bad fire kin builds'...

Now what most farmers use is this build (epics can be fire - the most commeon - or psy instead of stone - I use Assault instead of Maneuvers, it's the only difference from the standand build below):

    Great guide!
Followed your advice and i'm now sitting on over 28 mil on one toon and upwards of 15 - 20 mil on 5 others. I don't have to worry about anything i need to buy again lol
    Thanks Again!!!

    [/ QUOTE ]

DAmn, I just can't seem to get it. Sometime ago yes, but the recipes mentioned among others aren't just what they used to be... the recipes sometimes are more expensive than the enhances... I'm having problems except on my crazy TF [censored] toons.
  4. [ QUOTE ]
You could probably hold off on Conductive Shield until the 20's. It's your Fire, Cold, Energy and Negative Energy resistance so I wouldn't skip it all together, no way! I took it at level 6 and it's been a great help. It doesn't need to be ran at all times in the early levels, but as those damage types become more common, I tend to run it more often.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Thanks, I just can't find where to put it in my build above before the 30's. Would be useful in Siren's Call...
  5. [ QUOTE ]
Take grounded earlier and don't take tremor until 40+ -- I took it after getting Ball Lighting. It's too weak on its own as an AOE. I'd drop resuscitate.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Thanks, nice to know that... I can take Grounded at 32. What about Cond. Shield? Is it important?

I put ressuc. at 49 because I didn't think of anything else, but I wonder if Cond. Shield is important early on or if I can take it at 44-49.
  6. I'm having trouble fitting some powers on my stone/elec brute... A build would be helpful, here's mine, level 14 so far... I'm having problems putting Grounded earlier than 41 and fitting Condutive Shield in, is it necessary? Thanks. PS: Build Up at 30 is for Siren's ^^

  8. Oh awesome guide, and very very fun too ^^.

Now... a build is lacking! I always like to see a build at least for guiding purposes to see when you put Vines and some powers that can be pushed back.

    Thankya!
  9. By the way, in my PuG experience (in Freedom) I have found out that most Hero Pugs I get are competent at least, but on villainside... Oh man, so many bad teams, especially the MMs who won't do anything.

    Great post.
  10. I only use Windows to play this game on my Mac Mini, works very well XD
  11. Loved the guide. Would like to see a sample build, not that I copy builds, but it's always nice to see how you allocate your powers and such

great guide! My problem is I found it too late and most of the plans aren't working as well as I assume they once did. an example is while looking for the mentioned set recipes I found they had all been bought I know you have fresh ways to get rich. share one with me please

  13. Excellent guide! I will use it for my claws/SR I just rolled.

One question... Isn't Lucky skippable since you won't get a huge bonus and also won't be AoE'd a lot? Isn't it enough just to get the toggle AoE defense, Evasion?

    Thanks!

    The DM/DA Bible

Being a 'multitasker' player (my main is a Mind/Emp troller, probly the most tiresome build to play since you have to pay attention to everything, like buffs, heals, mob control, angles for telekinesis, etc), I was never too attracted to the scrapper pool cause it seemed to limited in gameplay, seeing my friends playing them. Besides I got bored with my tank at lvl 20 and couldnt stand playing it anymore.

After I read your guide, I am simply having a blast since the beggining with my DM/DA scrapper. She's at 23 and simply kicks [censored], I can even act like a tank in lots of missions when there are some buffers and healers.

As many have said before, BEST GUIDE EVER.
