Are you actually being serious? lol In no way shape or form do those acts represent or have any thing to do with st patties day. To even think for a second that someone would connect it as having anything to do with us as a nation worries me greatly. I'm ashamed to call myself irish to be quite honest if thats what some people think. (and i live in northern ireland, but im not particularly politically strong minded except when it effects me.)

Its my favourite set on all of coh, (especially lightning rod, whoever came up wth that better have got a promotion ) And its disappointing to see it not available unless your evil! am i alone in this request? or have i missed its place in the hero world.

I'd seen it in the shops and was tempted to buy but at the time couldnt afford to pay for another MMO. After my brothers mate handed him a trial i tried it out and loved it so much i left MXO and started to play. I've been flicking between the two for the past 2 years or so but after MXO's main developer left i guess im sticking with COH... Well excited for the MA!

1. Download Mac Test client(EU)

2. Double-click on the MAC_CoH_Test_Server_EU.dmg file to mount "City of Heroes" onto your Desktop.

3. Double-click the "City of Heroes" mounted drive so that a window with the "City Of Heroes" icon and "Applications" Folder icon appears.

4. Drag the "City of Heroes" icon onto the "Applications" Folder icon.

5. Open your Applications Folder and click on the City of Heroes icon to complete your installation.

With the annoucment of the I14 closed beta testing i wanted to know (since i recently converted to mac for ease of use - yay no more buggy PC )how i would go about making a test client on mac and if its possible

Ok im not a long time subscriber mainly because i also play another mmo, but seriously you dont know what you've got here with COH. The developers at NC do alot for this game, its got too many great and unique features. Unfortunately that means that your used to getting all this attention and content when you need it.

The other game i play is The matrix online and really if you play it for any length of time you come to appreciate just how lucky you have it to have a development team over 5 members that are dedicated to bringing continually great and unique updates. Go see re-hashed content, it'll enlighten you that it could be alot worse...

As for this not so general issue, i'd say as most have with the new issues coming up no matter how large your development team is consider that they have planned and working on two large updates for this game having just released another. (lets not include the mac version release too)

Its understandable when your used to the new stuff but don't get upset when they take a breather to count for other things. Planning something as unpredicatble and dynamic as an MMO is not easy... schedules can get messed up by small unforseen problems. (:

(also worth mentioning MXO costs 10% more than coh also...)

im being cocky here and assuming the 2GB ram and duel core 2.4Ghz processor are handling fine (actually i can back that up i run activity monitor - Mac OS Task Manager) it shows CPU usage running with spare processing power. (thats including itunes, safari and MSN running in the background )

All that said cannot vouch for my graphics card though it all seams to be fine and i've been having problems generally with the network/internet connection anyway. so i'll fix this and see if my problems are fixed n get back to you (:

Ok back on topic of this thread... I'm having serious network lag when using COH on my mac, couple that with running almost full steam on a core 2 duo processor. It works but only marginally. I'm hoping thats its my faulty modem thats causing the network lag (which will be fixed in the next week or two).

I'll bide my time until then and see if there's any improvements but i hope it can be corrected. the main reason i re-subbed was to check out this for mac, its slightly disappointing that i cant move and often glitch zoning. (which i have to determine is a mac only glitch or not...)

Yea i'd definitely like to see this changed. Can get annoying if your not on the same time as some members!

I havent tried it from the changes but the raid before were alot of chaotic fun. (: i enjoyed the many i did before it changed >.<

The valk packs being given to beta testers for free isnt unfair simply because they're going to be working for it (atleast thats what its purpose is and they should, otherwise they shouldnt be entering mac beta test)

True but thats because technically "right click" doesn't exist on a mac, or more precisely its replaced with "ctrl + click". Really though what do you use the secondary mouse button for unless reconfigured personally for something else >.< For me tho i'll be using a macbook pad it'll be interesting to see how it plays with regards controls. I'm rather excited to see how it handles on my mac too.

This might just have ensured i sub next month, i've been dieing to play a half decent mmo on my mac. I have both a Pc and a MAC and lets face it, i'm sick of having to wait for my PC to load internet explorer.

I've been a PC lover from i started but MAC runs *alot* smoother than any PC will ever. Its this uninterupted quality that makes mac just as important to me as a gamer. Oh and... i dont get virus' on my mac

Really? im nearly sure theres a protection somewhere i remember seeing it in a power description in the new combat stats giving a resistance to placate. I'll get back to you.

Stalkers are a pain generally they're nimble and can deal damage quick as said it takes skill to use them but also takes skill to fight them. Expecting to just wait there and fight is probably where your failing. IO's are a really nice boost to your character but they're in no way godly.

Well i figured it wouldnt be as soon as christmas ^^ but it's good to know they're looking into it and hopefully we'll see some changes eventually

Thanks again mainly a mix of brushes/blur/rubber and a copied layer (of the above) with a motion blur over the entire thing. Makes the snow look like its going somewhere i used the rubber on a low flow to make the snow stand out in palces and fade into the background in other places. its just a matter of working with it untill it looks right, in my case anyway

I used to play the matrix online for quite some time before i seen the light over there they had impressive RL graphics (which was its selling point personally and i mean non-cartoon/fantasy >.&lt so i used to dabble in photoshopping screenies etc. i decided to take a screen shot and have a little fun to get used to using it as its been quite some time therefore i present my technology ice/dev blaster in kings row earlier

OUCH! no ...i went from tri to human WS (i thought i'd be the same as PB) human ws's are gimmped something shocking major PITA i had to level him to get respec took ages now hes tri again

I disagree with your tough and weave comment, i think its necessary as you dont always have the same level or lower mobs. Generally they're always higher and that comes with that is the great chance that not all cinder/cage will hit them.

I have ONE! -end red. in my powers atm i admit to having a blue craving but only slightly more than normal as i said rest is there for a reason perhaps when i get to 50 or get enough inf going i'll buy end red enhanc and it'll make it alot easier maybe even not need blues as much. aswlel as with the +end power

Hit 32 recieved imps, can solo 15 or so white/yellows with a few yellow/red/blues. i choose hotfeet at 30 helped quite a bit. (looking at the "how do you run hotfeet" comment made me laugh. the -end from it is pathetic...made me giggle :P )

i still dont think im going to respec stamina in but i may change around a bit well see
