Thanks for the well wishes. I think the interview went very well, and I should be hearing back in the next few days.

As for the minis, I was supposed ot make Derek_Fayte a bust, and I made a monster mini instead. All I gotta say is...

    Picky Picky Picky

Well, seeing as tho I was supposed to make you a bust. I made you a few new ones, Derek. Maybe you might like one of these better:

A New Version Of The Derek Mini Bust
    A True Bust Of Derek
    Happy Now?

Hope one of these will make his highness happy

I'm partial to the first one, myself.

    Lightning Gal

    Very nice.

I like that you didn't do the heavy inking lines on her. Sometimes an image (or mini - grumbles) doesn't need such heavy outlines. After all, they don't exist in reality (then again, neither do we).
  3. I think you should finish them all, then post them all at once. Keep the masses in suspense!

    That's what I'd do, anyway.

Oh, wait, I am doing that since I haven't drawn anything concrete since 2001...
  4. Rox looks awesome, dude.
  5. Very cool. Keep in mind that with Project A-Kon in Dallas at the beginning of June (and that one is HUGE), it can take some doing. I think there is also a big one in Houston.

I'm not exactly sure what all it takes to run a con. You might check out Dragon's Lair owner, David, to see what information he might have, or check their board.

I'm wracking my brain, but it's really hard to think of much else of value in the Austin/Round Rock/Pflugerhell area.
  6. I must have missed who had posted it.

    Congrats Juggy!

Note: Those Mr. Clean Magic Erasers work wonders! They will get crayon off of walls, doors, refrigerators, tvs... invest now.
  7. Methinks there is news afoot that has not been proclaimed as yet...
  8. Is the suspense rainbow colored?

Sorry, Mork and Mindy reference. I'm dating myself, again. Really really bad pun. *BONK!s self*
  9. I haven't seen any of the bad guys past level 28 (which is where my highest is), so I really have nothing to compare to except previous experience.

He still looks like a zombie to me. Maybe a Riktified Zombie Lost?
  10. I dunno. He looks like a zombie to me. Maybe Dr. Vahzilok got ahold of the body?
  11. Besides, we can vote for up to 16 people. The chances of being chosen aren't horrid.
  12. What part of Central Texas? If Austin, Ushi-Con failed after only a few years.

For networking? Sorry, I'm pretty dry, but you can try the UT gaming club (if it's still around) or the UT Anime club (again, if it's still there). It has been about ten years since I've been to either so I really don't know if they are still up and running.

Anime Heretics Austin might have some contacts or information that will be useful to you. Karsten has been into Anime for a very long time.
  13. Woo!! Lady Omen looks great!

How about La Muerte Roja? She's in my scraps as well. Fire/Fire Blaster.
  14. My poor eyes are not used to seeing such as that!
  15. Okay, so I voted, one for each month. I'm going to go wash my eyes out with Clorox now.
  16. I think it's better than calling him Juggs....
  17. Concentrate on getting a job. The art will always be there, but you need supplies in order to do it!
  18. *shrug*

    I prefer Chess.

    Or Camelot (with Richard Harris).

But Chess has a very awesome soundtrack.
  19. I see it as...

"Hunny, those (insert random villian here) over there were being rude to me..."
  20. Buckeye, just remember this...

Never tease a woman's child where she will hear of it. It will call forth the WrathStorm (hmm, cool name *ponders*) and you'll be grovelling for mercy.

TA, your mom's quite good. I especially like the Baby TA pic. It's Kawaii!

    Hmm...pretty good! =)

The black areas create alot of contrast to the skin areas, though. You probably should've kept the lines in place to negate that...although I'm just nitpicking. It's really not that noticeable.

Very good, Jugg, but I agree with the quoted post. The pants look like they could use some breakup.

Regardless, this piece is excellently colored. I still rely on my pastels to color with. I've done two using PSP and while the results were okay, they were nothing like this.
