Adding my few cents on the matter...

The only thing I believe wont have a space on the Paragon Market, IO Set-wise, is the purples.

Everything else is fair game for me.

I dont "play the market". I dont have gazillions of inf on my characters. I use whatever I find, and I am pretty confortable with all I have.

The regular sets (non-purple) are, on my vision, perfect targets to use on the PMarket, and should bring more revenue to the game.

Plus, taking away a bit of pressure from the supply/demand on the regular market could (probably not) drive the prices lower, thus turning it more attractive to the newcomers.

I have participated all the years they did it, and I will do it again!

And I will pester everyone on FB and Twitter too!

I know everyone should know about this... but i never had to think about this topic as I am and always will be VIP.

But I got a friend that is starting now.

He created by accident a toon on a server, and deleted it. But the slot is there. Can he move the SLOT to another server?

How about...

F2P players get to join a SG as "Probatory Members" (new rank).
Probatory members can only talk on SG chat and enter SG mode to generate prestige.

No bonus prestige above the normal for SG prestige generation.
No special perks for the SG (so they wont be abused).

But they will be able to talk with the SG and get help/teaming with the other members.

Even the chat-only status would be very good for the game (even if they dont generate the prestige of SG mode).

Just to add my few cents on the talking...

I once created a toon with the intention of seeing how fast it would be turned into Generic Nova...

Name wasnt even close to the original (marvel) character.
Costume was a perfect replication.
Powers was perfectly replicated.
Bio was perfectly replicated.

I went normally from 1 to 20. Sometimes someone would recognize the costume, and compliment me on the well done job.

Then, at 20, i decided to add the second costume slot. Did a replication of another of that same character costume. And turned in the Halloween salvage, adding another costume replicated of the same character.
Same results. Some compliments, but as it wasnt a blatant name, and the most Iconic costumes were used only on Task Forces, I got to 30.

Added another costume slot. Yes, another replication costume.
And the same thing happened. Some compliments, no attention.

At 40 I didnt had more costumes of that character that I could replicate with current costume parts, so made a new and original costume...

Got to 50. And got tired of all those replication costumes. I was a total faill on getting generic. Changed a few of the costumes, making new things. Changed the Bio.

And now I have 10 costume slots on that toon, 3 of then replications (2 famous, 1 obscure) and 7 original ones.

I prefer my costumes...

Thats why I care only for the game, not the events.

I think I can "donate" P-Nova to Exalted...

You dont need to grind. You dont need to farm.

Sometimes I play a few task forces over and over, but mostly because I have fun on those and because I'm normally trying to do different things and/or get the feeling of my latest tweeks on my toons. And some of the TFs I like arent the popular ones (like the Shadow Shard, for an example).

I dont deal with the market too. I run up to 50 with mostly what I find and craft.
When I find a recipe, I craft it and store it on my base.
When I have a toon that needs it, I get it.

Today I had a visit on my base, and he was amazed of the things I had stored there. He is one of the "ebil marketeers", and said I could make a fortune with those enhancements. He refused to believe that those were my drops, and not a market tweek. He also refused to believe that the most influence I ever got on a toon was 300 mil, and thats because I pulled influence from many toons...

Its amazing what youll get when you play having fun. Its almost Karmic.
The point is... Having fun is your reward, not the latest shinnies. You cant control what drop youll get. But you can control what gives you fun.

Ouch: from 1 to 50
Panzer Sister Nova: from 41 to 50
Sapper Nova: from 43 to 50
Assembler Nova: from 34 to 39

but I had a lot of help of some friends, specially the Queen of Debt Casa.

And the debtfull Casa does it again...

Ouch. became a fiddie tanker...
