Stupid real work! Getting in the way of your fun!
-

All I see is the same preview of Issue 21 that has been there since it was first announced?
-=EDIT=- NVM, needed to refresh the page... -
Quote:Personally I would never go that far. If I get a KB player that knows how to do it strategically I have nothing to worry about, if not I instead adapt my play style to fit and avoid as much frustration as possible. If you don't like playing with a character with lots of knockback...don't team with them.
When teamed with another player who ends up using KB poorly, I have been known to switch to a different character that can better handle it. (i.e. a single target blaster or such). -

Hey y'all, I will be working from home all day Wednesday and I have one of those jobs where that means I essentially have to answer an email once an hour unless a dire emergency comes up.
That being said, I would like to run iTrials for EMPs and Astrals to unlock costume pieces if any of you are around from 9-5 est.
-=Rock On=- ! -
Thanks for having me along, if you decide to try for more let me know. I would be glad to lend two tons of sledgehammer to the cause!

I am (and always have been) firmly in the camp of folks that hate knockback. I know it can be played well and used effectively and my hat is off to those folks who can achieve it.
My solution has always been to avoid taking powers with knockback, and in some cases, entire sets. It would be pretty cool if I could play with knockdown instead of knockback, but I don't think it is likely to ever happen. -

Just got my Arachnos Superior Core Allies last night, my spider army is now complete!
(Oh, and I love it!)
-
...
and as soon as I loaded into a new zone, I got my email....
So I guess that is the issue. Weirdness. -
I 'bought' 2 pieces of the ascension radiance armor set (belt and gloves), and claimed vouchers with 2 of my characters.
I no longer have any vouchers available on any of my other characters, but some (all level 50) can access the gloves, some can access the belt, and some can access neither.
What is the best way to go about reporting this to try and get it fixed? -
I use them about 1/2 the time. I find them good at annoying the enemy and making them not focus on me. Now that I'm all Incarnatey-goodness though I don't really *need* them.
Still, makes me happy to have my little army of 5 spiders running around. -
Quote:I like that option, that way you are free to ignore it if you wish and free to help out if you wish.I'm still hoping that they institute a "Free Player" section of the forum. Just make it one forum area, so that if you're not interested in reading what's in there, you can just skip over it. Free players can read the rest of the forums, but only have posting privileges there.
I know that the Devs are worried about Spam, but the other option isn't that much better. -
This post is one of things that concerns me about issue 21. How would this nice prospective player been able to ask his question and get answers from all you great folks without access to the forums as a free player.
[EDIT]
Oh and yes, you should really get this game. The community is *awesome* and the game is a *ton* of fun! -
Quote:I can't answer you from a mathematical point of view, because I quite honestly don't know. I can tell you that it *feels* like Ion hits EVERYTHING all the time.Put another way-given 10 targets and a 90% to hit (I'm using that to make the math easy) which would hit more targets void, ion, or does it not matter?

<- Interested in seeing the replies.
At first glance it looks like it should play on moderate settings very well.
But I don't know much about the "NVIDIA GeForce GT540M" -
The ability to trade incarnate components freely between all of your characters.
(I kid, I kid! Ow. Stop hitting me!!!!) -

I had this issue years ago whenever I tried to play on Guardian. It got so bad that I left my home server for a while and played on Infinity.
It turned out that *lots* of people were having an issue similar to mine, which was this: we lived on the east coast but were playing on west coast servers. We all had the same ISP, and eventually it was determined that there was a bad router 'out there' somewhere on the internets.
Some very smart people came up with predictable/repeatable results and were able to get the ISP in question (Comcast) to actually diagnose and repair the equipment. -
My Mace/WP broot took Ion, and it is my favorite of the Judgments by far.
I love how it goes around and hits stuff that isn't neatly packed and isn't necessarily what I was fighting.I'll drag a group of baddies close enough to another group and just target someone from group 2 for Ion.
Most of the 2nd group goes down, and the ones that survive generally don't attack because I am already at the agro cap. -
I have to agree that a preview of all of these things should be available at the vendor. I'm a seven year vet and it never even occurred to me to check the test server...

I went with the IDF on my crab. He was my 4th Incarnate, so I chose the only pets I hadn't chosen yet.
If I ever decide to get different pets I will probably go with Arachnos for more spiders. I love running around with my 5 spiders!
