    LadyJudgement

I've been missing LJ since I made Kay 2. I was inspired to make a tanker and have been wanting to team since.
  2. Okay, so it's not art, per se, but screen shots. My art skills are sluggish these days.

    Frigid Elf

My Ice/Ice Corruptor, part of The Naughty List VG.

The group (just me, my husband, and brother-in-law) get a lot of looks when running around the Isles.
  3. Submit this for the City Scoop's Valentine's edition. It should be the splash page.
  4. okay, I'll see if I can get them up. Brain is fried right now.

Okay, I was taking screenies of other characters, but here you go:

    Chalet 1
    Chalet 2
    Chalet 3
  5. I got some interior shots.
  6. Uhh

I saw it as "Rise of the Phoenix" or "Rise of Dark Phoenix"

    Very cool, though.

    I want one!!

    [ QUOTE ]
I would rather commission someone to do it themselves. Using a machine lacks a personal touch.

    I hate double-posting, but...

I can hook you up with the industry greats such as Sandra Garrity or Jason Wiebe. They do charge a lot and turnaround is dependent upon their workload. Again, 28mm in size, instead of the 4", is their typical working size and painting is not done. You'll basically end up with a green.

Otherwise, you can look into people trying to get into the industry via the reapermini forums or coolminiornot.com.

    I want one!!

    There are other options.

    Reaper Mini Forums

Crusoe might be able to point you in a direction, but mind that the minis he created are more in the 28mm size for miniature gaming as opposed to the 4" figures of Figureprinting.

    Obviously, they'd also require painting.
  9. Actually, that could easily be re-worded for Khep...

"I'm a Defender, not a "Healer!" I don't "Heal" anything, I Defend! Whoever told you I need to "Heal" things is a big, fat, WoW player who doesn't understand that there are no healers in CoX. In fact, I want names! I want to know, who told you I'm a healbot, cause the only one who needs healing around here is the person who's about to get a Psionic Wail up his butt!"
  10. TA Santa Elf?

That's what we need. TA in a Santa's Elf outfit! Complete with a fur trimmed pleated miniskirt.

I'd join in, but there was already one done of Khep...
  11. Rerolled Khep as a DB/WP scrapper. Still only level two, though.
  12. Eew!

Sorry, as pregnant as I am, I still avoid SPAM.
  13. Yeah, even I was getting spam. When was the last time I uploaded anything new?
  14. Or you can go to Reaper Miniatures (blatant plug from a rampant Reaper Fangirl) and buy their beginning or advanced dollies.

You can also pick up the green and brownstuff there. I know at the physical Asylum store they have some miniature sculpting kits, but I haven't looked to see if they sell them on the online store.

Sandra is a sweetheart. Last ReaperCon she resculpted the hand on a partially painted mini I had of hers that I didn't realize had a poorly cast hand. She loves to sit and chat at any con she's at. She'll also talk your ear off!

At the Reaper Forums is an area just for sculpting as well if you want to pick up more ideas on how to work with the 28-54mm scale. There are other lists where they can point you to as well. I think there's a Yahoo club or something or other where Sandra, Julie, Bob Ridolphi, Jason Wiebe, and others post.

Polymer clay is fun to work with..

    [/ QUOTE ]

You know what I've been loving working with lately?

Kneadatite. Its awesome <@.@> it has a VERY fast cure time though, so you've got to keep it moist and work fast; but for small models its soooooooo much fun! I need to get more armatures to work from though >.<

    [/ QUOTE ]

Are you using the green, brown, or yellow stuff (the yellow is new, ProCreate I think). This is the stuff the ultra-professional miniature modelers like Sandra Garrity and Julie Guthrie use (internet search will turn up their models - amazing sculptresses and they've been in the business for over 25 years).

If you use a hot lamp while working with the greenstuff it's going to set faster. Try using a low-heat producing fluorescent if you don't want it setting too fast. You can also use vaseline or Jason Wiebe's choice, Vicks Mentholatum, to keep things smooth.
  16. Actually, I'm pretty anti-social networking sites.

Call me anti-social, but considering who I work for, I'd rather not get myself in trouble. dA is the most I do and when I'm on maternity leave, I'll be trying to use some of my time to get my site up somewhat and removing that.
  17. Number two.

Number one looks a little too cold.

Number three looks like a candy cane in a dress (sorry).

Maybe add a white snowflake emblem to the front of the shirt and make the green on #2 a little less deep, more Kelley green.

*wishes we had ice skates as a boot option...*

    Scanners

Don't get a UMAX. To get upgraded drivers for new OSs you have to pay for them.

Canon, HP, and Epson tend to make decent scanners these days. I think if I get another one, it will be an HP, but I haven't done any research on them lately.

Khep as a dual blades would be... *bites lip* Awwwwesome.

    [/ QUOTE ]

    Indeed.
  20. Whee, a chance to show off Khep's new costumes!

Yeah, you can always include Khep in a City of Nuts. Soon, though, I'll be re-rolling her for dual-blade with those lovely khopesh swords. (insert heart smiley here)
  21. Yay.

    Yeah, I turned 40 today.

Instead of cake, I'm getting fresh pumpkin bread which is still in the oven. Mmmm, pumpkin bread.

Maybe I should make the fudge brownies as well and just have a gorge-fest.
  22. Heh.

    Thanks, ya'll.

I would assume the same as everyone else, TS. I'm just not big on chocolate cake. I like classic white or vanilla.

Although I'll always go for a Harvey Wallbanger cake first. Can't go wrong with vodka and Galliano liquer in a cake!
